Established in 1982.

We started on the front porch of our house in Anniston, Alabama with the name The Herb Shop. Since then we’ve opened around 14 stores becoming a National Manager with Nature’s Sunshine. Two years ago, my daughter Candice, opened a store in Miami combining all this health knowledge and adding colonics, foot detox and much more. In combination we have opened this store May 1st 2014 in Atlanta called Herbs for Health — Clean Start. We are excited to share our knowledge, products and service to improve others’ lives.

My name is Susan and have been in the supplement field for almost 31 years representing Nature’s Sunshine along with a few other quality brands. We know the products inside and out and have helped thousands upon thousands of people. Adding my daughter with her love of the Angel of Water Colonic machine, the EBPro Foot Detox and much more (including Doterra essential oils), we are here to educate Atlanta how to improve their health using natural therapies.

I’m already familiar with colonics so I knew basically what to expect when I scheduled my appointment with Clean Start after not being able to find the phone number for the place I usually go to, but was very pleasantly surprised and impressed with the friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, professional and helpful service. They have an amazingly diverse array of supplements for every need, including probiotics, which the other place didn’t have. I saw Yvette. She’s great. If you’ve never had a colonic before I can see that they would be great at explaining the procedure and what to expect, and walking you through it with care. Highly recommended.

Love this place! Everyone there is super helpful and knowledgable. You can tell they are genuinely passionate about helping their clients become healthier. They have natural remedies for just about anything and I especially like their herbal cleanses. Lala has been my practitioner each time and she’s amazing! Run, don’t walk to see Susan and her team! I am from California and Oregon where these types of business are readily available. I haven’t found too many here and am grateful that they are located close to my home! They are all very knowledgable on everything from allergies to gut health to just about any health issue. They have an abundance of herbs and vitamins to help with any ailment! They also offer wonderful cleansing options, like colon hydrotherapy and foot bath. They are also warm and are genuinely interested in helping people feel better!

I recently came in for my first colon hydrotherapy session for bloating and a general detox. This was my first time getting one. Lala was very nice and knowledgable and provided me with tips and advice to better improve my digestion. She was not trying to sell me a lot of products but genuinely cared about my well being and what would be beneficial. I love that they also have a host of herbal products for every ailment or part of your body you want to work on such as the dieters cleanse or for me, an herb to help relieve some symptoms that come with my asthma. I have been taking it one day and I noticeably slept better and could breathe better. The colonic has already made me feel much more lighter, less full all of the time, and more in tune with my stomach. I have already made an appointment for a second session and have told my friends to join too! So happy I found this place!

Ms. Susan is a wealth of information! And Yvette is absolutely awesome! I was suffering from the ill effects of an on again/​off again sensitivity /​allergic reaction to seafood and shellfish. When consumed and most recently even, when just smelling, my throat would get itchy and I’d feel wheezy. I mentioned this to Yvette during my colonic and she said a member of her family had this very same problem. She’d been able to successfully help him through with the product BP-​X (it’s a blood cleanser). I eagerly bought and took the BP-​X and after 4 weeks time I’ve been healed and delivered! No more allergy! I could not be any more excited… This place is awesome. I highly recommended it to any and everyone.

Went here last week for some supplements, ionic foot detox & a colonic. Good assortment on all their supplements, a lot of different cleanses available to suit all your needs.
It was my first time doing an ionic foot detox, wasn’t sure it would work, but unless the machine creates it’s own stuff to put in the water, it sure pulled a lot of toxins out if my body! The water was gross & I have a pretty healthy lifestyle. The colonic was comfortable & easy. Used the easy insert nossle. Room was comfortable & private.
