Antz Movers

Well they were supposed to show up at 9am the came. at 9:30…I thought there was going to be a three man crew a there was not. and only two. as they confirmed the rate of 250. they made me aware of an any additional time would be 110 dollars more an hour… the two guys worked harder then most movers I seen .work and I trusted them. I had to run .and life them to work. even though it took them an hour to pack up my place they made there way to my new place… brought all my things in as I handle other things thru out the day. only went over by one hour and pay only 70 not 110 and all my stuff was in. I’ve never used a moving company before but it was worth it. I was moving from a 1bd 3^rd floor apartment into another one just up the road. While I can’t remember their names, my two movers completed the move in about 75 minutes. No dents, dings or scratches! I found them to be professional friendly.

Antz Movers were Fantastic! After calling around and getting unbelievable quotes, a friend recommended Antz movers. They were on time and ready to go. I was only moving a short distance, so I did not pad the breakables very well. Not one single item was broken. They unhooked my appliances and bedding and hooked them back up at the new place. My son was moving to another location and they even helped him load his truck. Thanks Jose and your team.

Great job by EVERYONE who helped with my recent move! The owner Jose remains highly involved, is dependable and extremely helpful. His crew is very experienced, helpful and honest. I accidentally over payed by $ 80 and the crew called me to tell me this, and gave back the over payment. I would never even have realized the over payment. EXCELLENT company!

Antz movers were great! I needed help moving on short notice. They showed up on time the day of, were quick and efficient and polite! They took extra precautions with my tvs, and valuables. When they were unloading, they asked put in the correct spot, then literally run back to the truck to unload the next item– which is something I really appreciate from someone I’m paying by the hour! They were considerate and kind enough to even move my furniture once it was unloaded if I wanted it in a different place and they re-​assembled all my heavier items without me even asking! I’ve moved 8 – 9 times in the last decade, and Antz moving was by far the most impressive moving company I’ve worked with. I will definitely both recommend them and use them again myself!

This is the second time we used Antz Movers and they were as great as the last time in 2013! Jose and his team are very professional. They arrived on time and worked steadily until the job was completed. Their pricing is very reasonable and they do what is necessary to get the job done. We had a situation which required an additional truck at the last minute and Jose got the second truck and made sure we were out of out apartment building in time. Once again I say that if you’re planning a move you should make sure you call Jose at Antz movers!

AWESOME! I have used this moving company several times and they are always awesome… very punctutuial and very reasonably priced. I would always use this company for any future moves! The crew moved me during the rain. They covered everything in blankets and plastic, and it arrived dry. I move at least once a year and this is my first Austin move experience. These guys are the best I’ve ever used. I’ll use them again and recommend them to everyone I know that is moving. Great experience!!! thanks guys

these guys have helped me move twice, and they were great both times. i didn’t have anything super «fancy» furniture/​housewares wise, so i can’t speak for anyone planning to move a chippendale dining suite or an original chagall, but they got me out of one place, across town, and into my new place in just over 2 hrs. very nice crew who worked their butts off and helped make my move MUCH less soul-​crushingly stressful. y’all are great — thanks antz! Well I thought this was going to be an easy move but it has turned for the worse. Scheduled a move with Jose from Antz moving 2 weeks before the date. We get a call the day before our move stating they had to change our scheduled time from 9 am to 2 pm because of a truck break down.
Sure no problem, 2:30 pm comes around on day of move and we receive a call from Frank telling us Jose cannot make our move and he will be taking care of our move, should arrive by 3:30 pm. It is now 4:30 pm still no word from Frank or Jose, this is the worst experience we have ever had… Will provide an update if anyone shows up…

I’ve used Antz Movers twice and I absolutely LOVE them and will not seek out bids from other movers anytime I relocate around Austin! My first go around, Jose helped me unload my truck that I brought from Florida. The second time, he loaded up my 3^rd floor apartment in South Austin, moved me to North Austin, and helped me set up my new 2^nd floor apartment, all in less than 3 hours. Jose and his coworkers are fantastic and should be at everyone’s top of the list. :) Until next time, Jose!

Jose and his crew were fantastic. They moved 1 bedroom apartment furnishings up three flights in a quick timeline. The sun was hot but they laughed and were upbeat. They took care of all my items by wrapping anything that could scratch. I highly recommend and would use them again next time i move. I searched around and their price is by far the best among movers around town.

«Wow» is all I can say. I’ve already recommended Jose and crew to multiple friends and our move was just a couple weeks ago. Don’t let the small crew and trailer fool you. They are expert movers and take care of your stuff like it was their own. And to top it off they are efficient and lightning fast. I didn’t lift a finger through the entire process and all my stuff and my house made it through the move without a single mark. Whether you’re moving a small apartment/​condo or a large house Antz will take care of you. Highly highly recommend!

These guys rock! Called them the day before turning in my keys. Eek! I know. Super reasonable and professional. Jose didn’t even get mad when I bumped up the time a half hour. Stupid traffic.

We just finished moving (again), and once again we were completely happy with our choice to go with Jose and Antz Movers. We didn’t even think about getting bids from anyone else. They are the best and they are incredibly reasonable.
They take great care to cover walls, doors, walkways, and how they pack their trailer. I don’t think we have ever seen a ding or damage from anything they have done. They are happy to move things around a bit, set up beds, or whatever is needed. On top of that, they are truly nice people.
Frankly, we cannot say enough positive things about Jose and Antz and would strongly encourage anyone moving in Austin to not even think twice about going with anyone else.

Jose and his crew saved my day! I had originally hired All Around Moving Company and when they showed up to my apartment, they told me it would be a «very difficult move» and needed to charge me literally 10x the quoted rate. My highrise is, by the way, a very comfortable place to move in/​out of due to no long walks, a freight elevator directly adjacent to the loading dock, and high powered A/​C. For movers, there couldn’t be a better atmosphere. All Around Moving Company was such a scam and were extorting me once they saw that I lived in a luxury high rise community.
My front desk recommended Antz and I was SO RELIEVED that when I called Jose he said he could meet me in 45 minutes. Jose and his two guys were extremely nice, willing to work hard, and charged a very competitive rate. They were pleasant to work with and just plain nice. So professional! My nice furniture remained in perfect condition. They even helped move all the little stuff that I was planning on moving myself. As long as I live in Austin, I will always use Jose and Antz. I can’t say enough great things about this team!!!

I had ordered a bulky and heavy chair that arrive at my front door. I barely got it into the garage, but I needed help getting it up a narrow staircase to the 2^nd floor. I contacted Jose at Antz Movers and he gave me a quote that was better than any other movers I called. On top of that, he was able to come out the next day. When he came out with two of his guys, they were courteous and careful. I was sure that getting something that big and heavy through a narrow staircase would result in at least one ding somewhere, but they managed to not touch the wall at all. They even put blankets over the wooden stair railing to protect it.
As far as jobs go, this one is pretty small. But Jose and his crew gave it the care and attention to details that earned my recommendation. I’d definitely use them again for my future moving needs.
