Over 25 years of experience

Lidia has worked as a professional seamstress for Gassane Tailors, Ace Tailors, Mesa Alterations, and many more small businesses, where she extended her expertise on all kinds of garments and all basic alterations; hems, tapers, seams, patch, etc. Her vast repertoire in her trade includes military and home apparel alterations for all women, men, teenagers and infants. Lidia has experience in building custom-​made, designer collection samplings and patterns; having ventured into projects with many fashion artists, such as: Isabella Rose (Isabella Rose Collection), Christy Craven (Lilly Lorraine Collection), Jessica Faith (Faith by Jessica Collection), as well as with many street vendor designers. Lidia has also worked with Ms. Robbie Gibson, who is known all around the world for her talent in Custom-​Made drapery, where she has gained all knowledge and inherited her artistry in drapery,.

«My love for tailoring began when I was so young, when I only knew how to sew a pair of doll jeans with a hand needle and some thread. Eventually my love went from a talent to my career and now those pair of doll jeans are a pair of zero– to three-​month-​old baby jeans I designed for my grand kids. This small business of mine is owned and operated by family and I believe in passing down my talent to my family and future owners of Alterations Tailoring by Lidia.»…
