Dear Prospective Parents:

Shopping for a school is a huge parental responsibility. It is different than selecting a bank or grocery store. The future of your child is at stake and that demands a thorough investigation. Hopefully you are here because of a recommendation that you received from one of our parents. If not, we will be glad to provide any information that you need to make your decision.

During the 2010-​11 school year we will be focusing on accelerated academics, positive physical and emotional development, wholesome music and art, Godly habits and attitudes and patriotic respect for our great nation. If this agenda meets your expectations, welcome to our family.

Please refer to the calendar in your registration packet for other important events. We hope you will make it a priority this year to attend as many school-​sponsored events as possible. History

Established in 1997.

Virginia Academy first opened its doors in 1997 as a branch of Community Church. Our understanding is that God is the creator and sustainer of all things, the source of all truth; and therefore, all truth must be obtained from a Christ-​centered position.

During the last decade, we have grown from a Preschool and Kindergarten with 25 students to the largest private school in Loudoun County. The key to our success is that we have steadily built upon the quality foundation, which is initially established: «academic excellence with a Christian emphasis.» Our world-​renowned curriculum, competent and qualified faculty and staff, thirty-​five million dollar facility on 50-​acre campus, and an enrichment program beyond description make us truly unique. We are fully accredited by the International Christian Accrediting Association and AdvancED, which also certifies our faculty and affords us full accreditation with the State of Virginia.
