Have been going there for a couple months now. I had a problem with my the battery chamber in my vaporizer after dropping it from 5 feet. I went in there and asked if they could help to fix it, which they then did. Every time I go in there, the employees and owners and nothing but helpful and nice. Would recommend it to a friend.

I am such a big fan of these guys! Not only did they help my dad quit smoking (he had been smoking for 40 years!) they also just recently sold me my favorite vape yet — an adorable purple Kangertech. This one generates some serious clouds, and I’ve recommended it to a lot of friends who agree that it’s awesome! The staff are extremely knowledgeable about their products and have turned me on to a lot of new flavors. The Five Pawns Bowden’s Mate is great for this season. It’s a tasty mint chocolate chip variety worthy trying if you have a sweet tooth but like a touch of menthol.
As a social smoker, I decided it was time to move away from cigarettes to a more healthy alternative for going out. I am so happy with the decision I’ve made! The guys at Vape Kingz make the whole process extremely comfortable, plus they have tons of yummy flavors available to sample. Their liquid happy hour which takes place daily is a great reason to pop in and purchase new juices on the cheap. They offer a loyalty program as well, which ensures that I’ll keep coming back. To sum it up my gf bought me a kit (KT Subox Mini) to help me quit cigarettes on my bday after we walked in waiting for the restaurant next door. One day in my tank is leaking 5 days later one of the spring terminals for the battery got stuck in the housing that’s when the fun started.
Called in Thursday, guy says bring it in we’ll take care of it np. Great, my gf lives in Astoria, so get some dinner and my vape fixed. LMAO at that idea, the more «experienced» guy takes it and says I don’t feel comfortable come in tomorrow the boss «master» will fix it it in 5m, he does it all day long.
I called in Friday (today) and «master manager» answers, great I think, and I tell him all my issues just bought by my gf for me 5 days ago, want to quit cigs and was told yesterday you could fix it in 15m. «Master Manager» says he is the most experienced butdoesn’t feel comfortable fixing it (I thought he did it all day long) and doesn’t even want to see it. Instead he offers me a replacement piece that cost as much as the whole kit! LOL WTF, best part is online the kits are half of what they sell in the store.
Overall horrible, unless you speak whatever language they do they won’t do anything to help you. They also told me to try KTs warranty, I sent them a email w/​serial code and pictures. Bc their some no name Chinese company they said they don’t deal w/​customers, maybe bc their too busy paying kids 5 cents a hour to make these bs kits. I loved vaping while it worked but this whole thing just left a bad taste in a mouth, I’d rather have a camel…
STAY AWAY I WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE IF I COULD. I’m in retail too and CS should be your number 1 goal, Vape Kings is selling over priced kits to unsuspecting consumers, unless you speak their language of course. I see I’m not the only one who’s had a bad interaction w them they are literally the worst, the guy around the corner from my apt in FiDi gave me a better price within 5m of walking in. This is only the second review I have ever written, that should tell you enough.

If I could give them a ZERO I would. First time I went in and got a dry hit on a sample. That is completely unprofessional in the vaping world.
Second time I went in and there was only one guy in the store on a Saturday afternoon who really had no clue as to what he was doing. He was helping a customer and he kept calling someone on the phone to ask them questions. I don’t know who is rating this place 5 stars. It must be friends of the owners.
Too bad I found a good juice despite the dry hit the first time around but the second time I went in to replace the good juice (not theirs) the guy flying solo was lost, confused, not knowledgeable and completely overwhelmed.
I really thought Astoria would have a better Vape game going on. This is just not the place to buy juice or Mods (overpriced). Don’t waste your time here. Too bad they are taking up valuable space on 30^th Avenue. They won’t last long.
UPDATE Since the manager responded so nicely below… I’ll give them a 3^rd shot when I’m in the area. I love Vaping and one more Vape shop is never a bad thing.

They were very helpful and patient with me being new to vaping. They educated me on the different models which helped me decide on the right vape for me. I’m on my way there now to pick up some more coils and juice even though it’s a bit of a travel!

I was delighted to see how friendly and helpful the staff was at vape kingz. One of the newer employees explained the pieces and didn’t try to sell me on any specific kind, nor did I feel pressured to buy anything at all the entire time. While the selection isn’t huge (it’s a relatively new and small space), the prices aren’t as overpriced as the reviewer below mentioned. My friend bought the sieglei 100w, a Nautilus 2, 30 ml of juice, a battery, and the charger for a little over 200. Compared to the cheapest prices of each piece online, it was maybe only a 30 – 35 dollar difference, which is reasonable (owning a storefront isn’t cheap); you’re also paying for customer service. Overall, a great addition to the neighborhood!

Great flavors and prices, very helpful staff to make sure you get what suits you. Bought my sigelei mod and tugboat tank for an affordable price and the menthol organic flavor is amazing just what I wanted.

I stumbled upon this place as I was walking from the train and saw the sign and being a «vape junkie» felt the urge to check it out. The store itself is very small and very disorganized. I have been vaping for several years and know a good vape shop when I see one. This was not the case at «Vape Kingz». I have visited most other vape shops throughout the boroughs (MoVapes, Beyond, City-​Vape, Henley Vaporium, etc) and the impression I got after leaving this shop was not a good one.
The counter space is tiny and was littered with various pieces of vaping equipment obscuring the view of the contents of the display case below. This place actually used to be a deli/​convenience store that was rebuilt into a make-​shift vape shop. However, the space from where the refrigerators used to sit is exposed and looks dirty.
Having vaped for a while and knowing the industry, the equipment as well as the prices, the hardware selection at this shop is very limited and extremely over priced. They were selling the kanger subtank mini for $ 55. That to me is outrageous. Aside from being able to get it online for $ 45, I can also walk into one of the other brick and mortar stores in the city and get it for the same price $ 45. Their selection of authentic mods is minimal, most are clones and those too are over priced. The sigelei 150 watt was selling for $ 150, again way too expensive. The RDA selection was minimal as well, and again most were clones. The reason I go to a vape shop is to get a safe, well built and reliable piece of vaping equipment, not to buy a cheap overseas knockoff that I can order on «fasttech» for half the price.
The thing that really bothered me most was that they «mix» their own house juice to whatever milligrams of nicotine a customer desires. They use «jjuice» and pretty much just eyeball out a mix of 18mg and 0mg to get you the desired nicotine concentration. I asked how this is done and the response was «we have a measuring system». E-​juice should be made in a lab with proper equipment and measured precisely, not just «mixed on the spot.» Also, when I asked the gentleman about the PG/​VG mix of a certain juice he was not able to answer me.
Their selection of e-​juice is decent and that is why they are getting 1 star, but that will not cause me to return to this shop. There are a lot of other vape shops in the city that are much better, cleaner and more spacious with very passionate and knowledgeable staff.

As someone who does not vape, I had no idea what I was doing when I walked in here, but all of the guys were incredibly nice and helpful. They let us try a lot of different flavors, answered all of our questions, and made us feel very comfortable. They have great products at fair prices, and they also offer different discounts (there’s a membership program as well). We are beyond pleased with this place and I really hope their business takes off – we will DEFINITELY be coming here again soon.

Just finished up a great experience at Vape Kingz, a new Vape Shop in Astoria. They’re getting 5 stars for their courteous and helpful attitude, great selection and prices. They are new in town and still getting the store together, but the potential is obvious. The owner and staff there are real cool, easy going guys. Had a nice conversation as I tried multiple flavors for over a half an hour. Not pushy or pretentious at all, a vibe I get too often in similar establishments. They fit in great with the neighborhood and I wish them all the best, Astoria needed a great vape shops like this. I’m sure this will be the first of many great reviews.
