I have been in search of a good, reliable hair dresser who focuses on hair health. I noticed a lady’s shiny hair and questioned where she had it done. She referred me to Myschka Salon. I mentioned that I’m a very busy, working, wife, mom of three and needed someone who was timely. When she cringed and said she schedules her visits in the morning to avoid a wait, I should have known!
I scheduled an appointment, and arrived 15 minutes early. 25 minutes later (10 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment), when she was a no-​show I attempted to call her – the phone call was met with the message «this number is not accepting calls at this time.» I waited 20 more minutes… still a no-​show. I was upset, I left. A full hour after my scheduled visit, she calls me to question where I am. SAY WHAT!!!
I was in a bind… had an event the next day and it would have been hard to find a stylist on such short notice at that time of day. So, I drove ALL the way back. Get this, when I got there I had to wait even longer because she had someone else in the chair!
Once the waiting was over, the cut and press style was finished, my hair looked great. She gave some tips on vitamins and hair products. I believe the finishing products she used to add shine to my hair ended up weighing it down, as my hair was greasy and flat two days later (usually lasts 5 days at a minimum).
The style was almost worth my $ 90. My TIME, however is way more valuable, and for that reason I won’t be back. I should mention that the entire time I was getting my hair done (took about an hour) there was another woman waiting for the other stylist at the shop – she even stuck her head in and asked if the stylist was showing up. When I left she was still waiting LOL.
