Holiday Inn Arlington NE – Rangers Ballpark

I enjoyed my stay at this Holiday Inn.
Pros: Nice room, amazing staff, free parking, and free shuttle to Six Flags. The staff was courteous to each person that entered the lobby. A member of the staff even helped us avoid the service fees by purchasing the Six Flags tickets in advance at the front desk.
Cons: No complimentary continental breakfast and inability to use the pool/​jacuzzi area. The jacuzzi area was FULL of unattended children at ALL times of the day. I’m sure this isn’t the case when kids are in school so I can’t really blame the hotel. But I booked this particular hotel because of the indoor jacuzzi.

Nice hotel. I was stuck here courtesy American Airlines. Have to say, they could have done me worse (not that AA didn’t try).
Room was clean and quiet, even though the floor seemed noisy when I was in the hallway.
The restaurant/​bar was nice — decent service and food.
Courtesy shuttle to– and from– the airport, which was *really* good, given how confusing that place is to navigate.
I did not spend enough time here to try out any extras like the exercise room or the pool, but they looked decent from the doorway.
Should AA strand me again, I’ll be happy to stay here again.

I stay at Holiday Inn because I can be certain the quality of the room. This Holiday Inn was a nice surprise of modern, clean, friendly and close to many attractions. The morning breakfast was nice. Many restaurants very close if you want to eat outside the hotel. I would recommend this Holiday Inn to anyone visiting Arlington or Ft Wort!

I’m going to give this place a generous 2 star rating. The Hotel gets 3 stars, but the bar and dining area only get 1 star.
For the room, the beds were comfortable, the interior was upgraded, and overall the place looked nice. The air conditioning worked well, place was quiet, and allowed me to sleep well.
Now for the juicy stuff. The staff were obviously over worked in the bar /​restaurant. The same person in the bar at midnight was there working in morning at 5:30am.
Our group had informed the Inn people would be coming over for food and drinks after a work party nearby. They told them they’d keep the bar open until 2am. We attempted to play pool with the broken pool sticks having the tips broken off. The one barely usable pool stick actually fell apart during a game while we shared the stick between players. The workers then came around and turned off all the tvs around the pool table. Now, I love football, especially college football, and we were watching some important games which would determine who would go to which bowl game. Not cool!
Which reminds me, it started getting hot in the building and we asked if they could please turn on the air conditioning. They pretty much ignored our requests so we had to go outside to cool down. Then we asked if we could order some pizza to eat while we played pool and had drinks. They told us the kitchen was closed. So we promptly ordered 8 pizzas for delivery only to be told we couldn’t eat them in the restaurant, but had to crowd into the hallway and eat them there. To cap off the night, the bartender complained that we were supposed to have more people at the bar that night and that she was going to have to close it down earlier than we wanted to. Essentially we were denied pool, denied air conditioning, denied food, and denied a place to hang out. Frankly, I’m surprised I could drink there!
But wait, there’s more! Breakfast the next morning. Yeah, I know what you’re thinking… you went back? Yeah, I was hungry and they promised me a free meal with our room reservation. We ordered and waited, and waited, and waited 45 minutes! The food was good but 45 minutes to cook up some sausage and eggs. Come on. The waitress was the same from bartending the night before who had a 45 minute drive each way to and from work. Yeah, she complained to us about her job. Poor lady is over worked. She only got 4 hours of sleep the night before. Maybe they should let her sleep at the hotel with those kind of hours, or hire some more help!
Don’t eat here. Do yourself a favor and walk across the parking lot to IHOP. I haven’t been to that one in particular, but I’m sure it will be a better dining experience even without the pool, football, and air conditioning.

I have stayed in hotels all over the United States… lots of them holiday inn. This one is the worst… Ac made noise all night long. The place is in bad condition. Pillows are worn out, the bed had a cheap liner on it that bunched up… All of the holiday inns I have stayed at have been remodeled. This one looks bad. Room number was 231. Tile in the stairwell is cracked up… The lady’s working there were nice. My experience was more like motel 8… Not worth the 165.00, maybe 65.00

I know it’s supposed to be in a great location by Six Flags, Cowboys stadium and Rangers’ field, but that’s all they have going. This was the most disappointing check in I’ve experienced in a long time. Ladies at front desk were not friendly at all, and looked like we were bothering them, and we didn’t ask for anything at all other than just trying to check in. The first room they sent us to had a king bed instead of two queens, then the second room had stuff everywhere (bed unmade, water bottles, towels on bathroom floor, etc). Toilet was leaking, not much water pressure in the shower.
The two gentlemen covering the front desk the next morning almost denied me a late checkout (all I wanted was an extra hour), saying the hotel was booked; parking lot was empty. $ 160 I can’t get back. Urgh.

This is the nicest Holiday Inn that I’ve ever stayed at. I would say it may be the nicest Holiday Inn, in the USA. My room was beautiful and for 99 dollars a night… sorry that cannot be beat. Awesome location to things in the area.
The people that worked here were so friendly, from the bartenders to the front desk and shuttle service… you name it, they were awesome. I’m sure the fact that I was in Texas had something to do with the hospitality factor, but I was impressed.
There is an indoor pool, sadly I was not aware of this and never used it. A total blunder, I swear I looked at their website, and did not see a pool?

Loud, waste of space over high ceilings. Everything echos. Only one way road to the hotel. Traffic wasn’t too bad. Took backroads around Arlington. Very fancy lobby, rooms, just too loud, even during the week with just business travelers. The echos & very thin walls are completely unacceptable for a newly build hotel.

About the best Holiday Inn i’ve stayed at in years. 42″ flat screens in all rooms. but with all the construction around it. it can be tricky to get to.

About 2 miles from Six Flags Over Texas!
Added bonus I loved was the refridgerator and microwave in the room. Especially since most standard rooms nowadays do not have it.
Room felt clean and everything worked. Automated wake up call was on time and great.
Hotel was booked through priceline.

My stay at this hotel was very pleasant. The name «Holiday Inn» does not always conjure a great image but this hotel was to the contrary.
There was construction around the front of the hotel, which made it a tiny bit harder to find the entrance. That was the only problem we had during our stay.
The rooms are clean, very modern. The lobby was beautiful and the staff was friendly.

I really like this hotel. It’s very clean, the rooms are large, the beds are comfy, the water is hot (and the pressure is good).
There isn’t a free continental breakfast, but sometimes if you just ask you can get a breakfast voucher if you’re there on business.
The first night I was there I pulled the iron out to iron my work clothes for the next day and the iron had some corrosion or something on it. I asked for a new one and got it with no problem.
The staff is friendly and the attached restaurant has some delicious breakfast options.
