Waffle House

Do to previous reviews I did check out the health code score and they had a 95 so that set my mind at ease. Overall the food was ok and the service was slow and the table was sticky. They did get the order wrong but they were quick to remedy it. It was late, (after 12 am) and can understand being slow cleaning tables but there were a couple tables left with dirty dishes on them the entire time we were there. This lack of effort in cleaning does explain why the table was sticky. Spending a little extra time cleaning the tables would improve my score by a star because there is just something about sitting down then realizing your arm and arm hair are now stuck to the table. Just something about that I do not like at all, might just be me.

I prefer this Waffle House to all the others in Augusta/​Martinez. The staff is always very polite and friendly, day or night. I always order hashbrowns mixed with 3 – 5 toppings. This Waffle House is not shy about adding your toppings, as I seem to always get loads of mushrooms and onions and whatever else I ask for.

Got to agree with the other two reviewers. I admit it was very late when I visited this Waffle House but it was like a school playground in there. Servers just chatting, laughing, messing about. Unlikely to visit again.

I’m with the first reviewer. Worst WaHo I’ve ever been too. I can second everything that was previously said. Waffle House is usually spot on and this place was meh. There was a reason the parking lot was empty. I also noticed the DEHEC inspection score was 81. Yikes!

worst waffle house ever! waited an hour for one plate of food with hardly any people in there. and the cooks cuss loudly about the customers while cooking your food! and of course no manager on duty!
