This is a locally owned/​neighborhood shop. I’d say it’s a specialty store. If you want amazing, hard to find whiskeys, come here. They have stuff other places don’t have or can’t get. If you’re into craft beer, come here. They have 200+ craft beers to choose from and are carefully selected. They have sales on Friday and Saturday where items are marked down quite a bit. They also have tastings Friday and Saturday 5:46 — 8:45pm. The main thing about this store? The people working here are knowledgeable and can help you find very specific things. Some of their products are have the best prices in town too! You can skip traffic, parking hassles etc and support local business.

This place is for realz awesome. I came in for orange liqueur and had a left with a great lesson on margaritas! The owner really seems to know his stuff. I paid, walked out the door, and he even called me back in for a whiskey tasting that was starting soon. All in all, a solid location for selection and recommendations.
Also, he told me not to use Añejo for margaritas… he was right. Luckily, I had something else on hand. So everything turned out delicious!

The owner (or whoever he is) needs to leave people alone. The few times I’ve been in there, I was being watched the ENTIRE time. I understand the need for establishing a clientele by being kind and helping people with purchases, but it becomes a problem when personal space is invaded. I couldn’t look at anything without commentary. It came to the point where I felt that the owner thought I was a thief because I was being watched so intently. I would go there if the owner would just leave me alone. Instead, I take my business elsewhere. So if you don’t mind being barraged by some dude that doesn’t know much anyway (he says everything is a fine choice), come here and buy booze. One of the cashiers is actually pretty cool and knows his beer.

Awesome store! Very organized and great selection. They only carry 40s of Smirnoff though, hence the loss of a star. If they get in some 6 packs it’ll be a solid 5!

Super nice owner! This might be the friendliest liquor store in northwest Austin.
They carry a wide range of wines, liquors, flasks, and more. And, he is more than happy to help you out, if you need to narrow things down a bit.
Others are closer to me, but this one is worth the extra ~minute of drive time.
