Dennis Liu, MD

I have been going to Dr. Liu for a few years now and find him a very caring doctor. He takes time with you and any concerns you have. Dr. Liu and his staff are great.

My insurance changed, so I am no longer able to see my old doctor. Happily, I had the opportunity to visit Dr. Liu when my old GP was away and was so impressed with him that I did not hesitate to make him my GP. Dr. Liu is very thorough and takes his time with you and has a nice bedside manner. He’s in a new office now on Duarte and I think his office staff has changed and I’ve had no problems with them.

Dr Dennis Liu has been my mother’s doctor for over 5 years now. My elderly mother has a lot of health issues. Since I am my mother’s caregiver, I often interact with Dr. Liu often on my mother’s behalf. Dr. Liu is one of the best doctor in the san Gabriel valley. Through the years, our confidence, respect and trust in Dr., Liu continues to grow. Dr. Liu is a competent and caring doctor. My mother never feels rush or neglected. I highly recommend Dr. Liu.

Dr. Liu had been my doctor for 3 – 4 years. I love Dr. Liu, he is friendly, knowledgeable and paid tons of attention to my concerns. But it is the receptionist that I ended up switching doctor. She has never been friendly to begin with. But the last couple times I called to make appointment, she got ruder and ruder. It was beginning of the month, and she said the only time available is at the end of the month. I asked again if there is absoulately nothing available for 3 – 4 weeks?! She replied sarcastically and rudely and almost hanged up on me. I mean, how come, I asked her very politely.
I think they mustn’t pay them that well or the Dr. just doesnt treat his nurses well or something. I called to cancel my appointment few days later, she was still mean and rude. I guess this is the end of it, life is too short! I hope Dr. Liu will replace his receptionist and the nurses otherwise he will lost all his patients.

My new GP. Very nice guy and knowledgeable. I’m glad that I found him in my area. Very nice staff and responsible. They would spend time and follow-​up with you. The office is nice and warm. I like the staff especially, they are very personal and always willing to help. I always say this to my friend, a good doctor needs a good medical team as well, the patient cannot always get a hold at the doctor and they always communicate with the staffs first.

Dr Liu is my new doctor. I called his office today because I’m experiencing some severe pain in my leg. The woman receptionist answered the phone and said that I cannot see the doctor until the end of next week (meanwhile I’m in pain…)
I asked if I can talk to him on the phone any time before then and she said «no, he’ll be too busy with patients»
I then asked what she suggested I’d do and she replied sarcastically «well I guess you should go to urgent care then huh»
My first impression is not good at all. Hopefully the doctor is better than the customer service

I like Dr. Liu. Very patient and personable. He allows you to ask questions and discuss your health. I would recommend him.
