After three visits my watch watch still isn’t working properly.
This shouldn’t have been the case!
I brought in an Omega that needed to have a new crown put in.
I also brought in a Tag Heuer in as the second hand was making 5 second jumps, but still telling impeccable time.
I was told by the Michael with Icebox this was the watch’s way of telling me it needed a new battery.
We agreed to put in a new battery and I asked that the posts holding the bracelet be checked as they are prone to bending.
I was told that the repairman would look at the posts as a matter of course.
A couple of days after getting both watches back, I noticed that the bracelet was put on the Tag watch backwards. I brought it back and this was remedied.
Then I noticed that the date wasn’t lining up with the watch face, which wasn’t lining up with the bezel, which wasn’t lining up with the body of the watch.
When I went to pull out the crown to line up the date, it came out of the watch.
I took the watch back at Icebox to have these issues taken care of.
When I went back to collect the watch, I was told that it had been easier to replace the movement on the Tag to fix several of the issues.
I looked over the watch closer this time than I had before and nothing was glaring wrong with the watch.
I picked up the watch and wore it out of the store.
I’ve now had the watch for a week and there is actually something glaring wrong, it runs ~60 secs slow a day.
I thought I may be wrong, but I’ve reset the watch twice and come to the same conclusion each time.
I’m beside myself. How could this really be a thing and how could a watch repair person let a watch out of their care with these sort of issues, repeatedly?
My understanding is that Swiss time pieces are precision instruments; shouldn’t the people working on them strive for a similar precision?
I can understand how a minor issue may slip through the cracks, but now we are looking at 1.) the bracelet, 2.) the crown, 3.) the movement/​calendar 4.) the face of the watch being off (and still a ½−1 mm off by the way), 5.)timing issue of ~60 secs over a 24 hour period (this is a big discrepancy).
If it was me I’d have made sure the watch was in absolute proper working working order the first time, much less the third time.
I appreciate that Icebox tried to make it right and that and their customer service was solid.
They need a new watch repairman though…
I’m going to send this watch to Tag now.
Update: I sent the watch back to Tag because the hands fell off when they opened the watch they told me that the face face was glued to the movement.
Do not subject your timepiece to this, please learn from my mistake.

I came in here just to browse around for a watch for my boyfriend. I’m a bit particular about the styles I’m into, plus I’m huge on proper customer service. The knowledgeable, genuinely eager-​to-​please service that I have experienced at Icebox with Michael Smith is as though I were a dear friend of the owner.
I brought a few pieces of jewelry to repair (some particularly unusual and challenging). Other jewelers have taken a quick look and dismissively said they didn’t do such work with no interest in helping me find someone who could repair the pieces.
My experience with Michael at the Icebox was a shock — only because he was so knowledgeable and eager to assist! He quickly assessed the issues and offered insights into what could be done! It was clear that he had my best interest at heart after exploring the options for repairing a rare piece from another country and suggesting that they would be able to fix it, but it would probably be more costly than if I took it to another jeweler that frequently worked with that kind of jewelry. Then he actually looked up the address, hours and phone number of that jeweler and gave me directions on how to get there!
Another repair involved a rare necklace with many pieces. It broke and fitting all of it back together to once again look like the precision piece is a task that will require much time and patience. Michael has adopted the task like a world-​class puzzler– even calling to suggest that he thought an unusual type of chain would give the necklace it’s original precision — and asked if I would want him to explore to find it.
I picked up two of the repaired pieces today, and I am convinced. I will never go anywhere else!!! I’m even suggesting to my mother that she send a necklace to them from Florida!
I am deeply appreciative to everyone there, especially Michael! I now am able to wear and one day pass on to my children some treasured pieces of family jewelry that I thought were never to be worn again!!!

It’s kinda funny when you try to sell someone something and they end up selling you too. I came into Icebox to meet with the owners to deliver their Atlanta Dream season seats. I had no idea how cool the place is. They’re not only knowledgeable about jewelry but they hold great conversation about normal fun things too. I’m excited to get another watch from here soon.

I recently purchased an engagement ring from Icebox. From the beginning the customer service provided was top notch. I discussed some ideas with Zahir about how I wanted to design the ring, and after about a week he got back to me with a design that was exactly as I wanted. They were able to make the ring and help me choose a quality diamond as well. Going into this I did not know very much about diamonds and engagement rings but their knowledgeable staff especially Zahir helped me pick out the perfect diamond and make the perfect ring. Thanks again for everything Icebox! I’ll definitely be buying watches from you as well in the future!

The service, professionalism and expertise this team has is the best in the industry! Simple watch and jewelry cleanings and even some of my larger purchases were smooth and easy! I love Rafi and his team. They seriously are one well oiled machine. Not to mention the stylish Rolexes they sell, their diamonds are flawless! I couldn’t think of another place to get jewelry from. I’ve driven by this place for 3 years and never stopped in because the name kind of threw me off… Today around 6:00pm I used Unilocal to find a jewelry store that was open so I could get my new watch sized. The first one to come up was Icebox so I drive right over. As soon as I stepped inside I was pleasantly surprised. It was bright and shiny and there was an attentive person at the front who greeted me right away and directed me to the back for service and repair. While I waited to have my watch sized I looked around and of course had plenty to look at! They have a huge selection of jewelry and watches and even a large monitor that you can customize and piece of jewelry to your liking. Everyone I interacted with was very kind and helpful. I had my watch sized in a matter of 10 minutes for $ 10 and even got some prices on some custom jewels! Great experience and will definitely return the next time I’m in the market for diamonds!

I’ve always been into white metals when it comes to jewelry but they do come with the need for rhodium and other maintenance. I don’t have a go to place in Boston so when I come down to Atlanta I like how they take care of me here at Icebox. I don’t remember how long its been since I came the first time but it has to be at least 7 or so years! See you all next time.

Icebox had helped one of my friends design the engagement ring of her dreams. According to her they listened to her every detail, gave her advice on what would work and what would not and in the end she could not be any happier.
Upon working with them I happened to noticed that my own engagement ring and wedding band were really loose. I was at a point where I couldn’t wear my band alone because it was thin and loose and I was afraid I was going to lose it.
Although Icebox did not design my ring nor was it purchased through them, they quickly told me that they would help me out. From the moment they started to size up my rings to the moment I got them back I felt like I was in the right hands. I ended up having to leave my rings with them and have them shipped back to me. I gotta tell you, that made me very nervous. My stone was a family heirloom and I don’t know what I would’ve done if I had lost it. Within 24 hours I received a call that my rings were ready for pick up (I’m so used to places telling me that I had to wait two weeks, because they don’t have a jeweler in house). I was amazed at how quick they were able to size them. When my rings arrived it was almost like Christmas all over again! I got two boxes, one for each ring and a whole kit to clean my rings and other jewelry. My fingers are pretty small and I was a little worried that there would be a little bit of warping in my original design, but upon inspection the rings were perfect. My husband and I have already talked over this. When we want to purchase more jewelry we are definitely coming to them.

On my latest trip to the ATL, I just happened to stumble upon this jewelry store. I really wasn’t really looking to buy anything but was just browsing around. I have been to many places over the years and often times you come in just looking to browse and you are harassed and pushed to buy something. That was not the case here. They were very professional and not pushy at all. I was able to look around freely and when I had a few questions, Mo, was able to answer them for me. Overall, it was a great experience and I never felt pressured.

I’ve never sold jewelry before, so I honestly had no idea what to expect. I don’t have other experiences selling jewelry to draw from, but my expedience with Jenee at Icebox was very professional.
They have a spectrometer to determine the gold purity. I sold a 14K white gold wedding band which was 14K and a part of ear rings that were marked as 14K. To my surprise the ear rings were determined to have 21K gold settings.
Selling to Icebox was easy and I would definitely work with Janee again.
The only reason for not giving 5 stars is not having other experiences to compare.

Bought some diamond solitaire earrings for my girlfriend as an anniversary gift and had no clue about what to get. The friendly sales people helped me every step of the way not once making me feel pressure to buy anything! Ended up getting some awesome 2 carat studs! They even threw in a sweet jewelry cleaner! Did not expect this level of service, especially being from out of town. Would definitely recommend Icebox Jewelry to anyone! May even be getting my engagement ring from here!
