Welcome to my law practice, the Law offices of Timothy G. Cook. I am dedicated to helping individuals with their concerns regarding filing bankruptcy, including Chapter 7, Chapter 13, and small businesses with Chapter 11.

I also help individuals and families with their various family law needs including divorce, child custody, and visitation matters. My contract law practice focuses on residential real estate contracts, landlord-​tenant disputes, consumer disputes with businesses, lawsuits involving credit card companies, and lawsuits brought by debt buyers.

History

Established in 1997.

Solo Law practice established in Marietta, Georgia. Initially, my practice focused on domestic relations and landlord tenant law. I moved primarily into bankruptcy law in 2000.

Business Owner

Mr. Cook received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Christopher Newport College of the College of William and Mary in 1976. After graduation he spent several years working as a controller for various hotels and horse farms. He joined Red Roof Inns in 1980 and for six years held positions as a manager, regional manager, and accounting manager. He moved to Atlanta in 1986 and worked in management for two hotels and as a business broker for small businesses. Mr. Cook attended John Marshall Law School in Atlanta.
