Peking duck and mangolian chicken was good but Thai fried rice didn’t taste like anything. Would go back only for duck.

Avoid the lunch specials unless you want to lower your standards or be thankful that you can cook better at home. They should name the place ChiNo Taste or China Tasteless. It would probably taste good if you have no idea of what chinese food tastes like.

It would appear that the menu is inconsistent with the order. I have emailed the business and question my conundrum. Spicy beef should not be 90% onions and not spicy. They were excellent the first time and maybe the second but the last time was so horrible it made me angry enough to never order from them again. SO i order from the Good Fortune even though they are inconsistent as well.
I am West Coast of Asian descent and it pisses me off to see what passes in Northern Virginia 4 consistent quality Chinese American food. San Francisco used to be a place where you could get Chinese food at a reasonable price. Now I’m now I’m in Ashburn it’s more expensive and it sucks
BTW… the tech industry has ruined food to some degree in San Francisco as well

Consistent, quick, and fairly priced. Service could improve. I order from this place once a week and I enjoy it every time.

Bad foods. Mediocre services. High prices. All went to trash and wasted $ 35. No need to try a second time.

Got the General’s chicken and couldn’t eat more than 4 bites. My friend got some soup and said it was ok but I’m definitely not planning to go back. Nothing tasted fresh, the chicken tasted like it was fried in a big batch then heated up and tossed in their version of general tso’s sauce. perhaps there are other good things on the menu, but i didn’t get to try one of them.

I ordered General Tso’s Shrimp and Vietnamese Shrimp rolls… The coating on the shrimp is soggy like it was heated in the microwave. I asked for spicy hot and the sauce is actually sweet instead. This is the worst rendering of General Tso’s I have ever tasted. When I called to complain I was told everyone has different taste. I will not be ordering from this place again!!!

This is by far one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Ashburn area. I have ordered from quite a few of the other so called great Chinese restaurants in the area, and this is by far much better! Unlike the other restaurants they got my order correct the first time around. I’m thankful I was able to eat my meal once it arrived. Thanl you for your excellent customer service!

China DONT Taste! Most Chinese average tastes the same considering the amount of oil, soy, and sodium. But this place really has below average quality food. Made the mistake of trying it once. Hope it fades like the faded pictures on their menu board.

Went there for take out. I ordered beef with rice noodles. The food is not good at all and I paid more than $ 10 for a bowl. It is definitely expensive for the taste and portion. I will not go back again.

I’m always a little leery of places that get reviews that range all across the spectrum. If nothing else, it indicates a lack of consistency in either the food or the service, or both. And I can personally testify that my experience confirms this.
There are other Chinese carry-​outs that I prefer, but I work near China Taste, and sometimes I need a quick meal to slake my hunger. Isn’t that what carry-​outs are all about? Today was such a day, and I was hopeful as I walked into an entirely empty establishment.
The young lady behind the counter was friendly and courteous. This hasn’t always been the case, so one star for service. I ordered one of my standard Chinese favorites, Chicken in Black Bean Sauce. I sat down to wait for my order.
A few minutes later, the order was ready and I took off. Settling in at my desk at work, I opened the container and immediately knew something was wrong. Whatever they had prepared for me was NOT Chicken in Black Bean Sauce. In fact, not knowing what it was, I have decided to name it «Accidental Chicken.» Chunks of supposed meat (chicken?) that may or may not have been breaded, a smattering of green pepper pieces, an indistinguishable brown sauce, and not a single black bean to be found.
I hope I have not put anyone off by the description, for that was the best part. The taste of this mess was nearly enough to make me toss it right in the trash. But I was hungry. It’s amazing what hunger will drive some people to eat. I can honestly say that I can’t remember when I had a worse «Chinese» meal. I use quotation marks around the proper noun, as I can’t possibly bring myself to categorize this disaster as being Chinese.
A bad day at the office, perhaps? Maybe. It was a bright, sunny Spring day. Maybe the cook was out basking in the sunshine. Wherever he was, it wasn’t in the kitchen.
Why the two stars instead of one? Memories of somewhat pleasant past meals. I won’t be visiting to upgrade their rating any time soon.

I would give this place no star if i could. Although the lady is super friendly, their food is HORRIBLE! Too much salt and lowest grade chicken ever. So chew and rubbery that you will not be able to chew it. Save your money and go somewhere else. Plain out BAD FOOD!

I love their food and we get chinese all the time specially now they have Thai too

Great Chinese Food (delivery and take out). The beef and chicken dishes are excellent. Big lunch and dinner portions. I recommend if you want your Chinese food fix. Pretty descent prices.

Had the walnut shrimp and the sweet and sour shrimp.
Both dishes were not very good, and kind of expensive for what you got.
I don’t know what the people who gave this place 4 or 5 stars are smoking.

The food was good (not great), especially the egg rolls that were very good. The women at the register was super nice. The food was ready fast. It was take out order.

I absolutely love this place, I order here atleast once a week and they have the best chinese food in the area! The service is fast, the orders are rarely incorrect and the one time it was they were quick to correct it. I have never eaten in here, mainly because they dont have the best atmosphere, but I go there for the food not the atmosphere.

This is a tough review. These people are just flat rude. The restaurant was empty and the woman at the counter acted like we were interrupting her day. We ordered two lunch specials, drinks, and I ordered an egg roll. The drinks came with the lunch, so I grabbed two bottles of diet coke from the reach-​in fridge. The rude woman nearly had a coronary. Evidently you have to select the canned drinks (hidden behind other things on a top shelf). I would gladly have paid whatever extra the bottles cost, but we simply HAD to get the canned drinks. Geesh.
We sat down at a table (there were plenty to select from) and the rude woman brought out my egg roll on a small plate with a packet of duck sauce and a packet of hot mustard. The egg roll plate got set on the table with a little more force than necessary and and the two sauce packets were tossed on the table.
The egg roll was quite good, as were our rice plates. I had sesame chicken and my friend had sweet and sour chicken, both with fried rice. It wasn’t exceptional, but it was good.
This would have been a very nice lunch, and a nice review, if the obnoxious b at the front counter had only been a bit nicer. Even if the food is good, I don’t like going where the service is bad or the people not friendly. Life is too short to put up with a-​holes.

Okay, back to China Taste. All other takeout places in the Ashburn area are worse.
Beef and broccoli is consistent as is their beef fried rice. I tried the dumplings again and they were very good.
Oh well.
