This place is incredibly shady. My boyfriend asked for a size 9. Come home to find that the«½» in «9 ½» was blacked out with a marker on the box. He is now the owner of a shoe that is too big and completely useless. I won’t even bother trying to return them. If their business practices are this dishonest a refund or exchange seems impossible. How is this place still in business?

Didn’t even get to see the quality of the clothes they had here before the saleswoman was incredibly rude — really bad attitude. I will never attempt to shop here again.

Gave this place three uncomfortable and disappointing tries. No mas. Pushy pushy rude rude staff. If I looked for longer than half a second at a pair of shoes they insisted on grabbing a pair for me to try on, but then they consistently left me waiting for 5 – 10 minutes. If I asked them to find two pairs at once, it was like I was asking for their firstborn. Lots of glares and scoffs. I noticed a lot of holes and split seams on clothes on the racks — none marked down for damage. I also saw signs of aging on shoes — yellow spots, brittle rubber etc., like the shoes were a few years old. I’d expect that at a Goodwill, but not at a boutique. The handful of things I saw there that interested me, I found at other boutiques for quite literally half the price. If you’re brave enough to purchase something here, be sure to make them spell out their return policy. I won’t even look in the window anymore.

Worse experience. Long story short, sold me damaged Jack Purcell Converse $ 65 shoes. When I tried to take them back to exchange them, told me it was the last pair. And they dont do refunds. When I asked if they could at least take money off the shoe based on the damage on the shoe(I was willing to keep them if the would at least some money off) which all stores do when they discover a product is defective, this store refused to and actually said ‚” well we already reduced the price. ” Dude, the shoes are damaged! On top of a horrible exchange/return policy, absolutely horrible customer service. Caveat emptor. I hate to say this(because.I believe in supporting local merchants) but with certain products, you should buy from larger retailers where the exchange /defective merchandise policy is at least basic. Or at least ask(a lot of questions) before you buy merchandise from smaller stores This store deserved no stars.

I had a great experience going into this store today. Told the sales associates my boyfriend has a hard time finding quality clothes to fit him. He is very tall & slim. They worked with us both & were very sweet trying to find some unique pieces. They also went down on the pricing & I understand why the prices are high. Anyone who has ever worked retail knows why business owners need to do this. I mean, c’mon, get real. They have to make some sort of profit. My boyfriend got a really awesome coat & I know it’s going to be a hit back in the windy city where we reside. Thanks Index 1~. Keep up the good work :)
