Arvada Car Wash and Detail Shop

I’ve been coming to this carwash since I moved to the area in 1012. I have a car and truck I take there regularly. Its really hit or miss with their customer service factor which is the reason for the low rating. Their $ 40 hand wax deal is the good side. They don’t honor their 72hr weather guarantee which is the bad part.
As convenient as this place is, only a couple blocks from my house, I’ll be going to the glo on 64^th and Sheridan or the wave on 92^nd and Wadsworth from now on. They both have a better guarantee they’ll actually honor, better, newer facilities for the same price, free vacuums and matt washers and overall better customer service. Looks like this dinosaur might need to go extinct.

I took my car here today and paid $ 27 (including a $ 5 tip) for a car wash inside and out. I asked for the diamond wash which was supposed to include an interior wipe down. My car looked no different than when I got there. My car is 4 months old and is very easy to clean, they didn’t bother to wipe the dash or the dust that was SO OBVIOUS on my back seat. I usually go to The Wave but figured I’d give these guys a try… Wish I hadn’t because now I’m out $ 27 and had to finish the job myself… Oh, and a Toyota RAV4 is oversize?!

This place is great. Staff member are super friendly and professional. They have amazing deals for monthly services. Go there!

I did indeed call on Friday and left a message for Ronnie and I have yet to receive a call back. If the establishment would like to resolve the situation please call me at 719−640−5471. I have never had issues with my voicemail so I am unsure as to why you could not leave a message the first time. I do appreciate the response on Unilocal however I still have not heard back.

Loyal and long term customer no more! I have been taking my vehicles to the Arvada Car Wash and Detail Shop for years. Sadly, I have noticed a decline in quality and care. Over the last several months I have had to ask to have my truck rewashed multiple times because it just wasn’t clean.
Today I made my almost weekly stop. In addition to the typical grime and dirt, my truck was covered in bugs from a recent road trip. The staff recommended that I take advantage of a special they had going on the Express Detail. This service was supposed to include a wash to get all the bugs off, hand wax and clean the interior for $ 75. Thinking it would be nice to have a clean truck for $ 75, I left it with them. I got a call saying it was done about 1 hour later. I went back, paid for the detail and then went and looked at my truck — big mistake! The first thing I noticed was a dent in the hood, which was not there when I dropped it off. As I continued looking at the truck, I could see it was still covered in bugs and dirty. I brought this to the attention of one of the staff who comments on my truck every time I bring it in. He went and got the manager, Ron. After Ron looked over it, he instantly said that dent couldn’t have happened there. None of their tools they use could do that. Then he continued looking over the truck and agreed that it was sloppy work. Ron went and brought out a guy that I thinks he said was Chris, which supposedly did the detail. After lots of back and forth between the two of them, working on getting the bugs off and cleaning the areas that were missed, Ron came over and tried to explain that this dent couldn’t have happened at his store. He claimed that it looked more like a dent that was caused by large hail. I explained to him that if it was hail, there would be more than just this one dent –my truck would be covered in similar dents. Plus, I haven’t been in hail with this truck since I bought it. He came back with the response, «If I was going to damage a vehicle then I would do more than just that one spot». Not believing that he just said that to me, and not wanting to get into a debate about what could have caused this, I asked him, «So what are we going to do about this?» He said that he was going to call their window company, see what they could do and would call me to let me know. I asked him why a window company and his response was, «They work on dents too» As I left, I noticed a white liquid running around my passenger side floor mat. I instantly turned around went back and found Ron. I showed him that and when he pulled out my floor mat he dumped about a ¹⁄₈ of a cup of what he called «detail fluid» off of it. He went and got the same guy as before and asked him about that. His response was «it usually just dries» After further inspection my back seat floor mats where the same way, so once again Ron and the detailer start working on my truck. After they were done, I told Ron that I was very disappointed in this experience and I don’t understand how they could charge what they do, offer poor service and be ok with it although I can still see all sorts of bugs on my truck. He said that if I wasn’t happy he would rewash and wax it again as he understood my concern. I’m still left wondering why it wasn’t done right the first time. I did not take him up on his offer to do it again as I wanted to wait and see what the outcome was going to be with the dent. Ron called me about 2 hours later and said that he had talked it over with the owner and the most he was going to do was give me a free wash and wax. Needless to say, this has cost them a client that has done business with them for years, referred several people to them and purchased many gift certificate/​wash packages as gifts for friends. It looks like this $ 75 special is going to cost me 3 to 4 times that by the time it is all said and done just repairing my truck… AND, it still isn’t clean.

These guys have always done a great job for me! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They get you in and out quickly and the price is fair!

Sllooooowwwww! And very disorganized. I frequent the Octopus Wash down on the Fax and Wads. They are much faster and efficient IMHO. This facility is old and dirty. They did an alright job hence the 3 stars but everything else sucked. While waiting for the attendant to take my «order» his manager came up and started yelling at him. Right outside my window. Lol. Professional much? Haha. Save yourself time and go down Wads to the Fax! That is all my friends. Carry on!

Pretty disappointed about my experience here. I purchased the Ultimate Wash, once my car came out of the wash it sat for over 10 minutes while several employees sat around smoking cigarettes. At the time there was only one other customer. My car has very noticeable areas that were not cleaned and the floor mats were just tossed back into the front seats. I will not return.

With two kids and a dog, my 8 year old car was a mess and I had no time to get I cleaned up. I was so pleased with the job Arvada Car Wash did. I was able to schedule a detailing appointment on a Sunday am, and they were ready and waiting when I arrived. Three hours later I had a different car — wonderful job! Everybody I dealt with was courteous and professional. Prices were reasonable. Work was well done, and with obvious pride. I would highly recommend this place, and I will be back!

I wanted to surprise my brother and get his 2009 Dodge Ram detailed for him for his birthday so I made an appointment for a complete detail. His truck was DIRTY so I wasn’t really sure what the outcome would be, but I knew it would be better than anything I could do. Mike Osmer and his team did an amazing job! When I showed up to pick up the truck I thought they put new rims on it… I was literally in shock how new and shiny everything was! The inside was spotless and even had the new car smell. Mike was very professional, friendly and true to his word about the work he performs. My brother was so happy with his truck, he figured I spent a ton of money and it took all day, but the price was reasonable and only took 3 hours! I can assure you I will always have my own vehicle washed here and so will my brother from now on!

I’ve been taking my cars here for a while now and I’m always happy with the results. I’ve used many other cashes around town, and I find Arvada Car Wash get my car cleaner then the other places.
The detail shop really does wonderful work. They work hard at making sure I’m satisfied with every detail. The owner is very friendly, and Tommy always greets me warmly, and I can trust them 100%
Bottom line… best car wash around for regular washes, and the detail shop Is fantastic.

Dont get the discount card Buy 16 car washes get the 17^th free I said I have a free car wash. Owner said this does not apply to your car was. I said Why? He said you got new car scent. This does not apply to new car scent. I said what does new car scent have to do with my free car wash. He said next time you get different scent. Went to carwash today. I asked the guy what car scent do I need to get my 17^th car wash free. He said what are you talking about. I said get the owner. Owner said cherry is what you need. I said great Went to pay. he said the free car wash is no good. I said why. He said its not dated? I said you punched eveyone of those yourself and initialed them yourself now my card is no good because the dates are not in with your stamp and signature. He started speaking a different language. No speak english.
Emberassing I will never go there again. I have 4 cars and wash one there every week for almost 20 years.

We took our truck in today for a full service detail and were disappointed on a couple of fronts. We asked for upholstery to be shampooed and it doesn’t appear that any of the stains or dirt came out, it looks the same as when it went in. The vacuuming and vinyl cleaning was good, not excellent. We asked whether some surface scratches around the door handles could be cleaned and the man said those would come out with their buffing service so we added that on. They look better, but I’d say still pretty visible. They were able to clean the front headlights with another additional service. In terms of the quality of work, I’d say just average, I probably would have done the same job at home. When it came time to pay, we brought a coupon from their website — however, they wouldn’t accept it. The coupon was for a standard detail and because we added services, that made us ineligible for the coupon! That was quite frustrating given the total we paid was over $ 220 and what we got was a basic interior/​exterior clean and wax. We may end up taking the truck elsewhere to try again with the upholstery and I probably would only return for a car wash.

I always get a great deal with Arvada Car Wash. They do a excellent job and I even got my chipped window fixed at the same time. My car looks and smells great.

My phone was just stolen at the Arvada Car Wash. All new crew, obviously cant be trusted. Go here for a car wash if you want to pay for your sucky detail + tip + a new phone/​watch/​whatever is in your car that isn’t attached. Next time i’ll leave a turd in the back seat

This place does a pretty good job and has fairly reasonable rates for car washes.
I dislike the window-​guy who tried to tell me that I had an invisible crack in my windshield and would fix it for free, which was completely untrue, he wanted to bill my insurance. Lame.
I like that these guys did a Living Social deal so that I could try them out at a discount. But, the deal turned out to be for the Gold Wash which is «exterior only». This is frustrating, because a similar carwash has a Gold Wash which is interior & exterior, so this was a bit misleading. And, they no longer allow you to pay the difference to add inerior cleaning to the Gold Wash.
This place is pretty conveniently located, right on Wadsworth. $ 12 for an interior/​exterior wash isn’t bad, although $ 7 at Octopus is better. I dunno, I will likely find myself returning here.
