Everytime my wife and I think of going to Pepe’s for lunch or dinner to try a meal– we end up going to their lunch buffet! Its great with a variety of dishes. From beans and rice to chicken and beef fajitas. Its a deal when it comes to price. Don’t overstuff yourself! Just enjoy then come back. Ive been to the Pepe’s in NW Indiana. This one’s comparable– but Aurora’s also has the buffet!

we were in town and had some time to kill and based on the reviews this place looked promising. The menu has a variety of options and prices are good. Staff is friendly. The food though… Good god. I got a chicken taco salad and the shell was stale. None of the vegetables were cut up. Who wants tomatoes and green peppers sliced and thrown on top? My girl got a taco platter. The tacos were inedible. Seriously tasted terrible. I usually like just about anything but I had to spit it out. The chips and salsa write pretty good. Still on a quest for a decent Mexican restaurant in the west burbs… I’m missing southern Indiana.

I’ve been a fan of Pepe’s for over 20 years(when I still lived in IL). I still love it even after living in Texas for 20 years. The recipes are consistent between locations and I’ve never been disappointed. The margaritas are tasty and the wait staff is always attentive.

This is my default Mexican food place in Aurora. I love their tacos! It’s not super authentic, but the food is consistently good. I’ve been coming to this location for 20 years and never had a bad meal.

My wife and I really enjoyed this place! Each time that we have dined there, it has been consistently good service and food! Their carne asada dinner is outstanding! Equally, their mixed drinks are HUGE!
