Wonderful experience — and I hate going to the dentist! The reception/​insurance staff at the front desk is very helpful and up front about costs. The hygienists are all very friendly and gentle. Dr. Wang is fantastic! Very calm, very thorough, but won’t waste your time with unnecessary procedures. Comfortable waiting room and exam rooms. Very modern and clean. All around great!

Dr. Blake was so great and my extraction went smoothly. He cracked me up (pre laughing gas) and felt me feel at ease. Super chill and so happy my boyfriend recommended them. Thank you Dr. Blake and Kevin! Also Greg, the front desk guy was sooo awesome. Thank you Aloha!

My 85 y.o. Mom was having toothache problems with a rotten tooth so was needing a dentist quickly. I called Aloha on Riverside Dr. and was offered a same day appt for her. For a dentist? Wow! We actually set an appt for the next day and after paperwork, were taken to the exam room promptly. The tech/​assistant was bilingual and though Mom speaks English and Spanish fluently, it was very comforting for her to be able to chat in Spanish to put her at ease. Dr. Wang introduced himself (and spoke some Spanish to her) and got to work evaluating her teeth. He determined the tooth needed to be taken out and set up right away to do it. After signing forms and numbing her mouth, it took maybe 2 mins to remove! That’s it! We were so happy to have things taken care of so quickly and very fairly priced! He gave us post op instructions and we were out the door after little more than one hour after walking in. Such nice people! I highly recommend this practice!

Really great customer service! They take such great care of you! You are greeted with a smile from the moment you walk in, to the chair, and on your way out. Definitely the best dental experience I have ever had.

I went in to get my tooth filed down and my grill whitened. They evened my front teeth and gave me an x-​ray exam at no additional cost. Going back in 2 weeks!

Aloha Dental was such a pleasant surprise and experience! Like most people, I dread going to a dental office and having my teeth poked and prodded by sharp objects but from the second I walked through the doors, I felt completely at ease.
The waiting room was drastically different from the cold and mundane environment I’ve come to expect from other dental offices. Reggae music, an old school Donkey Kong game and plenty of room. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist and within a couple of minutes, I was taken back to the examination room for my cavity filling.
Dr. Mulgrew and his assistant Kevin were friendly, funny, attentive and engaging! My cavity was filled in less than 30 minutes with no pain. This is now my official dental office!

As far as Dentist go, I loved it. Not sure if I have ever said that about any type of medical visit but they go out of their way to make it as easy as possible. Starting with some of the comfiest dentist chairs I have ever sat in to the cool «sun glasses» they provide while in the chair. While none of this is really needed, it really made it a much nicer experience.
Overall, no complaints and I will be back in 6 months.

I had been going to Austin Dental Spa for the past 10 + years but decided it was time for a change due incredibly high prices. Dr. Jumper and his staff were incredibly warm and accommodating. I had a 3 hour long procedure done and I was very pleased. I highly recommend visiting either location. I was also impressed that they offer free whitening for life!

Back for the 2^nd filling… have a few more visits to go… this visit was as good as the first two visits… the work done by Dr. Wang was exceptionally good… again…and again, several hours later, I have no discomfort in my mouth at all, no sense of ‘having been to the dentist’ … not only that… but I showed up an hour late, absolutely by accident, and they still managed to get me seen, and taken care of, quickly, efficiently, and thoroughly. I was so delighted with the visit, that I even took some photos to share with other Unilocal-​ers!

Dr. Jumper and his staff are excellent and I highly
recommend their practice. I have seen several dentists in my lifetime,
but this practice is the best! Great quality work and super
nice people! Clean modern office that plays great music in the waiting lobby.
Dr. Jumper was very thorough and good with explaining what he was doing during the cleaning and why he was using the methods at hand with my cleaning. I felt comfortable the entire time and was impressed with the latest technology Dr. Jumper used for his operations.

I LOVE this place. Convenient location, friendly staff, nice clean office and a big bonus for all the musicians in town they support HAMM (austin musician’s) insurance. aloha!

The waiting room boasts a tabletop arcade game for kids, complete with children-​sized chairs, and you can bet your ass that it’s where I sit when I’m there, and yes, I do play the games. It’s next to the outlet, so it’s perfect for iPhone charging. What can I say?
The staff are nice, and I survived my first «deep cleaning» with help from their generously juiced laughing gas and a powerful massage chair. They do offer free bleaching trays with cleaning, so now it won’t just be my skin that’s blinding people. All in all a good experience, and my other friends that go there say the same.

I’m terrified of the dentist. TERRIFIED.
But from now on I will tell everyone I know to go to Aloha Dental!

I visited Aloha Dental today, and really enjoyed it — which is to say a lot, because who truly enjoys going to the dentist?!
Anyways, everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Not to mention, very helpful, and accommodating! Especially, Claudia, David, and Dr. Jumper:
Claudia was sweet and gentle, and genuinely seemed happy to be there and to be taking care of me.
David was equally kind, pleasant, and easy to talk to — he also gave me some helpful tips that I appreciated.
Dr. Jumper was knowledgeable, thorough, and direct, while still being friendly and warm. They all make a great time at Aloha Dental, and that is a guaranteed way to have patients leaving healthy AND happy.
The office is very clean, comfortable, and decorated nicely. The dental chairs are also equipped with massage capability, so that was a relaxing and luxurious addition to my experience.
I will definitely be going back again, and I’m relieved that I’ve finally found a dental office that I like and can trust. Thank you Aloha Dental! :)

I really enjoyed my visit here. Colet (spelling?) is super friendly and doesnt mangle your mouth while cleaning your teeth. Dr. Nugyn (again, spelling, I’m going back to the fifth grade once im done with this review) was great to be around as well. Im actually looking forward to getting my teeth pulled bc I really want to play Pacman or whatever the video game is that they have in the office.

Aloha Dental may be one the best dental services I ever visited. No kidding.
The experience begins with a beautiful waiting room and very friendly receptionists.
The staff and doctors were thoughtful, knowledgable and extremely generous with their time and attention.

Great dental service, great location (off highway), and great staff. This guy named Maddie was extremely helpful by being very accomadating to my schedule and fitting me in at the exact time I wanted when it had previously been booked.
I called on a monday looking for an appt. ASAP, I spoke to a girl who told me they didnt have anything available till Friday, so I said id check my schedule and call back, wasnt going to call back. I booked an appt at another dentist when i receive a call from Maddie asking if it was alright if he checked to see if their was anything he could do and then call me back, I accepted as a courtesy because I already had my other appt.
Tuesday as im getting ready for my 10am appt, maddie calls me and says they can see me at 10 that very morning and since the other dentist who i booked through zocdoc never answered when i called them twice, I was more than ecstatic to take maddie up on his offer and drive five minutes to a great dental office.
Regarding the service, its excellent, they didnt try to push anything on me, if anything, I found out that i in fact did not need fillings like my previous dentist had told me…
Off my experience there, i would recommend Aloha Dental to anyone!

ALOHA !!! everyone :) i went in today as a new patient to get my teeth cleaned & get an overall exam done. the front desk staff, SARA, promptly greeted me with smile & helped me check-​in swiftly. the coolest thing about this office is that «SMILE «they take a pic of each of their patients for records; i already felt welcomed & cheered up … great vibe (two thumbs up).
while i was sat in the office, i realized they see «KIDS «too… i overheard they had a gentleman in the office speaking atleast 3 different languages (spanish & english) while he was constantly on the phone couldn’t get the third one… IMPRESSIVE !!! multi-​lingual staff.
i was then seen by, COLETTE, she introduced herself as the Hygienist. she came across as a very warm & caring person. Colette was very educative & explained to me what she was going to do. she is very dexterous & knows what she is doing. she kept an ongoing dialogue open throughout my time in the chair. & i must share this guys … they have MASSAGE CHAIRS in this office. so here i am getting my teeth cleaned & getting a MASSAGE too (two birds with one stone) Woo Hoo.
my exam was done by Dr. Jumper, he was very patient & diagnosed & came up with the appropriate treatment. he took a look at the x-​rays & PANO (360 degree x-​ray) explained to me about the possible outcomes. Dr. Jumper answered most of my questions & gave me his full attention.
upon checking out, Colette introduced me to Anne Marie, who is the office manager & also the treatment co-​ordinator. Anne Marie explained to me about the treatment plan & how it can be done in phases. she seemed like she is very thorough with the practice. my guess is, at ALOHA, they train their front desk staff about the back of the house too… i’ll ask her next time ??
i would highly recommend my fellow AUSTINITES to go to ALOHA on riverside, to take care of their «pearly whites» & overall dental work!!!

When you drink coffee in the morning and chase it down with a tall merlot like I do, a good dentist (and wine broker) is indispensable.
On a recent visit i had my teeth cleaned by a lovely hygienist named Colette. Not only is her cleaning style remarkably gentle and thorough, but her warm personality and beautiful smile really put the icing on the cake. The entire time i felt relaxed and assured that every crevice of my cuspids were getting the much needed time they deserved. The office is in a super convenient location just off 35 and theres lots of parking too. I’d highly recommend Aloha to all you foul-​mouthed fools.
