Apex Auto Sales

I stumbled onto these guys from an ad they had on Craigslist. I can’t say enough good stuff about them. Not only did I get an excellent car (Honda Civic) for the money, but the EXPERIENCE was the polar opposite of other experiences I had at other car lots earlier, during my search for a dependable, affordable car.
These are very, very unusual people to be running a car lot, in my experience. They should get some kind of award for The Most «Austin» Car Lot in Town — or maybe The Most «Old Austin» car lot in town, from back in the day when Austin was so small that character, integrity, and word of mouth advertising made a business a success — or not. There was just no BS involved at any point. No hard sell at any point (virtually no sell of any kind at any point!) And no pushiness at any point. And when my first option at financing didn’t work out, they went to bat for me unasked, and found me a second choice that is still a better rate than I found at any of the lots that carry their own financing — which these guys don’t. I’m still surprised, but very happy to let others know: this is the way it should be when you find yourself needing a dependable vehicle at a decent price, and want to deal with someone you can intuitively trust. Good car, good price, good people, pleasant experience. Who knew shopping for a used car could involve this kind of experience? Thanks, David and Ivan and Mr. G at Apex!
