I have used Condor Moving 3 time in the last 4 yrs. Every time they have been very professional and on-​time with everything. Amit was on top of each every move. Great Guy!
The mover, Jesse and Jim. I have requested for my last 2 movers. They are the BEST! Request them. They will take good care of your stuff.
This is the #1 Moving Company! I would not use any other.

I moved from Fort Worth TX to Rochester NY in May 2015. I had done my fair amount of research before selecting a moving company. There were plenty of companies that were offering services for few hundred dollars less than Condor but what made them stood apart was that they were the only full service company unlike most others. I see plenty of negative reviews on these guys about how customers were given surprise charges after the final estimate upon the date of moving. Here is the thing, be prepared with all your stuff and do NOT add additional items to your move because that will end up in higher costs. For example, I had been quoted an amount for my entire 1 bedroom apt move which included, Full living room and bedroom set. I included my mirror as well but I did not PACK it for safety therefore condor charged me extra for it. Guess what? It was on me, it was my responsibility and I agreed to the extra amount.
Upon arrival of my stuff 15 days after, Everything was in place except for my coffee table legs. The mover told me that it was his mistake and he will find them for me along with the rest of the remaining delivery and ensured he will mail them to me through FEDEX. I got the legs a week later, no biggie, and that is the only REASON I’m giving condor 4 stars instead of 5.
The arrival transaction was smooth as expected, the movers were really helpful in making sure they get everything right the first time without damaging anything. the first 12 or 13 steps (not sure now) are free for 2^nd floor movers, and after that you WILL pay additional. Read the terms of conditions and you won’t have any issues.

I do not recommend this company… I was quoted a reasonable rate but as soon as the movers came they were adding on additional fees and weight because I was under quoted for the weight and was not told about the fee for using a card and not a money order. The person who picked up my items was very rude to me and when I asked if he would come back and help me move some items he said he would try, then left and didn’t answer any of my phone calls. I had to hire someone else to move the additional items down to the dumpster — I was going to pay the condor movers cash on the side but they decided just to leave and ignore my calls which made me think that all my stuff was stolen never to be seen again. After explaining this to the customer service rep at the office he apologized and waived the credit card fee but said they do not move items not included in the move.
Also, my items were in storage and they did not explain that The monthly storage fee starts on the first and any days remaining from the date from your move you will be charged 12 $ per day. Which makes your monthly rate a lot higher.
Condor did let me add 3 additional boxes to my move with no charge since I raised hell from all of the additional charges, BUT they ended up losing a box of mine and when my boxes were delivered all of the boxes were damaged and had some missing items. I was told to file a claim but come to find out you have to pay a $ 500 deductible to get any money back. I have lost valuable irreplaceable items and was not reimbursed any money whatsoever.
This company caused me a lot of stress, excess additional charges, and damaged and lost items. I do not recommend this company at all. Please review before choosing them. BEWARE!

Beware!!! Prices will go up drastically from your initial estimate! There will be hidden charges when they drop off your things.
I usually don’t write bad reviews, but this company needs to be held accountable. The pick up crew was great, but don’t expect the same crew if you’re moving long distance. They promise to call 24 hours ahead of drop off, but they «forgot» to call me to tell me they were delivering that evening.
The driver of the drop off crew got lost. Twice. I had to drive around and find him. He was rude and called me every ten minutes to ask if he was close. I told him I was new to the area and couldn’t help him. I had to call his boss and get him directions from the home office, because he was too angry to admit defeat and call himself. He was two hours late, and called every ten minutes of those two hours to tell me I was ridiculous for not knowing the city I just moved to. He threatened to raise my bill because he was wasting gas and time looking for me, he threatened to just leave and never deliver my things, and he insisted that I come drive around and «look for him».
After I lead him back to my apartment, he tells me it’s an extra $ 250. In cash. After arguing that, I still had to go and get cash. I was gone ten minutes, the driver texted me and said he was leaving. He couldn’t wait around anymore, even though he knew I was around the corner at the atm.
When I get back home, the driver is yelling at me and calling me names in Spanish, all the while threatening to leave my things on the curb. After I called his manager, and he yelled for another ten minutes, he agreed to move my things in.
I get everything unpacked, and all of my dishes are broken. My night stand, bookshelf, and entertainment center were broken. My boxes were all torn and open, and the ones labeled fragile were all upside down. Every piece of glass I owned is broken.
Please think twice before using this place.

DO NOT… I repeat, DO NOT use Condor Movers. We moved from the Houston area to Washington DC about 5 months ago. We chose Condor because their representative lead us to believe that they were one of the most reputable movers in the are which included full replacement value for any damaged items. The move was a disaster from the start. The movers showed up and proceeded to pack and tag our items. Little did we know that another team with the truck had to arrive separately. The second team wound up arriving almost 5 hours later than the time we were told which meant that they were there until almost midnight packing up our house. When we arrived in DC we told Condor that the complex we were moving into had restrictions for when trucks could be on the premises, 8 am-​5 pm. Of course, the same moving team was late… AGAIN. Additionally, the complex restricted the size of the truck which meant that the movers needed to bring a large truck and park it outside the complex and transfer the load to a smaller truck. All of this was made clear far in advance and we were told that it wasn’t uncommon in the DC area. Since the movers arrived late, everything was unorganized. That coupled with the fact that the movers themselves were unprofessional and subpar made for a disaster. Once the movers emptied the first load, we were told that they were going back for the second. An hour and a half and they still weren’t back. My husband drove out to the truck to find the movers sitting and laughing in the truck. And by the way, it was now past 3:30 pm. To make matters worse, the movers showed little to no care with our items. I walked out and actually saw one of them throw a box marked «FRAGILE» off of the truck. When he saw me he tried to play it off but by then we were beyond frustrated. And to add insult to injury, I was just informed that the over $ 2,000 of damage caused by these shady movers has all been denied for various reasons. We will most certainly be filing a grievance with the BBB and whomever else we can find. But if my review can spare someone else the time loss, financial loss and frustration then I will be happy.

Well it looks like reading the reviews that you have a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ chance of a good or horrible experience! Either 5 stars or 1 – 0 stars! I myself lived next door to an employee and had the best experience with the pick up. HOWEVER don’t expect your belongings to arrive with the same care they were packed with unless it’s the same team! Local I can’t comment on, but across state or country it’s simple choose another company!

I chose Condor due to the great personality of the scheduler Maj, she really took the time to understand my needs when I was trying to narrow down which company to hire. Maj, went above and beyond when I needed to change my pick up to an earlier date and when I added more to items to my move. Tony and the crew who packed my home were so polite and worked very efficiently. They had my three bedroom home packed and in the truck in under two hours! I’m glad I chose Condor.

Be aware of this company. Price change during delivery period without any notice and if you don’t pay they won’t load also no any response after complain.

Moving a 4300+ sqft home from one end of the country to another is no small feat. This was a major undertaking, but everyone @ Condor rose to the occasion and delivered with exceptional professionalism. From Maj in the office who helped answer every question, to Tony & crew who carefully packed everything, and then Jose and Saul who drove across the country and then unpacked it all and put our furniture together… This is a job which requires super-​human abilities, and every one of these guys is truly a super-​man.
No move will go 100% perfectly; something may break and delays could happen here and there… For us, we experienced very few issues and they were insignificant. For all complainers out there, this is a tough industry; I’d say certainly one of the toughest out there. After seeing the Condor crew in action, I have nothing but utmost respect for this line of work and for the guys who choose to do it.

Moving cross country is incredibly stressful. It’s an emotional process and finding the right movers is hard. Emit at Condor made certain that I was taken care of throughout the process and after. He gave me his personal cell phone and worked hard to ensure I was satisfied and that I knew what was going on. He is proud of his business and cares about his clients. Working with Emit was pleasurable and professional.

This summer when my husband landed his dream job in Seattle, we knew we didn’t want to move out our 4-​bedroom house in Dallas and travel with it for almost 3,000 miles. This was our first experience with hiring movers. Hubby had to move almost immediately after receiving his job, so I handled most of the move logistics myself. Now, I had no idea what I was doing. I talked to soooo many moving companies. I had six come out to the house to give me an estimate, but emailed and talked over the phone with a lot more than that. Since I didn’t know a whole lot about moving companies, I figured I’d learn something with everyone I talked with… I wasn’t just being crazy… right?
When Condor came to do my home estimate, they were the first company that came out that I actually liked. They were personal, friendly, and they generally cared about their clients. Amit, who came out for the estimate, gave me a lot of moving advice that none of the other companies would even skim through. I felt completely comfortable and at ease with him and Condor. Since hubby was gone, that was huge bonus.
Forward a few weeks and we’re at the weekend of the move. My move was scheduled for Saturday, August 1. I closed on my house the day before, my nephew was being baptized on Sunday, and I had to be out of the house on Monday. Friday rolls around and I get a call saying that they are behind schedule… but instead of moving my move date, which they could have easily done (and I feel like any other company would have), the owner of the company grabbed a few of their warehouse guys and came out and moved me just so I could get moved on Saturday. I was so impressed with this level of customer service. They truly just want to make their clients happy.
Now on to delivery. Our items arrived in the window of time they estimated. The driver called us about 24 hours before they arrived (as promised). They unloaded everything in about two hours asking exactly where we wanted everything. We did have a couple damages — nothing major, but Condor covers your items 100 percent so we’re not worried about it and due to their high level of customer service, I know that we’ll be taken care of. And really, we moved almost 3,000 miles away and these guys are awesome.
I strongly recommend Condor to anyone who is moving. They made the process so much easier. The communication was great — even when I called five times in a week to change items on our quote. The customer service was excellent. They packaged everything so well. Contact Condor, you won’t be sorry!

Great moving experience. I gave the agent my true account of what I needed to move from TX to CA, I packed my items. The movers came on time, loaded the truck quickly and with care. There were no hidden fees and they were very competitive. My daughter received all her items as promised without any problems. I’d highly recommend this company!

I hired Condor Moving for my move from Texas to California. At the beginning I was really upset because they did not come on time, but in the end my move was pleasant. The guys were very quick and efficient in their packing and moving. One of the owners actually came with the moving team to apologize for the delay. The business attitude was very sincere.

Mario was able to answer ALL of my many many emails as I am very particular about my possessions. Condor systems had a great pricing structure that was fair and mitigated my risk. Mario was prompt with phone calls and absolutely understanding when it came time to cancel due to a family emergency. A FULL REFUND was even extended to me.
Upon writing this review, I feel that negative people spend time writing about poor experiences FAR more than people who enjoyed their service will do. A lot of reviews do not give credit to what I know would have been a trustworthy experience.
The positive reviews I did read seemed to fit with my impression of Condor; provide them with correct information, communicate clearly, lay out your expectations and keep a good feedback loop open. Things will go smoothly. I had over 5 emails just about what a «Medium Box» is; ALL were answered promptly.

At first the company seemed very caring and professional… after the deal was booked people fell off the map and things were so scattered and unorganized.
I never could get answers from them. The people who delivered our stuff were super shady and asking personal questions. The guys who picked up our stuff were great, wish we were dealing with them on the delivery end.
We had two sets of plates broken and other items that can not be replaced.
I do not recommend this company to anyone. Spend the extra couple of hundred dollars more to go with a better company…

These by far were the best movers I have had. I started the process with Maj who is wonderful and is always ready to answer any question or request. She’s quick on responses and is easily contacted. She took the worry I had of coordinating this move. Then it got even better. Mario contacted me to let me know they were on their way. They showed up timely WHILE IT WAS SNOWING IN TEXAS!!! Who can do that?! The driver, Scott, showed up at the same time with his 18-​wheeler. All of the guys introduced themselves to me and started accessing the move. We went room by room to see what was going and staying. Mario told me I had done great at packing and to relax because they had this move under control. That helped my nerves because my move is out of Dallas, Texas to Greeneville, Tennessee. They took care of all of my worldly possessions and moved efficiently. They were chatting with me and putting me at ease. They were wonderful at stacking (Patrick) and quick! The ramp for them to the truck was icy but we added salt and they kept moving. Before I knew it, I was signing my bill of lading and I looked outside. They were done. I had a slight moment of panic to see all of my belongings packed. They put me at ease again and said everything was fine. Scott assured me that he would take care of everything and see me in Tennessee. He was prepared to lay blankets down as I have nothing but tile and wood floors at my new place. Something that was to take 5 – 10 business days three calendar days!!! That was without an expedited move. I will report more on the other side but I am expecting continued greatness! I HIGHLY recommend these movers. My next move out of Tennessee will be with Condor!!!

We are returning customers and would not trust are belongings with any other moving company.
I initially found Condor online, I think, and the representative (Sandy) was very professional and patient answering all my questions. After further research, I decided to schedule our move with Condor because I liked the price& 3 men trucks. The first moved went wonderfully and the two guys who moved us were very quick and respectful of our things. The movers arrived on time but were a man short. Initially, I was a bit disappointed. After the manager assured me that him and his co-​worker were experienced, worked fast and would give us a discounted rate, I was all smiles!
Obviously, I was pleased with their service and a year later called them (Mario) to schedule our next move. The weekend we moved the weather was horrible and was supposed to ice later in the evening. My husband and I were really anxious to move into our new apartment and were considered about the weather. But the Condor guys arrived on time, worked hard, and we were relaxing on our bed at our new place before the ice came down. We couldnt predict the weather when booking but Condor proved to us we can depend on them.
The team is respectful, pleasant and professional. They arrive on time, prepared and work quickly. Call them for your next move, I know we will!!!

Please think twice. My representative (Mario) seemed so professional and sincere on the phone. When things started getting questionable with the company as promised fell through and prices continued to rise, I never heard from Mario again.
I was bombarded by mindless automated emails that requested information they already had or additional signatures they already had. Basically communication fell apart.
I was guaranteed by Mario that Condor could beat the price I was quoted by «PODS» — where I had my household goods stores.
The short version of the story is that I needed up paying about 20−30% more than the PODS quote even after I flew to TX to sell and give away at least half of the items in the «PODS» container.
One more example of the lack of professionalism on the part of Condor is that they constantly tried avoid using credit cards as payment because they didn’t want to pay the merchant surcharge to the credit company. In this day and age? That is just a cost of doing business.
I was told I would have at least 24 hours notice before my items were delivered. I received 12 hours notice.
The driver at delivery was pleasant and professional, but arrived alone. He had no crew to move my items in to storage. I ended up having to help him with the larger items that one person could not safely move. Some items arrived damaged. I’m not optimistic about being treated fairly when or if I am reimbursed for damages.

We recently moved (12÷23÷14) and had a lot more stuff than what we thought. My husband, friends, and family members packed a POD and a mid sizes UHaul meticulously full!
Since we were only moving 10 miles away, we figured we would move ourselves, but after seeing how much stuff we had and it being so close to Christmas, we opted for movers to help us unload.
I found Condor on Unilocal and gave them a call. The woman I spoke with, Maj, was so helpful and reassuring, as I questioned some of the bad reviews.
The guys called us before they showed up and were so great and professional. The supervisor was there and was great, but made me feel a little rushed, that’s why I didn’t give 5 stars. Overall, great experience and great company!

If I could give zero stars, I would. The actual movers are nice and helpful, but the people who «organize» the move are absolutely horrible. They lied about when my stuff was supposed to leave. They LIED and/​or did not even know where my stuff was for over a week! AND my stuff arrived a week and a half late.
They either ignored my calls or were useless when they did answer. I moved 1,000 miles away from home and didn’t have any of my things when I need them.
I DO NOT recommend this company if you plan on moving.
