Dr. Altherr lives in the Apex area with his wife, their young son and 2 dogs. He is a native of Cary and practiced general dentistry for 2 years before returning to UNC’s prestigious orthodontic program for an additional 3 years of training to become an orthodontist in 2002. Dr. Altherr is passionate about his profession and practice, and is a Board Certified Orthodontic specialist.
