Beauty and brows bar is a unique salon offering a wide range of services. We specialize in eyebrow threading, where our technicians work gently on the skin giving a perfect shape to give your face a perfect lift.

To add a feather to our cap, we specialize in waxing, maintaining high standards of hygiene. We never double dip. Infact we have personal wax cups for each client.

We offer chocolate, aloe, hard wax and sugar waxing.

Our other specialities include skin care treatments

Customized according to type of skin giving a radiant look.

We also do eyelash extensions of different kinds like clusters as well as individual blink or mink lashes.

To add on we do specialize in eyebrow and lash tinting,

First time here for a wax and was helped by Naseem who recommended the sugaring. SUCH a great service and results look amazing. Threaded excess hairs (minimal) instead of tweezing which I really liked. Will be back on my next trip to NYC!

Naseem really is the best! Anyone in fear of waxing their vajay, give this woman a try. I usually go to European Wax Center but due to location, budget, & in need of an emergency wax at the time I trusted Unilocaler’s reviews of this place. (First timers use a GroupOn deal.) Naseem took her time & left me hair free, which European Wax Center fails to do most times. She listened & attended to my sensitive skin concerns which is a plus. This place is clean, no double dipping, polite, great customer service, etc. A little walk from the Subway, but totally worth it! Thank You Naseem :) … I returned for a wax and even threaded my eyebrows as she seemed trustworthy. The experience wasn’t the same, I will not return.

I use to come here just to get my eyebrows tinted. I finally gave them a try to see if threading my eyebrows was worth it. I haven’t tried to go anywhere else anymore. Naseema hands down is the best one to have if you are looking to have fuller and even eyebrows. After a while of coming all you have to do is walk in and she already knows how you like your eyebrows done.

I went for a Brazilian wax at Beauty and Brows bar and had a great experience. Naseem makes you feel comfortable and she is very knowledgable about what she is doing. At first I was hesitant because I did not know which wax to use. After an explanation of which is better for your skin and why, she let me try both soft and hard wax. And of course she was right, the best option is the soft chocolate wax.
I was so comfortable and pleased with the experience and outcome I booked for my next appointment and decided to buy the affordable package she offers.

Googled brow threading in Queens and came across this little gem, off the beaten path of Ditmars. Read some reviews was in the area and wow!!!
What a find. Naseem and Miki the dynamic duo.
Naseem threaded and tinted my thin blonde brows to perfection. Tinted my lashes on the second visit.
Miki performed a colossal color and highlights to a lovely blonde perfection.
Even tbo I live in the Bronx this is my new go to beauty bar… next trip facial and hmm some new lashes :-)

I’ve been a loyal customer here since they recently opened when they offered a groupon for the brazillian wax. I usually hop from salon to salon via groupon for my brazillian waxes but this time was a game changer. I couldn’t not come back the second time. Naseem is so gentle and kind, there is no other person I’d go to for my wax. She’s patient and easy to talk to throughout the process to make sure you’re comfortable and happy with the service she provides. Recently, i went and she had a few ladies ahead of me and i guess the appointments backed up because she never rushes so I waited patiently for 30 minutes before she got to me and apologized for keeping me waiting but i assured to her that I wouldn’t go anywhere else. It’s a great place. Super clean and ample parking in that area of Astoria surprisingly! I always find a meter spot right in front of the storefront :)

My go to place for waxing! It’s so convenient to go here since I live close by.
Naseem is amazing! She is very calm and easy to talk to. She made me feel less pain and more comfort during the waxing treatment.
Definitely a must try if you’re looking for a clean and relaxing area to pamper yourself.

Unless you want uneven and unnaturally dark eyebrows, then by all means, please visit here. I came for a tinting, and the woman persuaded with me to get my eyebrows «cleaned up» beforehand. I was hesitant, because I like to keep mine thick and I am actually trying to grow them out. I said OK, but I SPECIFICALLY told her I do not want to lose thickness and to just get rid of anything that was sticking out. The finished result, was noticeably thinner brows, with one thicker than the other! My eyebrows weren’t even a natural tint either, they were almost black! She insisted that she was «following the natural shape of my eyebrow.» The «natural shape» of my eyebrow isn’t uneven and SUPER thin. I am beyond upset with this amateur job on my eyebrows. Never coming back again.

Naseem did threading on my mum and I (eyebrow), fake lashes on my mum and eyelash tint on me. Fab job!
My mum does’n’t speak English but Naseem put her at ease from the beginning. Very sweet and experienced lady!
We were there first thing in the morning so we didn’t have to wait but I can imagine it can get quite busy during the day…

I get my hair cut by Miki here and she’s great — always love the outcome. I’ve also gotten my eyebrows tinted here (not threaded, though) and liked the result. Friendly staff and reasonable prices — highly recommend!

I’ve been going to this salon since September and WOW what a great place! I get a Brazilian wax every month and it’s the best I’ve ever had. I moved to the upper east side and I still come here to get it done. (: The woman, who is very lovely and professional uses a chocolate wax, I’ve heard that it’s «painless «bit before, but in this case it’s not a lie. Until I leave New York City this place will be my waxing place. Amazing!!!

It was my first time doing a Brazilian and I had bought a Groupon for this salon. Of course, I was a little nervous. I didn’t know what to expect. The Groupon said ‘painless Brazilian’ and I thought, is there such a thing?
Anyway, fast forward, once I stepped into the salon, Naseem greeted me with a big smile and was an amazing lady who gave amazing service. I told her it was my first time and she calmly talked me through the procedure, reassuring me as we went along. She also kept the conversation going as she did the waxing to keep my attention away from the process. Before I knew it, we were done! It wasn’t entirely painless but DEFINITELY a lot less painful than I had imagined. Naseem played a big part in making my first time a good and comfortable experience. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to do a Brazilian. Clean, hygienic, quick, enjoyable. Her warmth is also what will bring me back again.

I went here for eyebrow threading, eyelash extensions and eyebrow tinting. Naseem did an excellent job on all of the services provided. It was my first time getting eyelashes and she super patient with me, even though my eyes kept tearing up.

This place did a great job on my eyebrows! I’ve been looking for a good threading place in Astoria and finally found it. Naseem didn’t make them too thin either which a lot of places tend to do. She shaped my brows perfectly.

I don’t know why it’s so hard to find a good threading place! I got eyelash tint for the first time and was not asked about contacts– she roughly rubbed my eyebrows and eyelashes which is such a sensitive area and the hairs more prone to fall out. Anyway by the time tint was done I had something rubbed into my eye and it was Ted and burning ! I also had tint on my face– how embarrassing. I was told this is normal and wash it out I said you can’t wash out your eye with contacts to which I get «well why wouldn’t you tell me you had contacts!?» Somehow thrown back on me the customer not cool. Lady is nice my lower lashes and brows look good and she Listens to the areas I don’t want done but I do not like the way I felt there

I just visited this place for the first time, and I loved it. I needed a brow threading, and wanted to treat myself a little as well. They’ve got some great specials on their website, like a 45 minute Express Facial + brows and lips threaded for $ 30! The woman did a lovely job, and I feel pampered without breaking the bank. They also accept credit cards, which is a plus!
This is more of a weekly maintenance spa than a luxurious weekend retreat, so don’t expect a super posh experience. Do expect quality work, and to feel fabulous!
I also recommend setting up an appt if you are in a hurry, there was just one woman there on a Monday afternoon.

I had a facial, eye brows, hair color, cut & blow out today. The service was amazing my stylist was Miki her work is just fabulous & she’s so nice. I record this place to everyone. Everyone is so nice & their services are amazing.
