Our Golden looks extra adorable after just a few hours here. You can tell they really care about your fur-​babies as much as you do. As you can tell, we keep bringing her back! I really appreciate that I can bring the dog here and she’s well taken care of and comes back clean and free of those pesky mats.

I went to pick my dog up from being cleaned to see her cowering in the back of a kennel shaking. It was the saddest thing I have ever seen. They had a huge fan on her to dry her off and she was obviously terrified of the thing. I get that this may have been the easiest way to dry her off but thats unacceptable if the dog is obviously traumatized by it. Also, the lady working was really rude when we dropped her off. From begining to end, this experience was bad.

U can tell by their success with this shop. keep up the great job. i noticed a new dog wash/​groomer in town just blocks away. behind the old cubbies. doesnt appear nearly as clean or professional. just based on outside appearences…

I love bringing my dog here. The staff is very friendly and always come by and greet my dog while I’m bathing her. I’ve also dropped her off for grooming, their service was fast and great!

I went here off of a friend’s recommendation I like the setup you can watch your animal being groomed to make sure that they’re being taken care of and to make you feel better too. The price is fine. My issue was with the groomer Salina. What a snot. After my first impression with her I almost took my cat out of there I’m big on listening to your gut and following vibes. I’ll start off by saying one thing good about her the cut on my cat was good she didn’t cut or knick him. But her attitude was something else… first she started giving me a 3^rd degree and dirty looks as questioning why I was getting my long haired cats hair cut. Which was really irritating to me. Why is she even asking me why I’m doing this? I don’t have to give her any reason to ask for a haircut on my cat. That stopped me dead in my tracks I was going to just drop him off and come and pick him up after I was finished with work but I decided to be late going back for lunch because her attitude was so stinky. I told her about poop getting stuck to his tail and she said well you know he still going to shed even though it’s short… And I’m just thinking in my head wow what is her problem and why is she doing this for a living. Just a straight up snot face. The setup is open open so dogs are being groomed right next to cats there’s a lot going on and it’s really loud so obviously my cat was fearing for his life and when there was room for him to try to wiggle away he did and every time he did she would yank him back and I don’t want to use the word yell but it was definitely louder and more aggressive snip at him with a tone and say NO. First off it’s not going to stop a cat and I’m surprised that she does that because a lot of cats when under stress from strangers will hiss or claw… so I’m not sure how successful that’s been for her. I also asked her not to trim the hairs in between his toes and she did exactly that started trimming the hairs in between his toes. Only because I was standing there watching her was able to catch it. Ugh. Anyways I’m thinking okay he’s not even going to understand you the only thing he’s going to pick up from you is if you’re trying to be soothing to him and good vibes as with any animal. I’ll never let her cut my cat’s hair again I called the owner let her know how I felt. She said Selina does not always having a good temperament with the owners but is great with the animals. I told her no she’s not good with anyone. Human or animal. She said she would talk to her and seemed genuine in listening to what I had to tell her. For that, I will return. there’s another girl that cuts cats hair that works there I’ll try her out and will update.

Eliza did much better. Better temperment with my cat. No aggresive tone. Took her time. She was nice to me. My appointment was for 9 but she told me she was going to bathe a dog first then get to my cat. She started around 920. I’m bumping the Stars to three.

What a fantastic experience. I brought both my dogs in for grooming, glands and nails. The team here was quick to greet me and answered all my questions. They had both dogs done really fast. My fur babies look and smell great. I am very impressed and won’t go anywhere else ever again. Highly recommend.

I have come here a handful of times and I don’t think I will ever go back to the big chain pet stores for grooming and bathing. The employees here really seem like they know what they are doing and they care about the animals. My pugs always seem to have a good experience and their prices are very reasonable for the great job that they do. Nice people and a nice atmosphere!

I’ve been taking my lab here for several years and every time they’ve been great. They have her special needs (not being blow dried) noted and take extra time to hand dry her and then allow her to hang out for a few additional minutes while she dries. It’s easy to get an appointment at near last minute, usually I can call on Friday and get an appointment for Saturday or Sunday.
Above all, they’ve always been kind and gentle with my dog and she always comes home happy and looking beautiful. In addition to all those important elements, they are also very reasonably priced.

Very good groomers especially for a cat! Took my long hair there today to help avoid hair balls that have been showing up and I will be back! They also got it done within an hour! Great job!

First time here… Lon Chaney is gone, and Stick Woman is back. Thank you for that Tiki Tails! Tessie’s groomer did a good job, but her cut was a little uneven in spots. I probably won’t come back.

Took my dog here today for a grooming and I was very shocked to see how poorly they did. I specifically asked for his hair on the head to be left long yet they completely disregarded my request and instead shaved it shorter than it’s ever been! His hair is completely uneven all over as if they forgot to brush him before giving him a haircut. Not only that, the lady that checked me out nonchalantly informed me that there’s a razor cut on my dogs front paw. No apology, jus said if it gets infected they’ll cover the vet bill. I will never be back and definitely do not recommend this place!

I live in Redmond and drive all the way to Auburn to have my King Charles groomed here. Not only are all the employees super-​friendly and knowledgeable, but it’s a great deal!!! I would recommend this place to anyone!

My 2 boys are both 14 years old (100 in human terms). I love them. They are my kids. They squirt and spurt. They have lumps and bumps and I’m sure they are not fun to groom. Eliza is always patient and respectful with them and I am so grateful for her. I hope if I reach 100 years old someone will love me as I love my dogs.
Update: My last boy is gone. I am so grateful that these folks took care of both my dogs for at least the last 5 years. They sent a lovely card to me on my last dog’s passing. This is truly a caring business.

My dogs seemed traumatized about their grooming visit here and frankly so was I. It is so loud and it did not help that one of the groomers was yelling at the little dog it was grooming and yanking on it. I will not be taking my dogs back ever.

Razor burned behind my dogs ear… When I picked him up did not tell me. Noticed it right away. The burn was so bad it had to be noticed. Respectable just to let the customer know so they can at least treat the burn.

After my dachshund and I won a 5k at Auburn’s PetPalooza, we received a gift certificate to Tiki Tails. We had never heard of it and live not too far from it. I think the location could be in a better place and better signage could really help pull more customers in. The owners, Mike & Michelle, are very friendly and will help show you the process. If you are doing self-​wash, there has never been any wait for me but you need to call and schedule for a groomer.
They have a handful of wash stations, aprons, different types of shampoos (flea, sensitive, deep clean) & conditioner, great water pressure, air dryer & rags, ear cleaner, nail clippers, brushes and a raised platform for smaller dogs or if you have difficulty bending forward. Be sure your dog has a collar and must be leashed, then hooked up in the tub. For $ 5, one of their groomers will do the nail clipping if you’re uncomfortable with it.
Something I didn’t like, is dogs that are their for a grooming appt are placed in a cage then an industrial drying fan is blown at them and you’ll see many of the dogs whining and scared trying to get away from the fan.
Prices vary from about $ 12-​$ 25 depending on the size of your dog for self-​wash.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this dog salon! My husband and I bought a Yorkie about a year ago, and were needing to find an affordable, and very well reputable groomer. We decided to try Tiki Tails because I heard they were great… and that they were! Very friendly husband and wife (owners) and their groomers are great too. When you go to take your pet it, you can have a little consultation with the groomer to let them know exactly what you want done. Tiki Tails in Auburn, WA is absolutely fabulous! I have been taking my dogs there for over 3 years now and I would recommend them to everyone I know. Whether you are looking for a self dog wash or a full service groomer they are as good as it gets! I take my 3 large dogs 1 giant malamute and 2 huskies for the self dog wash. I am typically there for 5 – 6 hours each visit. so needless to say over the years, I have spent countless hours of time watching Michelle Sisk (the owner) and her crew of professional groomers take premium care of each and every dog that comes in to be groomed. They are always extremely accommodating and take the extra effort to insure that every dog has an ejoyable visit and goes home happy and clean! They are always open and willing to share expert advise and great tips on the care and/​or continued training and grooming for everyone’s dogs. Every time I leave, I always look forward to my next visit. I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone I know whether your dog is large or small. The professional, knowledgeable, and experienced team can’t be beat!

Whether you are a do it yourselfer or a someone do it for me person, this placeis for you! Tiki Tails is clean and the staff are very friendly and willing to help you in any way. The self serve facilities are easy to use and very nice! We are from the San Francisco area in town for a dog show and this place was a life saver! We recomend it to any and all whether just passing through like us or a local. Wag that tail!
