The food is amazing and the owner is sooo kind. I didn’t have a lot of experience in Mediterranean food, but I’m a loyal diner here as of late! They treat you like family and always have a smile on their faces, which is great because I’m a sucker for good customer-service. Obsessed. I regularly have cravings for the chicken shawarma now

Fresh and delicious. Great service. They gave great recommendations on meal combinations. The hummus was fresh and creamy wth a mild oil drizzled over it. My side sauce was a garlic powerhouse. For he main dish I enjoyed some fresh hot falafel. Tiny, tasty and crispy, these paired well with the pita wedges. The food came out hot and fast. The owner came to the table to make sure all was well. And, it was.

I went to Tiba after seeing the positive reviews. They were spot on. The place was clean, including the kitchen. It’s right over the counter so it’s all visible all the time. The guy running the place was friendly and helpful with info on the food. I had the gyro and it was delicious. I picked it up about 10 minutes before closing and I asked if that was ok and he said«sure, no prob!» but I took it to go. The gyro had a nice balance of meat and lettuce, tomato, onion, and sauce. Bottom line: delicious, clean, affordable, and fast. I’ll definitely be stopping by again.

Excellent food and service to match!!! Would recommend this place to anyone who loves middle eastern food. I absolutely detest tomatoes and the food was so good I ate them too!

Very average food: all I could taste in the Falafel side was pepper. All I could taste on the meat in my Shawarma sandwich was pepper. Do they buy ground pepper in bulk at this place? What about the other crucial flavors? And my personal pet peeve: limp fries(they come with a sandwich whether you want them or not and I said no) Owner is friendly: think the son was working there too, also very friendly. I’ll pass on this place in the future.

This is the best find I’ve had in a long time! My girlfriend and I eat at Mediterranean, Greek, & Lebanese restaurants all the time and this place has the best food I’ve encountered hands down! I can guarantee they have one of the best gyros on the planet. Order the«Tiba Grill Gyro» how it comes and be amazed!

You can tell the food is freshly made and the ingredients are good. Great for lunch. I got the chicken shawerma plate with rice, hummus, and the yogurt cucumber sauce. My least favorite part was the yogurt sauce but that was just a personal opinion because I don’t care for mint-it has some mint in it it tasted like. The chicken was very flavorful. The hummus was great with a few whole chickpeas on top and some olive oil, which tasted to be of good quality.

I had the chicken kabobs with a side of beef shawarma. The beef was so tender and flavorful not dry at all. The chicken was moist and full of seasoning. You won’t be disappointed when you come here. I will definitely come back again and again. Oh… yeah get the hummus mmmmm mmmm good!

I was having a hardcore craving for koobideh when I decided to stop in here, and although I didn’t get what I was looking for, I was *not* unsatisfied. I could see from the menu that their specialties were the shawerma and gyro meats, so I decided to go with a chicken shawerma plate. Like other reviews mention, they cook it up fresh right in front of you while you wait(I was in and out in less than 10 minutes total). The lovely man at the counter(owner, I’m assuming?) was so friendly and kind — he asked me how I found out about the shop and when I told him Unilocal he actually told me about the check-in coupon and waited while I got it up on my phone! He then packaged up my to-go order meticulously and securely and sent me on my way in a great mood. I didn’t last until I got home… I ripped open my lovingly packaged order and inhaled some in the parking lot, haha. The only item I disliked was the baba ghanoush which I got free with the Unilocal check-in, but it was just a different style than I am accustomed to, it wasn’t *bad* per se. Highlight of the whole meal: the baklava! I need to ask him next time if they make it in-house because it was so nice! It was a substantial piece with a hearty amount of filling!

The food was good. Service is very friendly. There is a lot of Mediterranean restaurants right now in Arlington. Tiba Grill is just one of them, not better and not worth.

Went there today for lunch and for the first time, my Unilocaler friend recommended. It was so good, has gyro plate with baba ganoush, the owner recommend tahina sauce. OMG that was good. Pita breads came warm and soft. You gotta try Baklava(of course) wasn’t disappointed. Meet expectation. Thank you.

Oh man, that’s some delicious food! Arlington has a growing number of Mediterranean food options, the latest of which is the Tiba Grill. We came on a Saturday for lunch and found the place completely empty, to our benefit because we had the exclusive attention of the owner. It’s obvious that he enjoys what he does, as he took quite a bit of time with us to describe the food options and allow us to sample sauces. I enjoyed being around a restaurant owner who takes pride in the quality of food. We ordered the Gyro sandwich and Beef Shawerma plate with sides of Hummus and Tahina sauce. The Gyro was very good and the Shawerma was excellent. Fresh lemonade was also a winner. Add a clean dining room, personal service, and I hope that the Tiba Grill is around for a long time!

Really nice folks running this place, and the food is very good as well. It was pretty quiet on Friday lunch, hopefully as word gets out it will get busier. It could have been the rain though. Anyway… I had a chicken shawarma sandwich with fries, my husband had a gyro sandwich with fries. The chicken shawarma was good, pretty comparable to what I was expecting. The fries were also good, fresh, just the right crispness. They do put a lot of paprika type seasoning on them; I think I’d ask for them w/o seasoning next time but my husband likes the seasoning. He loved his gyro sandwich. Said it was one of the better gyros he’s had, with big chunks of meat and very fresh tasting. I will have to try next time. The lunch special prices are very good. Prices on the regular menu are a little higher than some, a little lower than others. There isn’t a lot of ambience but this isn’t a place you go for ambience, it’s a place you go for some great food. My rating may go up as I try some of their other options like the hummus & babaganoush by which I really can effectively compare Tiba to other local places. But we did like the food, and the service. The owner was happy to see new faces and made us feel welcome, and came by afterwards to make sure we enjoyed everything. Thumbs up!

This is one of the best finds in the metroplex. I hope you really look at the photos as you’ll see it’s a super simple menu designing a tremendous range of combinations and after trying several of them, I guarantee that this is going to be a local hotspot moving forward. If you work at MCA this really should be a new destination for lunch. The worst photo was trying to show you just how clean the kitchen really is. Everything is done right in front of the diners and cooked to order the salad items are bought fresh that day crisp clean and the salad dressing combination with the garlic olive oil, give me a trough. The gyro meat is actually cooked and cut thick enough so that you can actually tasted instead of it being a burnt ember. The flavors tremendous I would strongly recommend having it on the Greek salad where they don’t skimp on the olives or the feta cheese you’re in for a real treat. The beef plate is a rich full flavored dish that has good heat but not too spicy for those with a sensitive palette the rice is even flavorful and when you talk about having a choice of sides without a doubt, The baba ghanouj and cucumber salad are phenomenal pairings. The cucumber salad is creamy yet light a perfect taste and texture balance to the spicier beef dish, while the baba ghanouj is that smoky rich taste that you want from a roasted eggplant. Additionally they put whole chickpeas in the dish, and adds another interesting taste/textural variation. Gus the owner/chef/everything is truly dedicated to the quality of the dishes as you see the photo of him and his son ringing in the lunch bill. He personally comes over to each of the tables greeting people warmly ensuring that they have a tremendous experience providing little extras like a garlic aioli that was so richly infused with garlic flavor, that I truly could’ve eaten dirt with the aioli and it would’ve been enjoyable. Price point depending on what you order anywhere from the $ 6 to $ 12 range. The table next to me was having chicken dishes, and we exchanged it for Cavicchia I don’t want to speak to the chicken dish because I didn’t have the full dish, but you could see the moisture come out of the chicken and the flavor was magnificent.

I was in the area the other day and a gyro sounded excellent for lunch. I decided to stop in Tiba Grill for a quick bite. During lunch, Tiba Grill has a great lunch special, a gyro, side and a drink for $ 6.99, how could you resist that? I ordered at the counter and sat down and waited for me order to be delivered to my table. I ordered the gyro with a side of rice instead of French fries. I have to say the gyro was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. the meat was so tender and had grilled onions and green peppers. YUMMY! The restaurant hasn’t been open very long. While I was there they had a brisk take out business, mainly from all the hospital personnel in the area. I can’t wait to return again real soon and explore additional menu items.

Yasin is absolutely right about both the quality and cleanliness of this place! Walked in to employees cleaning the walls and scrubbing part of the kitchen. Ordered a shawarma sandwitch in Arabic… no I didn’t have to note that but I like to brag… anyhow lol the shawarma sandwich was not too packed with unnecessary things like some other places with lesser quality meat do. When your meat is done right you don’t have to do that and this place does it right! The flavor explosion will kick your tastebuds in the face and punch them silly. Lemon, garlic, sumac, salt peper, the right amount of spices and marination time make this meat tender, flavorful, and juicy a full quality shewarma, and in case you eat Halal or kosher, theyve got you covered!
