Auburn Way Autos

After almost 3 months, I am updating my review. I was promised verbally and in writing that the sunroof would be fixed on my car and that I would get a complimentary oil change, because the oil change light was on when I bought the car. The service center and the staff at Auburn Way Autos was quick to contact me to schedule a time for the GPS tracking device to be put in my car, but has been giving me the run around about the oil change and the sunroof. I have called the service center at Auburn Way Autos several times and Yesterday was my 2^nd time physically going down to the service center only to be told they couldn’t help me or they need to talk to whoever about the sunroof and any other excuse they could come up with. I am done trying to chase their staff to get the promised work done, I am going to pay to get the work done elsewhere this week.
Be sure to have your own mechanic take a look at the car, because when I went the first time to get the work done on the car, I heard one of the sales guys asking the the service center manager if they were going to «Reset the engine light on the 2002…»
I thought when I went to purchase a car that the staff was being genuine and really trying to take care of their customers, but no, they are no help and once you sign the agreement they are done with you. DO NOT SIGN FOR A CAR IF THEY DO NOT TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR RIGHT THEN AND THERE!

Just purchased my new vehicle from Gerald & crew. These guys really want to expedite the process of buying a vehicle and they do it well. Each person has their own specific responsibilities/​specialties and the flow of the process runs so smoothly. After 7 hours at 2 other dealerships, our hunt for a car finally ended there AND we were only took 1.5hrs. Everything that Gerald said would happen… he made it happen! Bought a car here today from these guys. Yes it was a bit overpriced but aren’t all dealerships? We went around to a few other dealerships and got some crummy treatment down the street. This was one of our last stops and it turned out very well. I am not really in a position to be all that picky about a car and I don’t feel like I was swindled or ripped off.
I told them a price I had to stay under and Tom worked with us great. He seemed very genuine and made a deal that worked well for us. His personality and helpfulness was a nice change of pace from some of the previous sales people.
The bad reviews really surprise me. I hope I don’t have any serious issues with the car or dealership.

Update: car has had a ton of issues. Spent over 3,000 in repairs within first 6 months. For the condition of the car I should be paying ½ of what I am. I feel they were definitely not up front and honest with the condition or problems with the vehicle, but then again they’re car salesmen. It is very possible they don’t know much about cars at all.
I admit that I am not well versed in cars and that I was in desperate need of one due to my last car being stolen. But I don’t think that makes it okay to sell me a vehicle that is in poor condition and try to pass it off as great.
This car has broken down on the side of the road and in the middle of intersections in the middle of the night when I’m on my way home from work.
Overall — meh. Husband and I are already looking at other options

All there vehicles are pieces of shit and they all are money hungry. All there vehicles have a problem with there engine how do I know, I was given 2 vehicles to take home that had issues. The vehicle I have now had a few problems and Gabriel promised to have them fixed needless to say I got fucked. They had my car for 7days to ‘fix’ I live 1hour away from this crappy place and have a new born. Needless to say I get home and what he promised was never fixed. The engine light goes back on and the gas gage keeps going up and down. I called Gabe and the owner answered and said we didn’t promise you anything I said Gabriel did he said he would have Gabriel give me a call; Gabriel has yet to call me. (Fucked me over so many times.) DONT GET SCREWED By THIS PLACE!

Never buy from this dealership! The sales and service people are money hungry scam artist they prey on female buyers. I purchased a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix and was severally overcharged. Also, the car had multiple issues. I contacted the dealership on several occasions to no avail. I was given the run around and spoken to rudely by the service manager/​owner. After having the car for 6 months the transmission went out.
A mechanic told me the car had never been serviced prior to me purchasing it, plus, the spark plugs, O rings, battery etc had been in the car since it was manufactured 7 years ago. To make matters worse, Auburn Way changed my oil 3 months prior (because of a customer service issue) but failed to notice the oil pan was leaking and full of grime and filth.
Run as fast as could from these guys. You will get robbed for sure. Take it from me.

STAY AWAY!!! Worst customer service ever and so dis organized. Bought a car from here since I was referred here. Then the Monday after I bought it the teenage girls that work the office call and want more documents and wanted me to bring right then… UM no if i was told they were needed i would have brought then. Told them I wuld bring when i brought my car in to get a dent fix but they wouldn’t schedule that until i brought docs in. so i did then was scheduled Monday to drop car off have dent guy fix tuesday and be done, well go figure dent guy was never confirmed so again i had to come back. next day came back gave me a loaner (which smelt like wet dog) had my dent fixed. yesterday i get hole to a letter in my mail stating my new license plates where there… REALLY the last 3 times i was there and no one seemed to mention it, so go pick up and my name is misspelled on the registration which i corrected the girls in office when i bought my car that my name was misspelled. so again call Tom the manager was rude and a jerk like always and said they will see what they can do… REALLY. So tomorrow i get to spend my sat at dmv to fix their mistake. Also they say if you refer you will get a 100 yeah right they try everything in there power to not do that… I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS again and neither should you. they aren’t professional at all and don’t care if there mistakes put you out

I want to start off with some history that I came to Gaberilla with when I came there in November to buy my car was this… I came back here cause I knew that you guys would do two things for my family (of five) 1. Put us in a car that was going to last awhile and be worth my money, 2. Take care of us! So your asking yourself came back. Here is how my first experience went, Frank my oh so lovely salesperson (who I would like you to know Gaberilla told me was fired and in jail, GREAT lie) sold me and my grandpa a Jeep Liberty that I oh so loved so much. He told me to get a better rate it would be better if just he was on the loan. So my mom and I said ok and my grandpa agreed to it. I gave you money down, fixed a huge problem with the brakes (with no complaints) and made my monthly payments toward the vehicle. (3000.00 I put in this car). To then have a knock on the door in the middle of the night by a gentleman that was sweet enough to let me get my belongings out before repossessing my car. When I asked him why he said he wasn’t sure. SO the next day I call the bank to find out they don’t do loans where the one on the loan is not driving the car. There 3000.00 down the drain. Now thank you for taking care of the problem, and I felt relief finding out that the sales person was taken care of for this happening before too. So now here I am again dealing with the same crap. I am told by Gaberilla that he is sorry for what has happened he is going to make sure nothing goes wrong this time and make it right… I laugh at myself for falling for it again and shame on you for running a business like this. I have read nothing but horrible stuff of people going thru the same thing. So now here I sit with a Durango that is going to have a blown engine. I did my research and grew up around cars to know that a 1000 miles over an oil change is not going to do that much damage. So I gave Gaberialla and you credit he said he was going to make it right and make sure we are happy. He asks if I can put anything down and I tell him I don’t know tell I talk to my husband. That back fired. So tell me how you are going to make my HAPPY by putting me in a car that is going to cost me more a month, plus puts me out 1500.00 that I have given you, and now you want another 3000.00 for you selling me a Lemon.(if you wanted a 1000.00 down might have happened) You can’t tell me that car was perfect before you sold it. So now I have given you almost 4500.00 with nothing to show, going to have to spend 2000.00 to get an engine, then another 4000.00 to pay the car off. So basically starting over. THANK YOU. I don’t have this money just laying around. SO here is what I am going to do.

1. I have contacted Get Jesse (and will keep emailing him daily)
2. Contacted Michelle Estaban with Komo (who is a close friend of the family)
3. I am going to find anywhere and everywhere I can to rate you/​review you and make it know what I have gone thru
4. I have contacted an attorney, and will keep perusing this. Along with finding people who have been thru the same thing.
I will be also calling my lean holder and talking to them about what I can do with my loan. Cause I am now paying for a Lemon. (I have done my reading).
