Dog boarding, daycare and training. Super Mutts is a K-​9 retreat located on our home property at the base of the Superstition Mountains. At Super Mutts your pet gets more personal time and attention than at a larger commercial establishment. At Super Mutts all guests socialize freely throughout the day with each other. We also offer other amenities such as neighborhood walks, mountain trail hikes, In home social time and spa treatments for additional fees. For your convenience we offer pickup and delivery with all services.

History

Established in 2003.

Super Mutts was established in 2003 by owners Cindy and Kenneth Quigley. Super Mutts began as a small home grooming business and has since added boarding, training and daycare.

Business Owner

Cindy has been an

animal lover all of her life and from a young age she knew her

life’s work would be working with animals. She grew up with animals and trained her first dog at age 18. In 1984 she became a Veterinary Technician.

In 1985 she became a professional pet stylist, apprenticing

under a groomer of 20+ years. She groomed professionally for 8 years and

in 1993 made a career change and became an R.N. (Registered

Nurse). During that time she continued building and training a pack of dogs at home and studying animal behavior as well as taking a course through Penn Foster on dog obedience. Throughout her 11 years of nursing, she felt something missing and decided to follow her heart. The love of her animals made her realize the importance of leaving pets in an environment that you can trust; she was also a busy professional and time was limited. She quickly realized how important a reliable pet care

service that offered pick-​up and delivery would be.
