I randomly discovered Rejuvenate Spa back in April after searching for a good spa in Astoria online. I had never visited this spa before even though I passed by it a few times. All I can say is that the service is excellent! I used to frequent a Bliss Spa in the city because it was near my work. After visiting Rejuvenate, I will never go to Bliss again. Evelyn gives you personal attention by taking the time to explain the services the spa offers and examine your skin to determine what treatment would work best for you. As others have mentioned, she takes a holistic approach to skincare which I personally love because radiant skin is just as much an internal issue as it is external. She makes excellent recommendations and would never force you to do a treatment just so she can upsell. Bonus: the «Trilogy» line she brings from New Zealand contains fantastic all-​natural products. I especially love the cream cleanser. I cannot put in words how much I love this place & the wonders it has done for my skin. Thank you Evelyn & the rest of the team for being so warm and helpful. I was so happy to find this hidden gem spa in Astoria. The spa is very clean and extremely relaxing. Evelyn is amazing, my skin felt so smooth and clean after I left. I also loved the fact that she gives holistic skin care advice as well. I already booked my next appointment and will definitely be a regular customer!

Evelyn is really great ! Such a good Deal for a salicylic peel plus deep pore cleanse. I really am noticing a difference. Love the massage ! I use the trilogy products now the cream cleanser smells soo good! They don’t push products on you its a really great find!

I love it here. After a few times, the esthetician really understands my skin. I have very sensitive skin and she knows how to handle it. I love the products she uses. Also, they always have great specials every month! I’m moving out of Astoria, but might have to make the journey to come back here since it’s been so great :-)

Evelyn is amazing! Not only does she have a vast experience in treating skincare with positive results, but she is a passionate practitioner who will dedicate the time to sit down with her clients and discuss step by step how to implement a healthy daily skin care regimen.
I suffer from adult-​acne/​blemishes and Evelyn walked me through the different mistakes I was making when treating my skin with over-​the-​counter products and cleansing routine (very common mistakes!). Her advice from how to clean my face every morning/​night, moisturizer creams, and how certain foods are triggering my acne.
Evelyn is great and approachable with any questions you may have. Plus she has a great sense of style and feels like home. I definitely recommend this spa and worth the train ride to Astoria-​Ditmars!

So glad I decided to go to Rejuvenate to try microdermabrasion for the first time. I currently just finished my second treatment and I can already see a huge change with my skin. I had really bad scars left over from a bad breakout and enlarged pores. With my microdermabrasion treatments from Rejuvenate my scars have practically faded and my pores have shrunk. Right after the treatment you see instant results and days after you can still see the treatment working its magic, my face is constantly glowing. I also have to mention Evelyn, the esthetician, she is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable, and she is extremely knowledgable on skincare and gives great tips to keep your skin healthy.

Why go to the city when the best facial is in Astoria? As soon as you enter the door, the décor and music set the tone for a relaxing and stress-​free experience. Not only did the esthetician have a magical touch, she knew her products through and through. The spa carries Trilogy Skin Products which are natural and organic, which is great because I have sensitive skin. They smell fantastic and left my skin feeling so refreshed. No drug store product has EVER left my skin feeling so new. I always judge the esthetician’s skills by looking at their skin, and let me tell you, my esthetician’s face was absolutely stunning! I look forward to my next experience.

I love Rejuvenate and have been going for years. Evelyn is so knowledgeable and has such a gentle touch; my skin always looks and feels amazing after whatever treatment I get. I have been a client of Evelyn’s for over a decade. I now say that she is more than my esthetician — she is a friend. I had just introduced a holistic lifestyle into my life, and Evelyn came into my life just at that moment — she was the perfect person for my skin. Thanks to her organic skin care, and reminding me to honor my body within (in more ways than just the physical aspect), my skin has been perfect and clean for almost 10 years now. I cannot stop using her products, and no matter how far away I move from her, and no matter how much bigger my life gets, I still find my way to her sooner than later. Rejuvenate is literally my favorite Astoria gem. I have been going there the last 3 years for facials, microdermabrasion, and Trilogy products. Evelyn and the others at Rejuvenate are true professionals who know skin inside and out. I have extremely sensitive skin and suffer from sporadic intense adult acne breakouts that leave me feeling horrible. I can guarantee I have tried everything almost everywhere… and the only place I will ever go for facials is Rejuvenate. Facials are great, but if you want amazing instant results, get the Microderm… especially if you have acne scars. Maybe the best thing about this place though are the Triology products… the rosehip oil have completely changed my skin. I don’t get the treatments as often as I would like due to financial constraints, but I literally could not go one day without using Trilogy rosehip oil.
Bottom line, if you want skincare experts who use all natural, clean products, and you want a calm, soothing environment, this is your place,

I have been getting may facials at Rejuvenate for 8 years. It has taken me a long time and a lot of money to find a place that does the job right.
Evelyn’s strict ethics and professionalism are not easy to find. She researches the product she sells and I can always count on the products to be toxins free and effective (not an easy combination at times). She is importing herself the line of products from Trilogy, which are beyond awesome. We are very lucky to have her in Astoria!

I am truly grateful that I met Evelyn. We had conversations about holistic skincare, she shared her experiences, she listened to my struggles and gave her insight… overall, our conversations initiated me to «revamp» my skincare by improving my efforts on all fronts to fight my hormonal acne — diet, hormones, stress, and topical skincare products.
I went in for a short consultation, and since then, I’ve had 2 appts. She recommended the deep pore cleansing facial and salicylic acid peel for me the first time. And another SA peel two weeks after. Evelyn is gentle in the facial. I remember the final seaweed peel feeling very soothing. My skin felt cleaner, softer and more supple afterwards. Oh, and her chair is so comfortable!
Some comments mentioned Evelyn as a product pusher… she may seem this way… but I think she is simply promoting what she believes in and what has worked for her and her clients. She is against mineral oil-​based products… not surprising as this is the position of environmental groups and people who believe in nature-​based everything. Being in the field of chemical regulation and scientific risk assessment, I don’t think there are any actual scientific evidence that proves the negative claims on mineral oil.
Overall, I think Evelyn is excellent as an esthetician, and a lovely role model in terms of healthy eating, being real and a positive attitude.
Her receptionist, Liz, is also very friendly and professional. She is always all smiles.

I cannot express my happiness from the treatments Evelyn has given me. I’ve been going to dermatologists since I can remember and I have NEVER felt more at east and comfortable with someone. Evelyn goes through everything she does and tells you about it.
Now, in my 30s, my skin is changing and I had dark spots, not from the sun but more hormonal and Evelyn talked to me about them, letting me know that as a woman, your body changes, PH balances, etc. etc. … I didn’t know that and I didn’t get that from any dermatologist I’ve seen in the city. They would look at my face and basically give me some topical creams and say «good luck»…
When I first went to Rejuvenate I had a Salicylic peel and wow, i thought that was amazing… It’s not like any other peel and its all natural… especially since my skin (my face) is so sensitive.
And tonight, I had my first microdermabrasion and HOLY CANOLI! My skin looks like a NEW person… clean, clear and my spots are pretty much almost gone! In one appointment. My dark circles are almost gone — a few lines by my eyes. gone. My skin hasn’t looked this good in yearrrrrrsss…
She didn’t stop there and proceeded to give me a make up lesson on the do’s and don’ts and why some clog pores and «ruin» your skin. I walked out of there a new person, literally.
In two weeks I will go back and let you know but I’ve never felt so confident leaving anywhere — my skin tone on my face looks like the rest of me and I don’t have hardly any makeup on.

Best facial and neck massage in Astoria! Evelyn is truly a master of her craft and skincare. She did several extremely difficult extractions for me without bruising my skin. She also helped me to simplify my skincare routine, she truly does care about helping people to look and feel their best. I used to have a four step process for cleansing my skin at night, so tedious, but she changed that for me to one and half steps, my skin feels so much cleaner, and supple.
Best part is she is really easy to talk to about skin and health. We all have «dirty little secrets» about what we do to our skin and faces behind closed doors, that may be quite damaging, I was able to really talk to her and she made me feel comfortable and relaxed about the facial cleansing process. I no longer dread washing my face at night. I’m so happy.
Annnnnnd, I love the all natural products she carries at the spa.
Not to mention she is a completely cool and down to earth chick.
I genuinely cannot wait to go back in 4 weeks for my «repairing facial» where we’re going to work on diminishing the appearance of some facial scarring that I gave myself trying to extract pimples (won’t do that again).
Side-​note– I must go back and get some business cards for my friends.

After traveling out of my way to go to Rejuvenate looking to purchase Afterglow cosmetics, I was unable to even get in the door. Whoever was working there on that particular day left their partially-​drank smoothie and cell phone at the front, but was nowhere to be found. After a half hour, buzzing the front door and calling I gave up. Maybe an emergency came up. A note on the door would have been nice.
There’s 2 hours of my time I’ll never get back.

I have been getting facials from Evelyn for the past few months and I’m very pleased with the improvement of my skin’s appearance from her service and products. I have acne-​prone skin and it is very difficult for me to get my breakouts under control. With Evelyn’s advice about my skin’s regiment and the salicylic peel facials, my skin is healthier and less breakout prone. I highly recommend her organic products, especially the Triology Line (Rosehip Oil), which I believe WILL make a difference for all skin types. Rejuvenate also has promotions every month that make the reasonably priced services even more affordable!

So I needed to find a new esthetician after my usual spot was closed. So I found this place on Unilocal and was so happy. I have had a lot of facials and this was by far the best. The spa was clean and the staff was very welcoming. I found my new spot and i cant wait to go back, I already made my follow up appointment.

I booked an eyebrow shaping appointment at Rejuvenate last Friday (10.21.11) and the entire experience was quite lovely. The esthetician (I wish I could remember her name) was very friendly.
I have strange eyebrows in the sense that they are sparse in some spots and not in others so I have had issues finding someone who can really make them look great. I actually hadn’t waxed by brows in about 5+ months at the time of my appointment and they were looking pretty unruly.
The waxing didn’t hurt at all, and she took a full 20ish minutes waxing, tweezing and perfecting my brows. Seriously, they looked amazing once she was done. And again, totally painless.
I was so pleased with the service and results that I booked a Brazilian for the following week.
Finding a good waxer is not an easy task and luckily for me I think I may have found the perfect one for me. Bonus points, Rejuvenate is literally 150′ away from my apartment.

I frequent Rejuvenate on a fairly regular basis.
This place is alright, but there are definate pros and cons.
Pros:
— For me, it is very close to my house, which is a huge pro.
— Very friendly staff — they are always cheerful and accomodating. The staff are all polite and friendly. The therapists do a good job.
— Prices cheaper than in Manhattan. An hour Sweedish is $ 80 as opposed to $ 100.
Cons:
— Outside noise. It’s a very small spa and you can hear people speaking in the lobby and any outside noise on the street which can be distracting and take away from ones relaxation treatment. However, they do play soothing music which helps to drown out the outside noise.
— No bells or whistles. Maybe I am spoiled by Canyon Ranch spas, but I am used to having a sauna service before getting a massage treatment, which you don’t get here, which may leave one feeling slightly rushed.
Overall though, the facility is very clean and the services are very good. I have had three different therapists while there and they were all attentive and good. It may not be the lavish indulgence of a Manhattan spa, but it gets the job done and I enjoy going there.
