B & B Tobacconists

Stopped by to get my Father some Cigars, my daughter was with me. There were 3 or 4 guys in the shop smoking and talking to the man behind the counter. He did not even speak to us, mind you I do not want people to stop what they are doing to help me, but he was just leaned back on a stool. Never did offer to help us… I knew exactly what I wanted… I found them and was just looking around for a new Cigar for myself. Then they start staring at us like we are going to steal something… I have never felt that uncomfortable in a place of business. I put the Cigars back in the appropriate boxes and left. My daughter said «daddy»…(I thought she was going to say why did you leave)…but no… she said daddy «why didn’t those people like us. Even a 5 yearold could feel the cold shoulder.
This place has a big selection of cigars but you better be a good old boy to shop there. I did ask around to see if is a private club but I was told that it was open to the public. I found another shop in town, not as big of a selection but let me tell you they are ready to sell cigars and build their business by being friendly. I did have a conversation with Cigar Dave about the lousy service at B & B… he had some interesting thoughts about why the service is so bad.

Not a Cigar smoker but my family does. And this was a great place to get a gift and hang. Great smoking rooms in this old house right on Merrimon and beside the GREAT Homegrown eatery. Big selection in the humidor, pipe tobacco and several rooms of sitting and TV. Neat porch to sit on too.
If I smoked cigars I’d be here a lot.

Great selection of premium cigars. Boutique cigars do not fair well, but the owner continues to promote his favorites. A great place to stock up the personal stash or to meet with friends who herf.

Great selection of cigars and pipes. They have a friendly knowledgable staff ready to help with questions you may have. They have a front and back Seating srea with big screen TV’s. Their pricing makes smokes a cigar affordable

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great lounge area with plenty of seating and big screen TV. And a huge front porch complete with rocking chairs.
Always filled with regulars that treat you like long lost friends, this is a classic, old school tobacco shop!

I started coming here two years ago. I tried the place at the mall but they don’t have a very good selection and the place downtown only has their own brand and they are terrible. A friend told me about this place and I have been coming here ever since.
You can sit down and smoke it there and if you are not sure what you want the guys that work there will help you pick one out. I also used to smoke a pipe and they have a big selection of tobacco and they have now mixed me my own blend. I highly recommend this place.
There is an eclectic group of characters that hang out there. I just got a locker and and it has become a favorite Saturday hangout.

Excellent cigar shop!
We got there right after it closed, but the owner opened the shop for us anyway. The cigar selections are great… Much better than those at the shops downtown. After making our cigar selections, we chatted with the owner for a while… He gave us a «she» cigar and «nip» for the road. Next time we go, we’ll get there early enough to enjoy cigars on the porch.
