Meet the Business Owner
Chris T.
Business Owner
Chris Thompson grew up in Michigan. He spent his childhood exploring the many lakes, ponds, and wetlands around his home. He went to college to become a teacher but discovered he was more interested in working outside in the landscape industry.
Chris bought into a landscape company in 2001 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In the fall of 2003, he relocated to Des Moines to be with his long time girlfriend. They married in 2004 and Chris started his landscape business at the same time.
In 2005, Chris built his first water feature at his home. He immediately became hooked on water gardens and pushed his business that direction. By 2006, he was only building water gardens.
Chris currently lives in Ankeny Iowa with his wife, son, 2 dogs, and over 30 koi in his backyard pond.
