We had a great session for family/​holiday pics with Michael Smith at Prairie Pro Photography! It was easy, relaxed, fun, and we all had a great time, and got some killer photos out of it! Not easy to wrangle a couple of 9 year olds, but he did a great job, and I can’t wait to see our families’ reactions when they see them.

Just had a family photo shoot at the Garfield Park Conservatory and the pictures are just amazing! Mike and Stephanie did a great job using the natural lighting and gorgeous background to our full advantage. Even well past their nap time and not at all in the mood to take pictures, they were able to get our two boys to cooperate and the results were really so much better than I had hoped for. They were very patient and easy to work with and I would highly recommend them for family photography. We have a really nice mix of comfortably staged photos as well as some sneaky shots I didn’t even know were taken. :-)

My family used Prairie Pro Photography to have pictures taken of our two kids. They met us at the sunken garden at Phillips Park in Aurora, IL last Spring when the tulips had just bloomed. It was a great suggestion to have pictures taken there as we had no ideas for an outdoor location. Found Mike and Stephanie (owners) from searching the web and they had examples of their work, and their rates are competitive to other photographers. I think what made them best was the quick turnaround on the photos — they not only provided a burned CD but made them available via the web so that my wife & I could see them right away. We’re looking to use them again later this year in the fall or at Christmas.

The owner, Michael Smith, took a number of excellent photos of our two children at a recent photo shoot. He provided great service and was extremely personable and easy to work with. The shoot was very comfortable and the pictures were beautiful. Will definitely be using him again in the near future.
