Let me begin by saying that I love United Colors of Benetton. I think their clothes are trendy, well-fitting, and well-designed. What I do not love is this location’s disappointing men’s selection. So– 5 stars for Benetton, 2 stars for this specific store. Ok, ok, so I’m a smaller guy. Shopping for clothes can be a bit of a challenge for me. One of the joys of shopping at Benetton is the ease with which one tiny person(raises hand) can find size 28 pants/shorts and well-fitting shirts! I’ve shopped multiple times at Benetton both in DC and New York, and this was my first journey to the Atlanta store. The men’s selection was completely dwarfed by the women’s section(probably 1⁄3 vs. 2⁄3). The selection was unimpressive and watered down. I didn’t see even close to half the items advertised on their website or that I’d just seen at the New York Time Warner location a week ago. Then, there was the sizing issue. I kid not, the smallest size in shorts I was able to locate was a 36 ranging up to 50. Fail. So, the moral of the story(for guys, anyway): I. Thou shalt love United Colors of Benetton. II. Thou shalt not visit the United Colors of Benetton in its horribly watered-down Atlanta location.

I am a big fan of United Colors of Benetton and their sister store, Sisley. My favorite suit is a black Benetton suit that I got over 4 years ago that still looks as amazing and stylish today as it did then. I guess you could say they’re «ahead of their time.» Nerissa and I were shopping here last weekend and I guess I haven’t been here for a while because I realized one of my friends works here. Oops. Anyway, $ 480 later I had an awesome new pair of jeans and she had a few new shirts and a hot blazer. Not bad, especially for the quality and great service.
