Meet the Business Owner

Meg A.

Business Owner

Meg Armstrong is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. She earned a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree at AOMA in Austin. She has practiced both t’ai chi and yoga for more than 25 years, has been a long-​time student of mindfulness meditation and the Mindfulness-​Based Stress-​Reduction training at the UMass Medical Center, and recently completed yoga teacher training in Austin.

Through her own experience with movement, meditation, and creative arts, she has developed a strong confidence in the ability of the human body to restore health when given the opportunity to experience a balanced combination of movement and stillness.

Meg brings creativity and therapeutic skills to her work, with a background in Architecture (M.Arch, UT) and Dance Movement Therapy (MA, Antioch University). She is licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts, where she practiced as an expressive arts therapist for 10 years before returning to Austin.
