This place was recommended by a friend of mine so I decided to come get a nose piercing while I was in the area. Morgan did a great job and kept everything super professional. They really know what they’re doing. I highly recommend coming next time you’re thinking about a piercing.

Great staff and highly professional. Not to mention Bethrah is one of the very few if not the only piercer in Atlanta that that is apart of the association of professional piercers; which should be very important to those seeking piercings (unless it’s just your ears).
I highly recommend this shop and will continue to see Bethrah for any other piercings in my future

I’ve been thinking about getting a daith piercing for a few months now. Been trying to working up the nerve since I don’t like needles and my only previous piercings were in my lobes so many years ago at the mall.
I finally got up the nerve this week and a friend/​coworker offered to go with me if I went at lunch. So, we went! Everyone was so nice. I wasn’t talked down to or made to feel odd because I was nervous. Morgan was amazing with me. He helped me pick out my jewelry, explained the sterilization process, etc. After I did my paperwork and everything was sterilized, he called me back, showed me the placement, had me lie down, I was told to keep breathing, then a deep breath on the exhale it was done. There was some discomfort while the ring was put in, but no pain! I was told to come back in 4 – 6 weeks to have it looked at to make sure things were healing well.
When/​if I’m ready for another piercing, I’ll definitely be going back to see Morgan!

There’s a good reason you shouldn’t go to the mall to get piercings done.
My experience at Virtue & Vice was great from start to finish. I went in the late afternoon on a Saturday to have a second piercing in my left ear and a third in my right. Morgan came right over, and immediately noticed that my original piercings (over 30 years old) were no where near level (see mall reference above). He spent a good bit of time measuring my ears, offering different options, and providing advice about how to proceed. I ended up having my left ear completely repierced and leaving the right alone for the moment, which was a good option, it looks great, and I’m only having to manage one ear right now.
Beyond that, everyone in the place was completely professional, kind and thorough. Face it, these are people who pierce for a living (again, see mall reference above), and they clearly care about doing a great job and making their clients happy. So glad I ended up there!

I’ve been pierced here twice and both experiences were exceptional. Most recently I had the pleasure of working with Morgan who gave me a triple lobe piercing. What I specifically appreciated about my experience with Morgan were three things: he was an effective and imaginative problem solver, he became excited with me about my piercing and had observable fun while doing it, and his professionalism was ACES. Virtue and Vice put holes in people in a more professional, legitimate, totally transparent way than anywhere I’ve ever been in SC, NC, VA, or GA. I would (and have!) recommend any of the professionals – but specifically Morgan and Bethra – to anyone seeking a quality piercing experience.

I tried another piercing shop that was close to my house because I lost my nose ring and needed to replace it before my hole closed up. My experience there wasn’t great, they didn’t offer to sterilize my jewelry, the rep had no gloves on and advised me to just insert the nose ring straight out of the case. Big fat no, so I came back to Virtue and Vice which is where I originally got my piercing done. Upon entrance I was greeted and told them I lost my nose ring and needed to replace it. I was asked what type of jewelry it was (corkscrew, curved, etc). I told them it was curved. I was presented jewelry to choose from, the jewelry was adjusted to my nose, and it was STERILIZED. They also reinserted it for me after the sterilization process was complete. Totally different experience than the neighborhood spot I tried. I’ll just drive farther to Virtue and Vice, even for things as small as needing new jewelry.

Morgan was an AWESOME piercer! He was professional and informative!

My daughter and I went in to have piercings. The staff was extreme friendly and knowledgeable. We were both nervous but Bato and Morgan made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Each step of the process was explained. I would definitely go back and recommend.

FIRST OF ALL I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU BATO. I’m always nervous around the needle, or at least anything sharp but I was ready. I’ve been enlightened by the needle rather then using a gun, especially since my ears are sensitive.
SO looking around, this place had the best reviews and the best background! And I’m so glad that I decided to stick with this place, bato, my piercer, was amazingly reassuring and the whole process wasn’t that bad! (got three done)
I wish I could thank him 5 million times more!
Anyways yes, this place is informative, and just the best around. (plus price isn’t that bad either)

Clean facility and super friendly staff. They were well versed in piercing and after care.

I really like getting pierced here! Summer helped me pick out jewelry and answered all my questions. My piercer, who’s name I forget, was great at explaining why I shouldn’t get certain piercings based off of the anatomy of my ear. It was a very pleasant experience.

I decided on a whim to get a daith piercing and haven’t had anything pierced in about 15 years, so I decided to give Virtue and Vice another go (that’s where I used to get stuff done back in the early 2000’s).
I had a great experience tonight.
When I walked into the studio, Tamar greeted me — she’s such a great first impression for the studio — very professional and knowledgable (also has a very calming presence). She took me through all the details, answered the questions I had and helped me select my jewelry.
My piercer was Chad. He’s a SUPER nice guy, did a great job of calming the nerves that I had and was very very detail oriented when it came to placement and procedure. The piercing itself was painless (there was just that slight tugging /​twisting pain during getting the ball in place and whatnot, which is to be expected).
I will definitely come back again for a jewelry change once my daith heals and probably even before then if another spur of the moment piercing desire hits.

Got my nose pierced here last month and it was a really great experience. The girl working the front is EXTREMELY knowledgeable about piercings. I forgot the name of the guy that pierced me but he was very gentle. He also took time to really look at my face to pick a spot for the piercing that was most ascetically pleasing. SUPER CLEAN! I highly recommend.

My first piercing at almost 40. Was a bit nervous. This guys know what they are doing! They walk you through stuff, they take all safety precaution.
The procedure was quick and practically painless.

After waiting over seventeen years to pierce my ears, I figured I had to get them done at a place a little bit more official than a store in a mall.
I’ve visited this store on two separate occasions, to get my lobes and doubles done. The first time I was pierced it was quick, painless, and friendly. The sterilization process was reassuring and the privacy of the piercing room was comforting.
When returning for my doubles, the piercings I got done were actually a little bit off so I called the store. They eagerly offered for me to come back to redo them the same day. Even though I was initially unhappy the first time I left, after returning I was pleased with the final product.
When I decide to get my triples, I will absolutely be giving my business to this shop instead of my local Claire’s.

Wonderful experience — V&V is super clean/​sterile and professional. Staff is really nice and know what they’re talking about. Morgan did a great job piercing my cartilage and he’s just so nice! He made me feel super at ease and did an awesome job. I highly recommend this place!

I was very impressed by the cleanliness and professionalism here. I came with a friend who had her cartilage done and I had a second hole in my lobe. We came on a Saturday afternoon and didn’t have to wait — although after we had gotten started, there ended up being a line of a few people behind us. We picked out our piercings, got all the info on how to take care of them afterwards, paid, and then went back in a private room to have the piercings done. All in all, took about 20 – 30 minutes. You do have to wait for them to sterilize your jewelry along with the tools after you choose what you want. Overall, great experience would definitely come back!

Thank you to Morgan for putting a hole in my nose and helping to create the most amazing accessory on my person! It’s so versatile~
Everything I encountered upon walking in a few weeks ago has already been covered in detail in other reviews, so I’ll just add a bit about my own experience. I had my septum pierced by Morgan, who was so careful and quick, I hardly felt a thing. He even wiped my tears away, when a few stray drops slipped past. SO GENTLE! That was like the super sweet physicians assistants that you deal with at the doctor.
I’d also like to mention that at the time of my piercing, there were only women in the lobby, and we’d all gone in to get our noses pierced, the woman that came out before me was so pleased with the stud in her nose, and the girls that went after me were getting studs in their nose as well and it was just a really positive experience because we were all so pumped and happy. and cute.

So back right after high school, I had gotten a lip piercing in an act of rebellion against those 13 years of Catholic school, but unfortunately not that far along later it fell out in my sleep and for some reason I wasn’t super interested in putting it back in.
Probably because you know, when I had it done, I had a needle sticking out of my face for an extended period of time because someone screwed up.
So I wasn’t in a hurry to do anything else.
Fast forward like almost 8 years and I’m wishing I had something.
Then I moved within super close walking distance of Virtue & Vice. And was quitting a job that banished any piercings beyond two in each ear. So you know what I did 3 hours after getting home from my last shift. I walked over here and got my nose pierced.
HOLY INFORMATION OVERLOAD! (But don’t worry, they give you a guide, a little card with the info on your piercing, and you have their number to call in case any questions come up) I just walked in, it wasn’t busy, so I was helped right away. I wish I could remember who I talked to at the front, but she gave me the basics and then showed me all the jewelry I could pick, even going in depth about what the difference is between going for a straight stud or something that more aligns with your nose.
They have so many options, it was kind of difficult to make a decision so I’m really glad nobody else was there.
The thing I think was coolest is that they show you this strip of paper, and you initial it. It has just a faint yellow line on it then, but after sterilization, it’ll turn black.
Then it was time for all the aftercare instructions. They recommend a lot more healing time and care than I’ve ever heard, which I actually really appreciate. My friend was going on about how she did this and that after a few weeks but I’m quite fine with a more intense approach because I’d rather not take any risks with something on my face.
I got my aftercare stuff from them, which was an anti-​microbial soap and sea salt. It was $ 6 for the two which isn’t that bad, saves you a trip if you don’t have these things at home. They give you the option between an all natural soap and a medical grade soap.
I sat and waited about 10 – 15 minutes, while everything sterilized and then it was game time.
Bato was my piercer and he was so awesome. Once you’re there, he shows you that black line and that you indeed did initial that strip. Even though nobody else was there, it was still cool they do this.
He cleaned everything and then had me lay in a kind of weird position and close my eyes since the whole process can make your eyes inadvertently water.
It really didn’t hurt, it was just a pinch and that was that. It bled a bit and I sat there for a few minutes while he made sure I was fine and everything, which I really was. The only pain I had was for a couple hours later in the day, sort of the way a headache feels and it subsided after a good nap. (My second of the day, don’t judge me.)
I’ve been taking care of it like I should and will be back soon enough to just do a check in that everything is going well, which it is! I love this piercing so much.
Next there may be a few other things in my ears worth exploring… this isn’t the best thing to live right by is it?
Everyone here is so well informed and they go above and beyond what they need to do, and I really appreciate that they do this. It may cost a bit more, but I’d rather pay more for someone to do it right the first time than leave a needle in my face.

I am pretty intimidated by places like this… Virtue and Vice is the outlier. The staff was SO kind and cool. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Morgan is awesome. I didn’t even feel my tragus piercing… would recommend him to anyone!
