Terrible, terrible place for eyelashes extensions .the extensions are added under your eyelashes, which is extremely risky and uncomfortable .I had the eyelashes extensions done, and it feels like your eyes are on fire ! I was told that it was normal. Later I found out she burned my inner eyelid and the extensions started to come off by the corner of the outer part of my eye after just 2days !!! I went back to get them removed and the solution she used to remove them was burning my eyes plus she was pulling them from my eyelashes very harshly, these ppl use very little cautious when dealing with ppls eyes. plus the lady wanted to charge me money to get them removed !! .Lol she told me that if I just wanted to add more it would be free, but since I wanted them gone I had to pay .I reminded her she had told me they should last 2 weeks, she said ppl go to parties and do things to the eyelashes and then want them off for free (that made no sense what so ever!) It’s none of her business where ppl go, if she clearly says it should last 2weeks as long as you are not doing something that would make them come off prematurely then the rest is just ******* coming out of her mouth.
I will not be bothering with this 3^rd world country type of business ever !

This is the ONLY spot I will go to for an eyebrow threading or anything pertaining to my eyebrows. I ONLY let Rina touch my brows. SHE IS THE BEST! I try to come here bi-​weekly and always call in to make sure Rina is working (she usually is). I’m lucky my eyebrows are thick and dark, but the unlucky part is that they aren’t «even». I feel like one arch is higher than the other so for years I’ve been getting it waxed at another place that I didn’t love. I always had to tweeze it and adjust my own brows when I got home, UNTIL I CAME HERE! Not only did Rina even out my arch, but she doesn’t thread it super thin and it looks very natural + clean. I love it here and at $ 4-​$ 5 a threading, it is also a STEAL! They also offer other services that I have yet to try, but I do hear their waxing is pretty good.

I got a couple of services here. Waxings, which I would recommend and I tried their $ 20 eyelash extensions. They apply the extensions under your natural lash line so that is already slightly concerning for me. The glue burns your eye, temporarily. The lashes stay on and look good for more than 2 wks but I would not recommend them because, they do take out your natural eyelashes when they finally fall/​come off. I recommend the waxing. If you value your own lashes at all, do not do the eyelashes.

I’ve been coming here for almost two years. I found this place on Unilocal when I needed to get a Brazilian and eyebrow threading done. What really appeals to me about this place is the location (around the corner from the train stop) and the prices (so cheap!). The woman who is almost always there (the owner?) does the best job. She’s very kind and spends time to pay attention to detail when I’m there. As for the other people, I have come out with slightly mismatched eyebrows sometimes ehhhhh. But for what you pay, it’s not bad at all.
There’s never too much of a wait unless you go past 5 or 6pm, when everyone gets off work.

I’ve been coming here religiously for the past year. I now have my very own eyebrow lady that I hope to never have to change. My eyebrows are not naturally shapely and after 12 years of getting my eyebrows threaded I still suffer severe pain every time the thread removes each strand of hair :(
I don’t know her name :(but the lady in here is amazing to say she least. She is so patient with me, and let’s me breath and take many breaks in between threading. I get TONS of compliments after I get my eyebrows done here. I also love that they don’t have a minimum for credit card payments, and I can add the tip to the payment.
I am a crazy perfectionist when it comes to my eyebrows, and Lady Like Spa REALLY delivers. Love them!

It’s sad I have to give this place such a bad review considering I went there after reading all the great reviews. I went there to get my eyebrows threaded and a full body wax. This was my first time getting a full body wax so I didn’t know what to expect. I called prior to going and asked them what time they are closing, they told me 8. I asked them I wanted to make an appointment at 6 and she said she would prefer 7, so I said ok. I was running late getting out of work and I called and asked them if its alright I come at 7:15 for a full body wax, they said yes. I got there at 7:15 and they were busy doing many women’s eyebrows. I reminded them I have to get a full body wax and they said its ok, they have time as soon as they finish with the other women. 2 women in front of me also got waxes, so while they waxed I got my eyebrows done. I loved how she did my eyebrows, definitely recommend for that. Another lady come in after me to get her brazilian done. The lady who did my eyebrows asked if the customer who came after me could skip me for the brazilian I said i don’t think its fair she skips me, especially since I live far away. She informed the customer to wait, it should take about 15 min for me to complete my full body wax. I should’ve known then to not do it. I went inside with another associate who started to wax my legs. She asked me if I waxed before I said no I always shaved. She told me that because I always shaved my first time would hurt a lot, fair enough. After about 30 min she finished only about ¾ of my legs and the lady waiting for the brazilian decided to leave as it was already time for the store to close. The other associate then asked to come inside and I said ok. Then they both started to wax me in different body parts simultaneously because the lady who started waxing me on my legs had to go home because her baby sitter kept calling. While they did apologized that they must do this I don’t think its fair that 1) they put me in a position where they both waxed me simultaneously 2) weren’t more understanding that this is my first experience, and it already hurts A LOT only for me to receive DOUBLE the pain 3) agreed to give me a full body wax and have a lady wait for a brazilian knowing that the store will close soon. I also checked there website prior to going and the website said they are having a special on full body wax. She informed me the website is wrong for a long time, if it has been «a long time» shouldn’t you fix that or honor the price on the website? To make matters worse when I came home and inspected the job that they did, i noticed multiple patches of hair on different parts of my body that they missed while rushing to finish. Not only did they give HORRENDOUS customer service but they did a crap job too. Getting a full body wax is very intimate but I felt like I was being rough handled by two women who were also rude enough to speak to each other in their native language while waxing me. It’s so easy for you guys to take money for your services and expect a tip but then you should give me the same quality of service you charge for.

Walked in and five minutes latet Voila, perfect eyebrows, and for less than five dollars. Oh how I wish they were closer to Brooklyn but I wont mind commuting to Astoria to care for my beauties here.

I am very particular with my eyebrows. I am always searching for a place that can deal with my «fine hair» (as most salons tells me). The threading job she did was accurate and I have no complaints. I told her what I wanted, and she performed the service to my liking. I definitely recommend this place and at $ 4 for the job, its definitely a steal. The service was quick and efficient. Since it was my first time there, I gave it 4 stars and will definitely update my review on the my next visit.

I came to this place with a Groupon for five eyebrow threading appointments for $ 10. With 4.5 stars on Unilocal,I couldn’t pass up this deal.
You don’t need to make an appointment for eyebrows (threading or waxing) despite what the Groupon fine print says.
I went to the Lady Like Spa and there was a very nice lady waiting at the front for customers. I came to get my eyebrows and upper lip threaded. The service was pretty standard and pretty fast. After I inspected my eye brows, I realized that my right brow had a slightly different shape than my left and that it was shorter than my left. T_​T
I do not recommend coming here on a hot day because there’s no AC in the place and I was sweating while I was sitting in the chair.
Because of how «okay» my brows turned out and how I was sweating so much in the chair, I’m giving this place only 3 stars. Since I have four more visits, I will continue to come but will only come on cooler days and probably not after I use up all of my visits.

For $ 4 the eyebrow threading job they did was just as good or better than places where I have paid double or triple. They were thorough and told me to be careful about plucking. Very pleasant and clean spot.

This place is great! I don’t think I’ve ever had anyone spend as much time on my eyebrows as they did here. Meticulous with attention to detail plus threading was free with my facial.

Amazing service — I completely and totally recommend Rina Didi for her waxing, brazilian, full body as well as threading. Possibly the best place I’ve ever been to for waxing and threading.

Discovered this place last summer after my friend told me she went there. I am usually turned off by those small threading salons but I decided to give it a go anyway. I won’t go anywhere else anymore. The ladies who work there are all very friendly and work quickly. Prices are beyond reasonable and I quickly have become a regular ever since.

I waited for a few minutes for my turn, since there was only one person running the show. The lady was all smiles and very pleasant, she was pretty light handed and worked without rush on my eyebrows and upper lip. I loved the result, she accomplished aesthetically what I requested at an unbeatable price!

I moved to Brooklyn and desperately needed to get waxed. Eyebrows are very important and I didnt want just anyone doing them, so I began looking for a new go to spot. I found this place through a groupon deal, it was extremely cheap so I was skeptical at first but had to check it out.
After my first visit I was so extremely satisfied, this is the only place I will go. I have gotten waxing for brows, lip, bikini, brazilian and underarm here and I was happy with all of them. The women who does them knows what she is doing!
Even though it is an hour and a half travel time from BK to queens it is well worth it!
& not to forget the prices! Inexpensive for a wonderful job!

I never had my eyebrows threaded until I came to Lady Like Spa. I started coming here in October, and now I feel like I’ve been coming here for years. I absolutely love this place! I always get my eyebrows threaded by Manila. She’s extremely friendly, patient, personable, & gentle. My eyebrows look great every time she does them for me. The service is quick and affordable too! I recommend Lady Like Spa highly!

Great service, and affordable prices. Flare eyelash extensions nicely put on by Gidia (hope I spelt it right) and within reasonable time. I will be back.

I do love coming here for my eyebrows as they do an amazing job on eyebrows! It’s a family owned business and the owners are very nice. I tried the eyelash extensions and can’t say I was too happy with them as they put too many on my eyes The lashes were Ardell which is what I can buy myself and they give you a fan to dry the glue. I guess you really can’t expect much for $ 20 extensions. I had to go back and get the lashes removed as I didn’t want to rip them off myself, the owner was very nice and apologized, offered to have them taken off for me as I was not happy with them. The girl that originally did them were pulling at my lashes in which I told her to be careful and more sensitive. I do really appreciate the owner being really nice and handling the issue so quickly and not charging me for removal of lashes. I may just keep to the eyebrow services next time.

I found this spot because I was in desperate need of a facial and waxing around the neighborhood and they were offering a deal at the time. The lady that helped me was a sweetheart. She made sure I was comfortable and she was very gentle. She did a great job on my waxing. I’ve gotten better facials but it got the job done.

Great place to get your eyebrows threaded! Service is quick and the ladies are very nice. There’s no AC in there, so it does get hot in the summer.
Eyebrows came out great. It’s cheap and they also have a frequent customer card. There wasn’t a wait when we went, which was great :)
