25 years ago I became involved in the Renaissance of floorcloths. I wanted the addition in my studio of work that was utilitarian. Something accessible, easy to use in everyday homes & offices. The floorcloth has that versatility and affordability.

It is an heirloom craft that lasts for generations and can be personalized as well.

An artist in the Atlanta community for 30 years, Callahan has directed a private art studio since its establishment in 1974. Her work combines symbolic aspects of myth with a personal narrative. Callahan created floor cloths as a way to make art that would be utilitarian, useful in home and business.
