Dunkin’ Donuts

I’ve come here and number of times and now I’ve decided to do a review. The service is consistently bad. This is the third time within two weeks I’ve ordered food and an expresso and my espresso was never made. The first time they were somewhat busy so I waited patiently as people who came in after me left with their coffees and food … after waiting about 10 to 12 minutes I asked about my order …(a iced machiatto) which was then served to me hot in an iced coffee cup. So then I had to wait again this time for another ten minutes … my more recent experience yesterday the 22^nd I did the drive thru and received two hot expresso’s when I asked for iced… they were nice about replacing it but after having to wait 5 mins for the rep. at the window to ring up my order correctly the manager asked me to pull into a parking space and it would bring out my coffee to me. I waited for an additional 10 minutes for my coffee to be bought out to me and they did not bring any straws… So and I had to go inside and grab straws. Now today the 23^rd I went in ordered a sandwich and iced macchiato the sandwich I received pretty quickly my ice macchiato I didn’t I waited for about 10 minutes and then I had to ask if anybody was making my drink. They apologized and started to make my drink but one of the female Associates there made comments about how she was making a large because I look like I needed my coffee and she said it repeatedly. Then when the coffee was finished they put too much will milk and no flavor so I had to request that it be made again. The guy apologized and remade it and it eventually came out fine but every single time I go there I have issues with my order and I’m sure it’s not just me it’s one thing to forget to make my order I’m not and another thing for me to have to wait so long for an order to be remade and even worse after having waited all that time for an order to be made incorrectly.

Weird I always stayed away from Dunkin Donuts for some reason until recently? The yellow arches around the corner could take a few lessons about service and hot food. Service is generally friendly, fast and enjoy the Breakfast Wraps with egg, cheese and ham and at a $ 1.29 go ahead order two. Don’t forget to check your mail box for the coupons and if you sign up you can receive free coffee.

First time was forgivable the second time not so they loose a star.
Twice in less than two weeks black grit has been found in the breakfast sandwiches both the Wake up wraps and Tuna croissant.
Speaking to two different managers/​shift leaders about this showing the receipts, check ins and the sandwiches in question found that parchment paper is (supposed) to be used so this doesn’t happen. So they are aware this is happening? Two to four stops a weeks have been made around the same time every morning figure it out.
SMH Obviously corners are being cut and rules not followed.
Apologies were made, money returned with an offer of a doughnut no thanks.
Now I don’t trust them with the food that is being handed over and don’t always have time to inspect before consuming it. Biting into this is an unexpected and unpleasant surprise ruining breakfast.

Bring on the fast food robots! Normally I love Dunkin Donuts. It appears to be a pretty simple formula: provide the good coffee and donuts we can find at all DDs and don’t mess up the experience.
Today after waiting a few minutes in NO line the team leader (according to the name tag) finally comes to take my order. While working something on the cash register screen she holds her bare hand on her mouth apparently in deep thought. This is the same hand that would eventually press the lid onto my coffee. GROSS!
So, no line, a wait, no «hello» or smile, and then a nice saliva smear on my coffee lid. Awesome. Won’t be back. I welcome the machines that will eventually take my order.

Worst dunkin donuts around. I gave them several chances. My order was always wrong or they were out of what I wanted. Donuts tasted a day old and sandwiches are extra greasy. Their customer service is wretched! Go elsewhere.

More disappointment from this DD. This time I had a 3 inch hair dangling out of my chicken biscuit. Why I ordered the chicken biscuit in the first place I don’t know. They are not good at all, as is the case with all of DD’s food nowadays. Shame, DD used to be one of my all time favorites. And I’ve been pretty much a daily coffee customer @ this one for years. But not any more I’m afraid. I forsake you!
UPDATE 3÷24÷15: ok, I’m a liar. I’ve gone back for coffee a few times. But I would forsake you if there were another DD on my way to work and Starbucks wasn’t the only other choice I had.

As a general rule, I truly do love Dunkin Donuts coffee and donuts. My experience this today, however, left a lot of room for desire. Actually it was somewhat like a less funny, real life version of the «meow» scene in Super Troopers.
I arrived at the drive thru and ordered as follows, «I’ll have a large coffee with cream and two Splendas and an egg white flatbread sandwich.»
Employee, «Okay that’ll be $X.xx for a medium coffee with cream and sugar and an egg white flatbread sandwich.»
Bewildered me, «No, I said a large coffee with cream and two Splendas.»
Disgruntled Dunkin Donuts employee, «That’ll be a medium coffee with cream and two Splendas. Do you still want the flatbread?»
Yours truly, «Large coffee and yes to the egg white flatbread MEOW.»
I proceeded to the second window and a different employee greeted me with, «So how many coffees did you want?»
Once I finally escaped with my one large coffee with cream and two Splendas, it was glorious as always. Seriously Starbucks has nothing on Dunkin Donuts. Shame on me for trying to be healthy and ordering the egg white flatbread sandwich rather than just indulging in a delicious Boston cream donut. The breakfast sandwich tasted like cardboard. Healthy food doesn’t have to taste bad, but this one sure did. What a letdown!
In summary, Dunkin Donuts rocks if you want a dozen decadent donuts. I would recommend going inside to get the donuts to avoid the lost in translation drive thru and whatever you do, just don’t get the egg white flatbread sandwich.

This is the closest Dunkin’ to our house. It’s dunkin donuts. Check your order because they either hire the dumbest people they can find or encourage their staff to screw things up.
In several trips:
— more than once get one cup of coffee when ordering two
— forget to put donuts in bag
— wrong sandwiches in bag
— rarely give sleeve to protect your hands
— don’t come back to the window when knocked on

If I could give this location negative one stars, I would! The individuals that both own the location and their employees are all entirely rude! I have never experienced such horrid costumer care!
(To the owners) Please reconsider your status as a popular coffee chain. Your attitude and love towards your costumers should definitely be reevaluated!

DUNKIN’ DONUTS (GENERAL):
I know it’s a chain, but they really offer a wonderful selection of donuts for every taste. Although I’d rather go to Krispy Kreme or a mom n’ pop shop for old fashion glazed, I always B-​line to Dunkin’ for their toasted coconut flavor and (more recently) the pumpkin pie flavor. Similar to pizza, to each his own– some people like donuts light and melty, but I like the dense, cake and sour cream donuts, which seems to be Dunkin’s specialty!
THIS LOCATION:
Smaller than I’d like– it’s not easy to get something and sit and eat it– It’s more of a grab-​n-​go location. Great, friendly and quick staff!

When you have to drive across town through rush hour traffic that will take you more than an hour, stop at this Dunkin. It’ll keep you perked enough to stay alert for the godawful ATL traffic.

Check your order before you leave — they do not pack all that you order! Poor customer service — go somewhere else!

This DD is probably like many others, but I am giving it 4 stars partly for sentimental reasons.
I had never been to this DD and it was not even on my radar until Tuesday’s storm. Someone posted on the SnowedOutAtlanta facebook page that the Brookhaven Dunkin’ Donuts was open and would remain so through the night (apparently, this joint is open 24 hours). I immediately liked their page and began getting updates. True to the post that I saw, Dunkin’ Donuts stayed open and was there the very next day.
I stopped by on Friday evening with my cupcake from Sugar Shack in tow to check out what this DD looked like inside and grab a small latte to complement my dessert. I was lucky because my small latte rang up at half price. I later got one for bf and asked about the special offer. I did not quite understand when it would end but if you are interested and you’re reading this at the beginning of Feb. 2014, go there and take advantage of the deal.
Another aspect that gave me such a pleasing experience at Dunkin’ Donuts (besides nostalgia, as I grew up in CT and ran on Dunkin’ – but the doughnuts, not the coffee) was when I sat down. There was only one table that was not occupied by anyone (so the joint was pretty full, which surprised me, considering SBUX’s popularity) but it did have a newspaper on its top. I asked the man sitting next to the table if he had seen anyone there. He said no, so I plopped my buns down on the counter-​height stool. I had gotten a small latte with skim milk and no sweetener. I figured the cupcake would have more than enough so I skipped out on getting any syrups or adding sugar.
As I was ready to dig in, the man next to me (who told me that nobody was sitting in the spot I was now cozying up with a Southern twang) asked the couple in front of him if they were Colombian in Spanish. If you have met me, you know that I can hold a conversation in Spanish pretty decently. I actually understood everything that the couple was saying but tried to space out because I always feel guilty that I can eavesdrop with Spanish-​speakers not suspecting in the least that I can understand them. They told him no, that one was from Uruguay (now that I think about it, I am not sure where the other person is from, as she had a different accent), and reciprocated the question. When he said he was Cuban, I had to chime in. It’s that bf is Cuban and I almost feel Cuban by association. But I know I’m not, so spare me any speeches please. They almost fell of their chairs when I turned to the man to confirm that he was Cuban. We ended up chatting for over an hour. Throw that exchange into my awesome Dunkin’ Donuts trip. We even ended up exchanging contact information.

Living on the west/​correct coast I don’t get the pleasure of partaking in the lord Dunkin unless I make a trip out of state. While I was not exactly thrilled about all of the circumstances around my trip to Atlanta I was extremely excited to be back in Dunkin Donut land. It seems to have been the only good thing I could really say I enjoyed that I was happy to pay for and even rush to go back to outside of the time I spent with a friend who’d moved from LA.
So… the scoop:
Damn I miss the hot coffee and the munckins. Fresh. Tasty. Hot. Delectable. And the sandwich was mighty fine as well. Customer service was spot on. I would hope it would be though. there weren’t any other customers.
A 3 star average experience that didn’t have anything of noteworthy astounding to praise for but bumped to a 4 simply because of what Dunkin was: an oasis in a sea of otherwise boring and not fun circumstances in a nothing town that caught my fancy.

The guy who works the drive-​through in the mornings is amazing! Thank you so much for actually having fun at your job!
The only thing I’ve ever eaten at a Dunkin Donuts is a bacon egg and cheese croissant with mayo. They do not dissapoint here! Soft and flaky.
And they don’t look at me like I’m from another planet when tell them I like my coffee half-​decaffeinated, like they do at Starbucks.

Terrible service. I live right down the street from this location and they get my order wrong more often than right. It’s not worth your time, money, or frustration. I suggest going to the Starbucks down the road instead.

This remodeled DD is awesome!
While the drive-​thru is still too tight and a little slow, everything else about it is first rate. Free wi-​fi, a sleek interior from the high top tables to the little «living room style» area, to the very friendly people who work here…yeah, I’m a fan.
DD has also expanded their menu well beyond donuts, including lunch and dinner picks that will definitely tempt you. Tonight I just needed an iced latte (very tasty, btw) and some internet time, but soon — I imagine I’ll try a breakfast or lunch sammy!

This was MY Dunkin’ Donuts in Atlanta. It was right across the street from the convenient Brookhaven MARTA station on the north end of Atlanta, right on Peachtree Road. A pit stop here, across the street from the station parking lot, after getting into my car after the train ride home was almost reflexive. It’s still there. And their stuff tastes the same. Who cares about the service? Just hand me the damn donuts.
At the top of the list were the double chocolate and the chocolate glazed donuts. It ain’t no Tim Horton’s, but it’s probably the best chain donut shop to be found all across America. For some reason, I like it better than Krispy Kreme Donuts, which look too glossy and taste too glazed.

Dissapointed on my visit to this Dunkin Donuts. Coffee was fine however my bagel and donut were another story. It would seem that my request for a «toasted» bagel was completely ignored. Additionally the cream cheese was only spread on one side of the bagel. Usually this is not a big deal and if the bagel had been toasted i wouldnt have minded as much since it is then easier to just spread the cheese or mash it together to achieve the same result. But really just laziness in the construction, this is simple folks. Also my chocolate glazed donut was poorly glazed and not fully cooked through. It would just appear that the effort level was low in the kitchen here. Hopefully they were just having a bad day. I will go back again but definitely have had better experiences at other Dunkin Donuts’

Like Carrie Neal W., I also grew up with Dunkin Donuts Munchkins every Sunday when it was served at Cathecism school. As an adult, I really found myself liking their iced coffee and coolattas.
This morning was no exception. We stopped by for a light breakfast and caffeine run. I had no idea that everyone and their mother was also craving DD’s coffee and breakfast food. There were about 5 people in line ahead of us but the staff was surprisingly efficient and we were promptly served when it was our turn to order.
I noticed the outdoor patio seating area which is nice for the warmer months and the plush, faux leather sofa and chairs inside. That was nice bonus that you wouldn’t expect to see at your local Dunkin Donuts.
My cinnamon raisin bagel was the perfect amount of chewy goodness and my original coolatta hit the spot.

They say America runs on Dunkin’ but I prefer Starbucks in my tank.
The reason I prefer Starbucks is the coffee is a lot better, just wish they carried an everything bagel; then there would be no reason to visit the DD.
I am giving this location of DD 3 stars since they are on my way to work, and they do have some delicious donuts and carry my everything bagel. They would get another star if the staff here was a little more kind to their customers and a little more efficient.
When you order here you have to say your order very clear and slow, then you have to repeat it if you want it right. After your order is place it takes them way too long to make any food; with 10 people working behind the counter. Think they might be overstaffed a little bit.
I would love it if they would build an Einstein’s Bagel in Brookhaven, then we would not need the DD or Starbucks anymore.
