Went in today around 12 for lunch the two hosts and manager were very friendly our server Marissa was very nice and attentive. And the other server Daisy brought my food out good teamwork and fun environment

I have had better service at Denny’s where they refill your glass without you asking… they bring extra napkins, and do not fill their ice tea or sodas with so much ice that I am paying for a cup of ice and a tiny bit of soda or ice tea at coco’s. this place used to be much nicer many years ago… If you are a waiter or waitress do your job. or go someplace else.

Really poor service… inattentive waitresses, long wait time for food, and one of the orders was incorrect. We ate anyways because we were starving after waiting 30 minutes for food. I thought it was a little amusing that my server could not pronounce«quinoa», instead saying«queen»…and this of course was the dish they messed up and left off the quinoa, replacing it with brown rice pilaf. Long wait times coupled with a lack of service flow, this restaurant is pretty sad. I would recommend going elsewhere. Judging from the number of complaints surrounding the same issues it appears that management doesn’t really care to step up it’s game here.

Bought strawberry pie on a gloomy day to cheer ourselves… what a sad disappointment. Strawberries were old and moldy, taste like eating fungus. So disappointed. I guess that’s it for us buying pies from there.

Love this place. Always great service and nice booths from which you can keep an eye on your car if you need to. Tons and tons of parking. Food is quite good. My go-to place for American-style comfort food.

Daisy is very nice! Cofee is great! I advise sitting by the Windows. Some days the chefs do take a very long time to prepare dishes. But Daisy more than makes up for the wait. One of my favorite places to grab breakfast during the weekday. Plenty of parking. Cozy spot.

I have been out of that neighborhood for more than 20 years. But all I can still remember is one waitress was a racist, she’ll go around and refill coffees on all the white folks and serve them with a smile. But not us, she gave my mother and me with cold and unfriendly demeanor when she served us. My mother was an idiot, she grumbled to me and not complaint to the manager and still gave this racist waitress a tip.? WHATAREWE? UNCLETOM? But then again, the demography of the city of Arcadia 20 years ago was not a place for non-whites to live. It was a racist city and a racist restaurant. So shame on the restaurant and shame on the city! I don’t know if any of these has changed over the past 20 years, but I don’t live there anymore and I couldn’t care less.

Service was slow and food was mediocre. Worst Coco’s I’ve ever been to. Love the Coco’s in Montebello though. Don’t bother coming to this place… keep driving.

So my mom and I came in really quick to get some food. We did get seated within five minutes but it was really cold. We asked for a booth and without hesitant they gave us one. We had a waitress who was sweet but I understood she was busy. We looked over the menu and she came and asked what we wanted. My mom wanted a breakfast and the waitress immediately gave her the menu. We did have to wait a little while for my mom to get her order taken. I went and told the waitress we were ready and she was very polite to let us know she was going on break and she hurried and got the waiter Steven to take over. Steven was super nice and when I asked if he could speed up my moms order so her and I could eat at the same time he was very nice and said it wouldn’t be a problem. Then our other waitress checked up on us and I asked the same thing and she said she made sure to send my order when my moms order was ready to be sent. It overall the service was nice. I don’t recommend if you are trying to get something quick to go but if you are wanting to have a nice meal and sit down that’s better. I got my refills quick and the food had its own unique taste. Not every place is perfect but cocos bakery restaurant was a nice sit down place that was very calm and peaceful. I didn’t feel rushed and I was able to enjoy my meal without a lot of loud noise.

Had a great experience ordering pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving. Our firm needed almost 30 pies for our clients and I personally looked at each one before it was given out. The pies all appeared to be high quality, and Francisco hand-delivered them to us across the street. Special shout-out to Francisco because he gave us a great deal, was extremely easy to work with, and was by far the most professional and helpful individual I’ve worked with so far this holiday season.

One could see that this branch of cocos is trying. Trying to fail. Our car club uses this location because of the central location. It is inconvenient to all. And there is abundant parking so our members can park together. If they have not rented their parking lot A top tip: If you are drinking coffee or tea bring your own spoon as they never have any when you order those drinks. Also yhe coffee is weak, even by chain standards. I was at a meeting at the location on the 20th. It was ok, until it was time to leave and I never got the breakfast ordered when the others ordered. I was told I could have the COLDFOOD when we were leaving. Mediocre food cold, I do not think so. I blame management. They have no clue on follow up, clean up, hiring enough staff, and knowing that the spoon is part of a set up. But do know how to ignore problems. I can just read their mind IFTHEY read this review. It is just one grumpy customer. So if you go be prepared and bring your own spoon.

I have been coming here at least once a week for several years now. Yvette is the best waitress ever! She always has our group’s drink orders ready to go as soon as she sees us, even when the restaurant is busy. The managers there are always nice as well. Compared to the other Coco’s nearby, the food and service are much better. A great place to get a slice of pie and some coffee!

Wow where do I begin! Well let’s start when you get there. The parking lot has room and is ok but then there the entrance which is surrounded by what looks to be an attempt at a garden. When you get inside there are about a dozen gropes of 70+ year olds that you are behind. Thirty minuets pass and you FINALY get to sit down. They bring you the drinks you ordered and they they take your order. Rather it be specific or easy the brain dead chefs will find a way to mess it up I.E. Putting meat into a vegetarian dish or giving you your eggs over easy when you ordered scrambled. You eat your food passively as you watch the old lady in the booth next to you slowly slip into a coma. You Finish your«food» as the friendly wait staff give you your 45+ dollar receipt for two entrée’s and two drinks. As you leave the restaurant you see all of the costumers have just gone through rigor mortis. You get in your car as you ponder the supranational yet intriguing dining experience. As the wind blissfully rolls over the top of your car you pull out of the parking lot to only relies that you can not move, fore when you check into hotel coco’s you may never leave… TWOSTARS

Thursday afternoon. 1:10 pm. Have a taste for breakfast. Been here 4 times in last 3 months. Each time progressively worse service. It is now 1:35 pm. Got my water and green tea… that’s it. No follow up. Must make a lot of money off the senior citizens, especially tips, because they obviously don’t want my business. Server comes at 1:37 to take my order. Right on time, as I was literally about to leave. You’re done in my book, Cocos. This day and age? Not cool.

If I could give zero stars, that is what I would select!!! Went to Coco’s for a mid afternoon lunch — got seated at a table without a wait, which was good. Waited a while before a manager came by and asked what we wanted to drink. Placed our order for an iced tea and a diet coke… she returned with the iced tea and said she would be right back with the diet coke. It was at least another 5 — 10 minutes before a waitress stopped by the table to see what we wanted to drink when we informed her we ordered the diet coke quite some time ago. She left the table and came back with the manager carrying the soda, then they both turned around and left the table again without taking our food order. We waited SEVERAL more minutes while the manager seated 2 elderly women at the table next to us who complained that it was cold and that the air was hitting them. So on the 105 degree day — THEYTURNEDTHEACOFF!!! Unbelievable! Let me also mention — we have finished our drinks and we have STILLNOTHADANYONERETURNTOTAKEOURORDER! When the waitress finally returns to our table with more iced tea we stopped her and told her NO, we are leaving and just want to pay for the drinks! She said we did not need to pay, so we left. Beware, this is the spot for senior citizens or if you like to sweat during your very LONG wait to place an order. We will not be returning.

I’ve had breakfast here and I remember it being pretty darn good, however we had dinner last night and I was completely disappointed. I ordered the avocado chicken rolls which I did not enjoy, chicken tenders as an appetizer; tasted like fozen and rethawed, and a veggie burger which was below average. My rating goes half way for great breakfast experience and less than mediocre dinner experience

Great organic coffee, slow but friendly and inattentive service… more importantly, terrible sunny side up eggs. If it’s going to be that raw, might as well ask if I like my sunny side up «well done»! Their strawberry seasonal waffles were mediocre. Ruined by the eggs, frankly.

The wife, kids, and I had lunch here today with my parents. I have been eating at this Coco’s since I was a kid, so it’s kind of sad to see what is happening here. My dad put it plainly today: this restaurant has been in a downward spiral for years, and now it’s getting bad. Quickly, I want to say that our server today was as attentive as you can be when you’re slammed with tables and a couple of dingbat coworkers don’t show up. She hustled hard, and I felt bad for running her, but she forgot soups and refills and place settings… And we were the nice table. An older couple behind us beat on her like a three-legged sled dog. As mentioned, it seems like this place suffers from the trifecta of(1) Management leveraging quality service against costs,(2) Flakey wait staff no-shows, and(3) decent servers who do show have to deal with customers who get ticked at the thin service, leave crappy tips, and scare off the decent servers! Corners seem to be cut– no colorable kids menus, no crayons, no table tents with suggestions. The kids eat free all day every day translates into much higher prices for adult entrées. The food is ok if you order well– I still like their broccoli soup and burgers and fries are hard to screw up, but the«bowl» of soup has shrunk considerably, and the price has doubled. It is sad to see this place going the way it is… I always liked it here, and I have 30 years of memories at least. All good things come to an end, but you like to see things go out on a high note. Alas, that doesn’t seem to be the picture in the Coco’s crystal ball.

Stopped here after a long day at The LA County Fair. Was greeted immediately. Our server was sweet, I enclosed a photo of her. I’ll start off by saying this location really needs a make over and it shows. It does seem like they did a few things to try to make some changes, however its still lacking. It just doesn’t fill warmly anymore. As for my food, just ordered a Coco’s burger with fries and it also came with a slice of pie, that I took to go. The burger was cooked well and the condiments where portion just right. As I was leaving I did see on the counter that, they are trying to do some catering. There was a menu on the display case.
