Glad this sub shop reopened awhile back. It was a long time waiting! I definitely prefer Mr. Goodcents over Subway or Jimmy Johns. Decided to stop in for lunch with my wife. I ordered the cheesesteak with steak. My wife ordered the meatball sub. Both were made quickly and the people behind the counter were very friendly. We got our food, paid for it and sat down. The food was great. Hot, delicious, and just the right amount of all the toppings. I love cheesesteak so I was pretty excited to dive in. The veggies were fresh and crispy and the steak was juicy. The spicy mayo sauce was also delicious. The table was crumby as were most of the tables. I think we came in right after the lunch rush and they hadn’t had time to clean the dining room yet. Also, my wife’s meatballs were a bit pink in the middle. Not sure if this is normal or not. Either way, we will be back for sure! I will frequent this place for lunch when I start working right down the street!

Since changing owners this place has shot skyward! I now prefer it over subway and definitely over jimmy johns. The place is clean and the employees are fast and courteous. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

Mr. Goodcents used to be a favorite of mine, something that I haven’t had in a while. I used to order their seafood sub on wheat and it was a very amazing treat, especially with a cup of soup on the side. Well, times have changed and so has Mr. Goodcents. They completely got rid of this sandwich. So, that is ok I say. I will try something else. I ordered their ultimate club sandwich on wheat. The ultimate club had roast beef, ham and bacon. I also ordered a side cup of hot broccoli cheddar on the side. The blonde girl was not happy when I gave her my order for some reason. Not to mention that she completely forgot to tell the manager at the register that I ordered a cup of soup. That didn’t please the manager at all, which led me to believe that she most likely took that cup of soup off the girl’s paycheck.(I kind of feel guilty about bringing that up in the first place.) The product seemed to have changed as well. The deli meat did not taste fresh at all. It seemed like the meat came of an oscar meyer package, not from a quality deli establishment. I paid $ 8 for the sandwich and drink, not including the small cup of soup. I think I did not get my money’s worth, including the steaming hot cup of guilty soup after the treatment of the front counter girl. I don’t think I will be coming back ever again.
