What can I say that hasn’t been said already. I love the yogurt, but the staff here is totally incompetent. They are the most dry faced group of teenagers I have ever encountered in a fast food environment and I live in DC so that tells you a lot. I have come there on more than one occasion and have been unable to make a purchase because they were out of yogurt, yes OUTOFYOGURT at a yogurt place. They don’t do upkeep to the topping, so often times they look like they have been played over by toddlers or the fruit looks like it has seen betters days. To the owner: I really wish they would fire that whole crew and start over. These people are going to put you out of business.

THEWORSTCUSTOMERSERVICE in the whole entire mall. The young girls that run the store are inexperienced, RUDE and arrogant. These girls need a serious customer service training!!! This is my 5th time and all 5 experiences were disappointing. This is my last visit to Yogen Fruz at Pentagon Mall.

I decided on their«Tropical Storm» smoothie after glancing at the minimal and boring topping selection for frozen yogurt. You have a choice of non-dairy and dairy for frozen yogurt. I asked for dairy and my smoothie turned out bland and icy. I’m guessing it had something to do with the mix of freeze-dried fruit and blandness of the yogurt. Blah, taste was non-existent and product was unsatisfying. Price: Pricey for the quality you get. I was also forced to get the regular-sized cup after they announced that they had ran out of their small-sized cups. Service was indifferent and run by miserable, inexperienced teenagers, but I probably shouldn’t expect much considering it is located inside a mall. I had heard that their yogurt was bland, and after trying it myself, the verdict remains the same.

yogurt is bland — not rich or creamy — ok if you are craving yogurt and the only place in that area for it minus a star — service — they are pretty indifferent minus a star — taste

Disgusting. I ended up throwing up in the middle of the night after having their medium blubbery shake earlier in the evening. Won’t go back again.

Not a big fan of their blended yogurt. It doesn’t taste as rich or creamy as the other places. There was something about that also tasted artificial. This place is like the Smoothie King of yogurt places. Bearable if there’s nothing else around, but not a conscious choice.

This is solely a review of the Pentagon City Location. I will start by saying that the yogurt itself is pretty decent, similar to what you could find elsewhere, yet that is not my issue. I have rarely experienced a place so unprepared for their day to day business. I have gone there in the past and had them say that they aren’t accepting cards(credit or debit), another time they had absolutely no change and therefore couldn’t accept cash, they have been out of several standard menu items, and the workers are generally uninformed to a point that my simple questions couldn’t be clearly answered. You may ask why I’ve returned, and the honest truth is that Yogen is the only frozen yogurt place(that I know of) anywhere near my home. I have been to other Yogen Fruz locations and have not experienced this.

Not really a fan of yogen. Maybe it was the poor explanation of how they blend their ice-cream that led me to order the mint chocolate chip(which turned out to be way too sweet and very artificial tasting). My friend got the green tea blend and she was happy with it. Maybe it’s just not for everyone – I’ll stick to Red Mango and TangySweet.

I am a huge fan of Yogen. This particular site runs outof flavors at times so I only gave them four stars. Overall I like the brand. They also have a couple locations in DC and one Tyson’s Corner.

Having had a deliciously tart no sugar no fat blend at their Tyson’s location over the summer, I was looking forward to having one the other night when I found myself in the food court killing time before the Caps game. It’s about 6PM on a Monday night and the food court is dead. I am the only customer at the stand. I said to Girl #1: «May I please have a small no sugar no fat frozen yogurt with strawberries?» She informs me they’re out of strawberries. So, I opt for banana. She says«Ok, that will be a small no sugar no fat with banana, correct?» I answer in the affirmative. I saunter over to pay for my yogurt whilst Girl #1 creates my blend. Girl #2 asks me what I have and I tell her a small no sugar no fat with banana. She says«Ok, that will be a small no fat with banana» and I said no, it’s a no sugar no fat with banana. She said«Yes, that’s what I said» I informed here that is not what she said and I wanted to make sure that I got the no sugar since I can’t have too much sugar at a meal. She said she was positive I got the no sugar. I go back to my seat, eyeing my suspiciously beige yogurt. The first bite tastes very sweet… and not very tart. The second bite — tastes even sweeter. Bite #3 — I am starting to get the feeling that I didn’t get the right yogurt. I ask my son to have a bite just in case my tastebuds are off… he said«Wow, that’s really sweet — you’re going to get sick from eating that». At this point, I had to go to the Caps game. I ate only half my yogurt because it was too sweet. 10 minutes into waiting for the train on the platform, I start to get the insulin overload from eating too much sugar. I spend the next 20 minutes praying I am not going to barf on the Metro or all over fellow Caps fans who keep shoving me up the stairs at Gallery Place. I end up missing all of the pregame warmups because I am having a near death experience in the bathroom. Shitty customer service and poor quality yogurt. Boo.
