History

Established in 2003.

Pat & John Horrocks began their art & framing business in 1991, and moved to Asheville in 2002. The staff includes three CPF’s, certified by the Professional Picture Framers Association, more than any other in WNC. Over the years, BlackBird has designed and built many thousands of frames for both individual and large commercial orders installed around the globe. Our experience shows in professional and creative design, the care given to preservation of artwork, our craftsmanship and the high level of service given our clients.
