My family likes the dentist very much – she is sweet, personable, and thorough. Unfortunately, my low rating is due to the unprofessional and rude treatment I received from the office manager. After a routine cleaning and checkup, she told me I owed $ 70. I told her my insurance would cover it. She said she would check on it, but she did NOT. Instead, she sent a bill for $ 35. She refused to call the insurance company because she insisted that HER information was correct; I had to get THEM to call HER. I also requested a call from the dentist regarding some questions I have. The office manager insisted that SHE, herself, could help me with my questions. I told her, 3 TIMES, I wanted a call from the DENTIST. The office manager insisted on knowing what I wanted to talk to the doctor about. Either my request was never relayed to the dentist, or, the dentist does not make herself accessible to her patients, which I do not believe is the case. Either way, because of the doctor’s incompetent, discourteous employee, I will be looking for another dental care provider after I file a complaint with the BBB.
