History

Established in 2007.

A Frame Home Services, LLC was created 7 years ago as a result of my wife and I buying a home in South Austin during the winter of 2006. After doing so, we experienced very poor customer service from local contractors combined with low quality workmanship, and little to no responsiveness. This experience and the will to help residences in North Austin, and surrounding areas, rebuild after the two devastating hail storms that hit the community spearheaded the formation of A Frame Home Services, LLC. We’ve been actively working to improve our company by seeking quality contractors and subcontractors, upgrading technology and processes, & consistently evaluating our price point to offer the most competitive value for home and commercial remodeling and repairs in Austin.

Meet the Business Owner

Gene G.

Business Owner

A Frame Home Services, LLC started for me when I was a kid building skateboard ramps & tree houses in the Houston area. My Dad enjoyed home repair & Bob Villa’s television program «This Old House». At the time, I did not like the t.v. show, but I grew to appreciate it & learned a great deal. During high school Summer breaks, I cut my teeth working for a flooring installer & shingled roofs. After graduation, I worked into a manager position for a painting contractor. Due to the Persian Gulf War, I left construction to join the U.S. Navy to pursue experience & knowledge. After 3 years of honorable military service, I moved to Lago Vista to begin welding, Computer Aided Drafting, & dock building. After 2 years, I changed gears to study business @ TX State in San Marcos & worked as a recruiter for several local technical firms: Dell, Cisco, Adecco Technical, & Cybertex. 4 years ago I was laid off. So, I dove back into residential construction head first & started A Frame Home Services.
