Bobby Berk’s rise to bonafide «IT» status among industry leaders in home design and décor has more in common with being a rock star than it does a contemporary designer. Originally hailing from the Bible Belt, Bobby had big dreams of the big city and moved to New York in 2003 with only $ 800 to his name and no job in sight. After working his way from retail at Bed Bath & Beyond to Creative Director at Portico Home + Spa, Berk decided that it was time he started his own brand. I had a great experience shopping at Bobby Berk. The staff was very helpful and polite, especially Andrea. The merchandise is of good quality and priced accordingly. I find that in some of the other modern furniture stores in town there is a sense of arrogance and ridiculous pricing. Nice to see competition come to town.

Trying to furnish a new home is a disgustingly expensive process, and Bobby Berk isn’t going to make it any easier on me. No, it’s not insanely over the top pricey (couches $ 1500+, tables $ 250+, but some accessories ~$ 25), but it’s still blow-​a-​paycheck-​in-​a-​minute expensive. Luckily, there’s great design here.
It’s modern without being cold, with bright colors, clean lines, and a wide array of options. This is their flagship store, and there’s tons of real estate for you to admire yellow sofas, modern rocking chairs, and wooden artwork. Don’t miss downstairs, either. Or the nursery section, even if you have no plans on procreating. Everything really is just too cute.
And did I mention the service? I sometimes get the stinkeye when I roll in to modern home stores, but certainly not here. I could have stayed and chatted for hours, pretending like I was in my own beautifully decorated home. Dare to dream.

Very cute furniture store that also sells a lot of baby products! In particular, they sell the Lollacup (it’s an american made sippy cup) which is oftentimes sold out online, so I am so glad I found it in Atlanta! We came here for a Midtown Mommy Mixer and had such a great time. Be warned — they have some 10% coupons right where the checkout is. Get it before you hand over your credit card or else they won’t apply the 10% on your order. It’s not a lot, but hey, if you’re buying furniture, it might be.
Parking is free and right next to the store.

Overpriced, Ikea-​like furniture. Seriously, I would never pay $ 1000 for a composite wood TV stand with a plastic front. The person working barely greeted me and never asked if I needed help or told me anything about the store. That is unacceptable. Customer service can make up for a lot. We’ll see how long this place stays in business. Isn’t this one of those guaranteed-​to-​go-​out-​of-​business locations? If I recall, I’ve seen a lot come and go out of this space. Good luck.

Bobby Berk Home is a great destination in Midtown Atlanta for modern and contemporary furniture as well as an endless array of accessories, gifts and even baby items. It is a great addition to the Midtown landscape and most importantly has unique merchandise Atlanta has never had under one roof before. Everything from candles, to pillows to baby beds and outdoor furniture, there is something for everyone at Bobby Berk Home.
