Foot reflexology is therapeutic foot massage which is great for people who have sore feet or who need to de-​stress. By its nature, reflexology is soothing to the feet. People who have foot pain from diabetes, plantar fasciitis, neuropathy, or just plain tired or sore feet, find that their feet feel much better after a reflexology session. Reflexology also calms down an over-​active nervous system; this helps the body to heal itself. Massaging reflex zones on the feet (corresponding to organs/​glands) enhances the function of the organs/​glands and is a wonderful way to «tune up» the body.

History

Established in 2007.

After working for 20 years as a staff nurse at U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor, Denise decided to pursue the holistic therapy of Foot Reflexology. After completing the course in Reflexolo-​Chi and obtaining her certification in 2007, she opened her practice at the Natural Healing Center in Ann Arbor. She sees clients on Tuesday through Saturday afternoons.
