Established in 1987.

Though licensed in 1992, I began in 1987, as a self-​employed house painter. Focusing on high quality and integrity, with on-​going training always learning new techniques, LeBaron Painting has always been about serving the needs of the client. Now as Transformational Color, with the emphasis on Decorative Painting, the standards and focus remain the same. Deliver high quality painting and satisfied customers will spread the word. Gregory approached my bedroom painting project like both a professional and a true artist. He helped me figure out the feeling and mood I hoped to evoke in the room, and from there we embarked on a journey of color discovery. Gregory’s experience and intuition made this process a joy to participate in. We ended up with some colors that I hadn’t originally expected, but that I absolutely love and capture the feeling that I had hoped to capture, all while graciously working within my budget for the project. Jonathan (one of Gregory’s crew) was a pleasure to work with as well. When the color we had picked for the ceiling didn’t feel right to me after he had painted it, it wasn’t a problem at all to have it changed to another color. It’s clear that both Gregory and Jonathan derive a lot of satisfaction from seeing their clients happy.

I had the pleasure of meeting Gregory several months ago when we were looking for a painter for our new sun room. Because of less than perfect construction, we knew we would need a quality company. We got that with Transformational Color and so much more. Gregory and his team expertly minimized imperfections and primed our room for painting. Then, Gregory spent time with my husband and I to discuss colors, likes, dislikes and what we wanted from the sun room. Gregory somehow managed to engage my husband, a Navajo White color proponent, to step out of the box and explore the world of color. When all was said and done, the paint application turned out to be the crowning jewel of the room! Gregory is a special person, kind, generous, and a true color artist. I recommend him heart and soul and am happy to talk with anyone about our experience with Transformational Color — Gregory has my number. If you want your project taken to the highest level, work with Gregory!

We worked with Gregory to transform the interior of our all-​white house with 19 (!) colors and some very interesting textures. Everyone loves the change — we didn’t have a vision to start, but Gregory worked patiently with us to choose colors that reflected our taste and transformed the mood of our house. Jonathan, who did most of the painting, was extremely considerate of our need to live in the house while it was painted, and he cleaned up every day. Jonathan was a genuine pleasure to have around. Jonathan is an expert painter, and they made two extra inspections to catch every little glitch. I’m writing from my office with linen-​textured walls, very pleased with the result.

I highly recommend Gregory LeBaron and his enthusiastic company! Gregory demonstrated sincere care to the painting my house from start to finish. He was extremely patient and respectful of the entire process of picking colors, changing my mind and taking a personal interest in the end result. His staff are unbelievable and courteous. My neighbors let me know that they were very impressed how meticulously they prepared my house for the painting. Everyday the job was clean and equipment put away. Jesus took extra time to talk to me about the entire process of how my house was prepared for the painting, how the paint was applied and what was important to making sure my house stayed in good condition for years to come. Jesus expressed how important it was to emulate the same commitment and pride in the project as Gregory. It is a unique situation to have workers feel so committed to their boss and his focus on excellence in all aspects of the job.

Gregory and Transformational color delivered an experience and outcome that was beyond my expectations (a rare thing since my expectations are high!) Our office was transformed quickly and beautifully, and the level of service and attention to detail far exceeded any other painting company I’ve ever used. Gregory took everything into account, including the office flow and made the timing work so that there was no interruption in our business. It was sort of like magic. I left him in charge, gave him the key, and he took care of everything so that I walked into an extraordinary experience when I returned to my office. 5 Stars all the way.

I enthusiastically recommend Transformational Color. They painted the exterior of our home and some outbuildings, and I can’t imagine how the job could have gone more smoothly or more comfortably. The results are excellent.
Gregory had infinite patience for discussing color ideas with us, always pleasant and never rushed. We’re very happy with the final color selection.
The crew were friendly, professional, and considerate. They kept the disruption to a minimum, and at the end of the job picked up after themselves thoroughly. They did a very thorough job, sanding and priming where the sun had blasted through the old paint.
The work was completed on budget and on schedule, despite the schedule being complicated by the need to interleave this painting job with gutter work and roof work being done by a different crew.

Transformational color is exactly what happened when I entered my repainted room!
Gregory was very easy to work with through the painting process and the final result is beautiful! My white wood paneled ceiling was made to resemble white washed wood — worm holes included. The realism of the wood is incredible, I cannot decide what I enjoy more, the stria red walls or the white washed wood effect. And somehow Gregory made red walls soothing, not to distract the eye from the gorgeous window view. Gregory and his partner do not just paint walls or effects they paint with their spirt and it truly shows in both the painting and the respectful energy the bring with to your space. Pets and people alike find my room the favorite in the house.

This is the 2nd time Gregory has worked on our house. His first time was as a sub-​contractor working for Elite Construction and worked on the interior. Marvelous job on the interior. Came time to get the outside of the house done and Transformational came up high on Unilocal and confirmed by Elite Construction. Sent out requests for quotes, one never responded, another was booked to July and the third took over a week to get back. Gregory was on it right away and made time around our over-​the-​hill schedule for a job-​walk.
When he showed up, on time, I immediately remembered him from our interior remodel. Gregory proved fun to work with and we clicked right away. He also provided a lot of helping us to pick colors. We are colorfully loud people and we couldn’t be happier with the resulting color combinations. It augments the architecture of the home and has made our Brady Bunch house look modern and brand new.
From a technical aspect, the crew did a great job on the prep. I’m a bit of a stickler with that stuff and my expectations were met. There was one item that didn’t happen as planned and Gregory did the right thing. No push back on the situation, just positive actions to remedy the situation. His crew were conscientious and clean. Good guys who take pride in their work.
For the punch walk on the job, Gregory and I put painters tape on the locations that needed addressed and it was completed next day. All-​in-​all a great experience and it was nice to deal with real professionals.
Our home looks fantastic and it’s sealed up tight for whatever weather comes our way.

After seeing all the rave reviews, it seems almost pointless to add another, but…
I’ve had a few houses painted over the years (exterior) and have dealt with many contractors. Gregory and his crew exceed all the others in every category. Gregory was extremely helpful in guiding us the correct colors; his crew is professional and polite; there is no mess during or after the job; their painting is impeccable.
Gregory suggested that we paint the eves (on a two story house), which had been left a natural wood finish. So, we had them painted and are very happy with the much cleaner look.
Gregory and I did not discuss the natural wood ceiling in the exterior entry way which was badly faded. When his lead painter showed up on painting day #1, he noticed it and suggested that he touch up the stain and refinish it — which he did as part of the job and it looks fabulous.
So, two thumbs up, 5 stars at least, and hire this guy if you need painting done. You will not regret it.

My wife and I were delighted with every aspect of the work of Gregory LeBaron and his crew from Transformational Color in the recent painting of the exterior of our home. Throughout the process Gregory was helpful and professional, including the difficult task of selecting colors appropriate to the style and setting of our house.
In the final, analysis, the best thing that can be said in recommending Gregory is that it felt like he was treating our home as if it were his own rather than just a job… and the good news is that because he is a perfectionist, no shortcuts were taken and special attention to details were always given by him and his crew. (Actually, it was quite pleasant to see a group of well trained folks that obviously took pride in their work.).
And before declaring the painting finished Gregory himself did a careful inspection, including any necessary little touch-​ups to satisfy the perfectionism mentioned above…
Not only are we pleased with the final results, but a number of our neighbors have gone out of their way to be complimentary as well.

Gregory and his team did a stellar job prepping and painting the outside of our larger house. And, we also had major about of decking that was stained too. They came when they said, cleaned up each day and were just extremely pleasant throughout the process. We had a deadline on when it needed to be done by, and they easily met the deadline, even with a surprise couple of days of rain and colder weather.
Definitely would recommend him and his (all women, at least for our job) team!

When I was thinking of painting the exterior of my house, I met with 5 or so different contractors to get different quotes. In the end, I felt the most comfortable with Gregory and what he said he would be able to do, and wisely chose him to paint my house. He and his painters spent a lot of time prepping the house, which is really important — one of the cheaper quotes I got would have had everything done (prepping and painting) in three days, whereas Gregory and his crew spent four or five days just on the prep work! They were very thorough, very professional, and the paint job on my house looks great. As the house was being painted, neighbors who watched the process commented on how impressed they were with the amount of work and the attention to detail that Gregory and his painters put into prepping and painting the house, and now that the job is finished, I have other people in the neighborhood stopping by to comment on the great paint job. Highly recommended — I will pick Gregory and his crew again for any interior work I might need to get done in the future.

Gregory, the house painter, not only does excellent painting, but also cleans up well afterwards. Not only that, he aims to please. He will work with you any way you like. From the beginning, he will ask enough questions so he knows exactly what YOU have in mind for the look you desire inside and outside your home. He is also very innovative and can use mixed media if you so desire. He is also fast but what is most pleasing, is his cheerfulness and attitude of helpfulness. He is also open to negotiations. My husband and I had Gregory help us select full house interior colors for our new West side house. He did a great job guiding us through the process and we ended up with colors that we are thrilled with. He was interested in knowing what we want out our new house, etc… which was a great process. He guided us through conversations that explored our agreements/​disagreements around color and was not afraid to challenge either of us on some of our notions.
This resulted in us going places I would never have predicted with color… I’m thrilled with the outcome and have an absolutely amazing new interior that we move into tomorrow!

In spite of our needing «only» exterior painting, Gregory spent quite a while guiding us in making a decision for the colors and «look» of the front of our house. While we didn’t think we needed artistry, we definitely wanted quality and something we were comfortable with. Gregory did a great job, was thorough and terrific to work with. I feel quite comfortable in recommending him to others who want quality work.
