Specialties

We specialize in dizziness, balance and hearing disorders. We provide both physical therapy and audiology services that include comprehensive testing as well as treatment options. Common areas that we address include: inner ear disorders, post-​concussion, neurological disorders, hearing loss, tinnitus, facial paralysis and auditory processing disorders. We also provide preventive/​well programs in the following areas: fall prevention programs, baseline performance testing for athletes (of all ages) and hearing protection devices.

History

Established in 2002.

The business began as a physical therapy practice, specializing in dizziness and balance disorders. In 2006, we added audiology services. We have been a recipient of the Top Clinics award by the Austin Business Journal for 5 years. We have also provided consulting services specific to concussion management for The University of Texas Sports Medicine Department for 15 years and for the Professional Baseball Umpires Medical Staff for 4 years. Our Audiology Department also provides unique testing for auditory processing disorders as well as testing and treatment of tinnitus and/​or hearing loss. We believe in a multi-​disciplinary approach that empowers the patient in his or her care. We accept the majority of insurance plans.

Business Owner

Bridgett Wallace, PT, DPT, has a doctorate of physical therapy and holds a competency-​based certification in vestibular rehabilitation. She is the founder and President of 360°Balance & Hearing. Dr. Wallace’s work encompasses a wide variety of disorders that result in dizziness and/​or imbalance. She continues to consult locally and nationally on the management of vestibular disorders as well as in concussion management. Dr. Wallace has co-​authored two patents on diagnosis and treatment of vestibular disorders and has developed a sideline assessment tool (PLAY IT SAFE®), which can be used from the junior high to professional level to evaluate athletes at time of injury. She has received the Health Care Heroes Award by the ABJ and was recognized as a Distinguished Alumni by the Texas State Physical Therapy Department. Dr. Wallace has also served on a number of boards and is currently involved with The Healthy Brain Foundation and Professional Baseball Umpires Medical Staff.

The office staff is rude. We live a distance away and had quite a trip to get there. If we hadn’t made the long trip, we would have walked out after the initial conversation with the staff.

Ashley did a wonderful job diagnosing the auditory causes of my dizziness, brain fog and memory problems. Bridgette, owner and PT, in assessing my balance she wrote several things in my review that I had to go to another dr. to reassess and verify her findings were not correct. They came highly recommended and I can say they were overall helpful in figuring out why I feel this way and ruling out a few reasons too.

I made an appointment at 360 Balance after getting hit in the head with a basketball. It was a couple days after the accident and I realized I was having serious problems focusing my attention and sensitivity to light.
Bridgett and her staff could not have been kinder in their assessment of my symptoms. Their office was well organized and clean. My wait was much shorter than if I had gone to ARC or Seton. I followed their advice and was back to work within a few days.
While I was there I realized they do hearing assessments too, I probably have some hearing loss from years of noisy environments. I would go back and would recommend them to anyone with concussion, vertigo or hearing problems.

I became a vestibular-​nerve post-​surgery patient of Bridgett Wallace in 1997. At that time I could barely see, walk or stand. She was instrumental in my recovery. And she is instrumental in my ongoing maintenance and support through her research.
Since that time, in 1997, I have known her as an excellent medical professional. I have been a patient and I have worked for Ms. Wallace over the years. I do not know what I would have done without her expertise and care in vestibular rehabilitation.
Her clinic, 360 Balance, has professional, kind, caring clinicians that work hard for you, the patient, to help resolve Meniere’s Disease, BPPV, brain injury and injuries to the vestibular due to medication, accident, sports related or viral complications. As well as hearing diagnostics and evaluation by a certified audiologist. If hearing aids can be an important element to the patient maintenance, then they are fitted at the clinic.
Ms Wallace and all of her medical staff are well qualified and there to help. They are kind and patient. I have seen Bridgett treat patients with limited ability to pay. I have seen her work up close, for me as a complicated vestibular patient. I have seen the results of other patient’s progress, when I worked for and promoted her clinic.
360 Balance is the best place a vestibular patient can go for physical therapy. Ms Wallace has taught vestibular rehab to medical clinicians all over this country and at the university level. She has been instrumental in promoting brain-​injury awareness over the years in sports, particularly at The University of Texas at Austin Women’s and Men’s Athletic programs.
There is nothing dishonest about this clinic or in the way they file insurance claims. The negative review about this clinic is not accurate in any way.

360 Balance is incorrectly telling anyone with a plan from the Affordable Care Act that they are not in network. This is wrong and outright discrimination. The plans are the same PPO plans that they claim they do accept. The only difference is in how they were purchased, the plan itself is the same. This is illegal behavior and they will now be investigated by Blue Cross Blue Shield for this.

Very professional and caring staff. I was evaluated at my first visit and given a treatment for BPPV. Today, the therapist led me through several balance exercises. I was given exercises to do at home and will return in 2 weeks. I already feel better! One on one interaction in a quiet atmosphere, very important as I have some hearing loss and noise is a great distraction to me.

Have had two appointments concerning vertigo, the first visit my symptoms were no longer present but wanted to discuss in the event that they returned… Had my hearing tested while at the clinic since it had been awhile. The second visit was about six months later and had symptoms of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo… issue was explained in detail and non-​invasive Epley Maneuver was performed and I was on my way. Basically a reposition of crystals moving around in the inner ear… Have visited with both Bridgett Wallace and Kathy Samaniego, both were very informative and pleasant.
