You can come to us… Choose from a wide array of group training classes, for puppies and dogs of all ages and skill levels, all held in one convenient location in Kent, WA. We are the only company in the area to offer classes specifically designed to help dogs that are aggressive towards dogs or people.

We can come to you… If you live in South King County, our behavior specialist can come to your home to help fix virtually any behavior problem you might be having with your dog, including complex issues such as aggression and fear. We can also assist with all levels of obedience training, and well as new puppy introductions.

Jennifer S.

Business Owner

Jennifer started Pick of the Litter Dog Training in 1997, and she has put her whole life and passion into her business. She works will hundreds of dogs each year and has for the 15 years she has been in business as a professional dog trainer. She strives to have many different solution to every behavior problem, as well as to create customized solutions to fit each individual dog.

Jennifer has her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with an emphasis on animal learning and motivation. She received national certification of a dog trainer in 2006. She is a certified mentor trainer for Animal Behavior college, as well as a certified Canine Good Citizen evaluator for the American Kennel Club.

Jennifer specializes in «stubborn» dogs or dogs that other trainers refer to as «untrainable». She has extensive experience in dealing with dogs that are fearful, reactive or aggressive. She is a family oriented individual that understands the role dogs play in the lives of children and families.
