Had a great first experience, they patched up my tire quickly. Staff was friendly and funny!
Update: went back yesterday bc another issue came up with another tire and the sensor on my car. They fixed it for free. Shane and his staff are great!

Excellent customer service, fair prices. I was helped right when I arrived and it only took 30 minutes or so to patch my tire. They offered me water and coffee and the chairs are very comfortable. Next time I’m having tire trouble I’ll be back!

Drove from Indiana and during drive heard a noise whenever going over an road expansion joint after going through mountains. Concerned took van to University Tire and Automotive. Met Scott who showed me what southern hospitality was and took van off to have inspected. While in waiting room another customer came in and wanted a alignment and after conversing with staff was told to go back to company that sold tires. The staff man stated“I could take your money and align your car but you would still have a pulling due to bad tires.” That impressed me. Few minutes later Scott came and took me to my van which was still up in air. He said that nothing could be found. Noise might have been just a coincidence or due to 5 adults and luggage weighing van down. But he couldn’t fix what wasn’t broken. No charge for inspection. These guys are good and honest.

The tire pressure monitor came on in my rental car as I was on the freeway yesterday, but I didn’t get a flat and the tire looked fine. Still, I pulled over to a gas station to take a closer look. As I filled up with gas, I looked in my rear view mirror and saw a University Tires pick-​up truck parked behind me. I thought that was a sign that I needed to ask for help from an expert. I timidly knocked on David’s passenger side window because I didn’t know what to expect. David could have just let the window down, but instead he quickly hopped out of the driver’s side and walked over and introduced himself to me, asking how could he help. I told him about the tire pressure alert and without hesitation he started checking the pressure on all of my tires, not just the one that had the alert.
He crawled under the one with the alert as I was still pumping gas. He didn’t see anything right away, but said it was probably a nail since the pressure was indeed low on that tire. He asked me to back up to his truck when I finished getting gas, which I did. He already had his truck bed door open and his tools out, threw a mat down and went to work looking for the nail. I went inside of the store to get water, and by the time I was out he had found the nail (a large staple), plugged the hole and was putting air in so I could be on my way. The whole thing probably took 8 minutes or less. David wouldn’t take any payment from me even though I asked a few times about price. I asked him if he wanted something from the store and he said he had all he needed. So I put a tip under a bottle of water in his truck bed because I know he would not have taken it otherwise.
I was SO GRATEFUL for this man’s help I wish I could have given him more money. I am here on business from Los Angeles, CA using a rental car to drive to a construction site in the middle of nowhere in Georgia each day. I am absolutely certain I would have never gotten this type of service in Los Angeles. I’m convinced David was heaven sent and I am so grateful for his wonderful customer service and downright chivalry. I would recommend David to anyone who needs tire service, he is the real deal and just wants to help.

I called several places for a price comparison, & these guys were the fairest price and the most courteous on the phone! When I dropped my car off for an oil change, they were very friendly, and happy to help. They had my car done in a timely manner. They were a pleasant group of guys, fairly priced, plus a free tire rotation, can’t beat it.
