I went there with very high expectations but was highly disappointed with my haircut.
The first thing I told Janice was I don’t like short hair but still she ended up using the machine all over for the cut & my hair style ended up looking worse than what a $ 12 cut looks like, & I paid $ 65 for this! I would not recommend this place.

Well I really am not sure where to start here. I have lived in the northeast for about three years now, and finally, FINALLY I have had the haircut. You know, that cut where when you leave you are just pumped and you know it looks awesome and you know its going to grow at perfectly and you feel like a million bucks. Yeah. Janice is a miracle worker, my hair is a challenge that many before her have failed at.
This is not only the best cut I have had in three years, but probably one of the best ever.
The space is awesome, modern and inviting. Janice is very nice, informative, and super laid back, her assistant Leah is as well. Scheduling was easy and she offered suggestions about product without pushing them. I can honestly say this was the best experience I have ever had at a salon.

Janice is a nice woman and I really wanted to be happy with services. We discussed and reviewed my own hair to make sure my expectations were reasonable before and during my first appointment.
Without going into long detailed description I will say this:
I gave Janice 1 star because not only was my cut awful (my new stylist fixed it beautifully) but I reached out to Janice THREE TIMES after getting advice from other stylists on how to ‘fix’ what had been done. I very politely wrote and told her what I did to resolve the haircut issue. The last email was to say how disappointed I had been that she made no effort to respond… not even an acknowledgment that I wrote.
The lack of concern I got after spending a good amount of money left me insulted and let down.
UPDATE TO REVIEW: after months of trying to let Janice know I was so disappointed I reluctantly wrote a review. Surprise, surprise… it only took a few days for her post post a public response. Slightly hilarious, all she had to do was take the time to privately acknowledge my other attempts. My one star stands.

After spending the last 10 years getting my hair cut in various walk in shops, I decided to give Janice a try based off the other reviews left by her male clientele. I walked out of my last cut at one of those places with the worst cut of my life and was so traumatized I was literally afraid to get my hair cut again. I must say that after going to Janice, all my fears have faded. The other reviews were spot on. Walked out of there feeling like a million bucks. No more random cuts of me, I’m looking forward to my next cut with Janice!

Honestly since I have gotten my hair cut by Janice a couple weeks ago, I haven’t had a bad hair day her cut is just sensational, the best part is even sleeping on it all night it s still look great all i have to do is style it with a blow dryer a little and another great hair day. That was probably one of the first things I have noticed was wow my hair is still in tact after waking up… She really is an amazing stylist and she does not rush her services on your cut color or discussions of what your looking for in a style or color,

Janice ROCKS! I have fairly long hair which has been colored many times over. When I first came to Janice, I was in bad shape. (Dry, frizzy, and dull-​looking over-​processed hair.) Janice knew how to remove the tones that I didn’t want and bring in the color I did want. We’re talking multiple processes here. Janice not only fixed my color — but she was able to recommend the right products and treatments that have made my hair look and feel healthy. I wouldn’t think of going to anyone else.
