The Hunan pork had way too much broccoli! It didn’t mention that it included that vile weed but that was about 80% of the meal. If you hate broccoli like I do, order something else!

We ordered beef with mixed vegetables and we got a hair(that looks like pubic hair) on it, that was so disgusting, when I called; the stupid guy who answer the phone got mad and hang out on me, because I asked to get my money back… I will never order to that place, not only because of the hair but because of that rude guy.

This place deserves the best Chinese food in the area. I am really careful about the meat used in Chinese food. General Tso’s is my favorite from this place. Their chicken tastes so real!

Food was REALLY good and we enjoyed it. Delivery was very slow but everything was still hot and yummy. Easy ordering on Unilocal was why we tried this place for the first time. I think we’ll try it again in the future.

I’ve only ordered from China House. Being able to order through the Unilocal app is fantastic. Too bad I can’t say the same for the General Tso Chicken here. The chicken was hard and stale and completely unsatisfying. This is a major disappointment for me because that’s my go-to dish. If you don’t care about Gen Tso Chicken, maybe add another star to my review. That’s because the other food I’ve gotten has been good, especially the fried dumplings. Delivery came within about 45 minutes which was within their estimated time.

Had delivery to my location many times before in and all of a sudden they tell me the that my address is wrong, I even googled it to be sure and it came right up no problem, well they lost a customer.

This was my first time ordering from this place, and it received decent reviews on Unilocalso I thought, why not. My neighbor was over and we ordered delivery. We ordered egg rolls, crab Rangoon, kung Pao Chicken dinner, pepper steak dinner and got free spring rolls with order. They delivered within thirty minutes and the driver was super friendly. So the crab Rangoon was just cream cheese, no crab. I hate that, I really appreciate when some small pieces of crab are all up in my Rangoon… Both the free spring rolls and the egg rolls were bland, mostly cabbage and neither had a lot of filling so they were super greasy. However both the dinner meals were on point. Tender beef, slightly crunchy onions and peppers, which I love. Chicken was tender, sauce sweet and sour, not very spicy at my medium request, but still delicious. It did come with a portion of extra sauce, which is nice. Fried brown rice with peas and carrots was good. No pieces of egg in the rice, which is something I enjoy, but no big deal, still good. I recommend entrees, skip the appetizers. Delivery was great also.

Best Chinese takeout ever bar none, these guys rock try it all. Especially the pad Thai! Affordable and delicious! Pro tip: they give free appetizers depending on how much food you order, ask for it, its free!

Can’t really rate the food considering it never showed up. Don’t order food online with China House. They apparently never received my order, despite the fact that I had an order number. When I called to ask about the status of my food they treated me like a lunatic that was making up the internet and online ordering. When I asked if they could just resummit my order and get it to me ASAP, I was hung up on.

It’s Chinese takeout. They usually show up on time, are actually early on occasion, and the food is pretty good. We have had better experiences here than most other places in the area.

Wait, is this Chinese food? Everything is so fresh I almost forgot! We have ordered from our share of Chinese places. Living in the DC area there are too many to count, but once we found this gem we never ordered from anywhere else. Delivery is super fast and the food is always hot. The chicken actually looks and tastes like the chicken I cook for my kids and the veggies are so fresh and not soggy at all.

This restaurant is literally less than 5 min away from my house yet it takes them over two hours to deliver the worst Chinese food I ever had. All I saw in my general ck was carrots! With a few chunks of ck here and there.

Yum. Great takeout service and great delivery service for a little hole in the wall. We ordered sesame chicken, szechuan chicken with lo mein, crab rangoon, spring rolls, hot and sour soup, and fried donuts. The sesame chicken & szechuan chicken were yummy and fresh, the crab rangoon and hot and sour soup were okay, but hot, and the fried donuts were AMAZING. YUMMYFRIEDDONUTS! Plan to order from there again and again :)

They were nice enough to stay open a few minutes past closing when I ordered late one evening. They even offered to deliver. Some places tend not to be so accommodating when their closing time approaches. 3 stars for the nice service, relatively late closing time, and clean shop interior. Foodwise, the chicken broccoli was very bland and drowning in an overly greasy sauce. The veggie fried rice was good but could have used more veggies. The egg in there was a nice touch though. Overall, I enjoyed the rice. Less oily than I was expecting. I doubt I’ll go back unless I want fried rice or noodles delivered at a late hour(aka never). I still don’t get why Chinese fast food is so abysmal in the DMV.

My wife and I decided to mix things up from our usual take out restaurants and try a Chinese place. This restaurant was ranked fairly high on the app I use so we decided to give it a shot. Here’s what we ordered: 2 Vegetable spring rolls 2 Egg rolls General Tso’s Chicken Brocolli in Garlic Sauce The good: they’ve done a fairly good job making sure the menu on the site is accurate and(for the most part) has descriptions of the food. The food was hot when it got to us and was reasonably tasty(for a Chinese place)! The bad: some of the items on the menu(read: vegetarian menu) are a little off base. «Veggie chicken with cashew nuts; veggie kung pao chicken; veggie chicken with broccoli; etc.» You get the idea. Also, delivery took 40 minutes on a Sunday night. I don’t normally complain about such things but the restaurant is literally 5 minutes away. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant to other looking for a good Chinese place in the area and could see us ordering from there again.

I decided to order from this place because they have ordering through Unilocal, which I have never done but figured what the heck and they will take my Amex. So we had order : * Egg Roll $ 1.50 * Egg Roll $ 1.50 * 8 Deep Fried Wontons $ 3.75 * 6 Crab Meat Rangoon $ 3.95 * Chicken with Broccoli Combo Platter $ 8.95 * Happy Family $ 12.95 Then I forgot drinks and I called and they brought and I paid when he brought them. Over all good. I typically order from another place but wanted to try a new place, as with anything when you try new thing and places you are basing it on your other place. The taste was different but good… I will try it again and will look to increase my rating. The service was good, nice to talk to on the phone and easy order through Unilocal. FYI– I was a little mad that there was specials I didn’t see until after I order, like free food(that I paid for) with orders over 35 dollars etc. Check it out and look for ordering though Unilocal

I can only speak to the delivery, but my experience was a solid«good.» I ordered a spring roll, a large wonton soup, combo lo mein, and the general tsao chicken with fried rice on the side. The wonton soup was definitely my favorite– I’ve had such a hard time finding any with good broth in Arlington. The wonton filling itself was delicious and had just the right balance of flavors. The spring roll was solid and the lo mein was good without being too greasy and had just the right mix of veggies, meat, and noodles. My pet lo mein peeve is when they bulk up on noodles and have almost no meat, so that passed the test. The general tsao and fried rice were meh. Not spectacular, not bad. I ate it. I think it was the sauce– it was a little too much sour and the chicken itself was fairly dry, although I appreciated that it wasn’t overly breaded. The service itself was great– incredibly quick and well within the estimate. Overall, given the relative lack of good chinese food in Arlington I would order from here again.

I’ve ordered twice, but the same thing each time: spring rolls, steamed chicken and vegetables, white rice, and wonton soup. The food is OK. Nothing wrong with the steamed chicken and vegetables, but I don’t care for the black bean sauce. The spring rolls are greasy and not flavorful. Wonton soup is fine, but in a beef broth, which I don’t like. But I’d order the chicken dish again, and just ask for extra soy sauce. Unfortunately, China House is one of the few Chinese places to deliver to Pentagon City(my favorite, Sichuan Wok, does not).

Had delivery with my family on a movie night in. Decent and very predictable Chinese food delivery that arrived right on time. Large portions and strong fast foody flavors, though not amazing and not authentic. Order here if you are in the area and want cheap Chinese fast food, but don’t go out of your way to come here. We had: — Sesame beef — seems similar to General Tsao’s with a similarly thick brown sauce and heavily breaded meat. You couldn’t really taste the beef. The beef layer was thinner than the breading layer. — Moo goo gai pan — normal clear sauced mild chicken with veggies. The broccoli was tasty(though gooey) but the baby corn tasted a little weird. — Mu shu pork — normal. Stir-fried meat and veggies that you wrap up like a burrito with a brown sauce. Was mildly flavorful. — Shrimp with garlic — the shrimp was big and it had a nice subtle kick to it. There were many other veggies and the garlic was not obvious. — Crab rangoons — very heavily fried with not much filling and a microscopic amount of «crab» — Wonton soup — just a soup base with doughy wontons that easily fall apart to reveal a not very appetizing clump of meat. That being said, I’m not much into fast food to begin with. This place is just like any other mediocre Chinese delivery place, so don’t worry too much about my critiques.
