Really cannot give Jason and the guys enough praise for the work they do. There is no chance I will take my Audi S5 anywhere else so long as I’m in Austin and their shop is open.
You will be hard pressed to find better honesty, thoroughness and service than what this shop offers. I have had manufacturer scheduled maintenance and the fitting of AWE exhaust and downpipes performed and I could not be happier with the work that was done.

Treated my lambo with kid gloves and got her through state inspection fixing a pesky cel. Reasonably priced and stayed in constant contact. No trips to houston or dallas needed for car service anymore. Thank you so much!

These guys are professionals that are hard to come by. They work on much nicer cars than mine, yet every time I need their help it seems as if I’m their only customer. I would expect to pay a premium for this, but the dealership insists on charging far more for inferior service. If I brought my car anywhere else I’d probably be getting ripped off.

Joe, Jason, and the team at ATX Autosport are as knowledgeable and professional as they come. I have taken my B6 S4 there for general maintenance as well as performance upgrades and I have nothing but great things to say about them.
With other garages I always had this terrible feeling about leaving my car there. ATX Autosport is the complete opposite in that I am excited to drop the car off and do not have any concerns about the safety of the car while it in their hands.
I strongly recommend at the least stopping by to talk with Joe or Jason, that is all you will need to realize that ATX Autosport is the only place to take your car in the Austin area.

I commented that these guys do great work about a year ago… i’ve been back since, and there are 2 new guys, Michael and Tim, that are awesome additions to the team of Joe and Jason…
Michael has done some PPI and light restoration work to a late eighties 911 and everything came out great — they even suggested a few things that I didn’t catch (upgraded headlights so I can actually see at night and improved shocks that have transformed the way this 25 year old 911 drives).
Tim has a wealth of experience as well and has found some less expensive options to repair a set of gauges vs. buying new ones… fantastic! This shop just keeps getting better and better. Kudos guys. Keep up the great work.

I saw the Unilocal reviews and decided to take a chance on these guys. The reviews are absolutely true. Yes, really. I needed some repairs to my 2004 Boxster and Joe, the owner, took care of everything. He took the time to tell me about his experience (impressive), showed me around the shop (which is fabulous), and left me feeling quite at ease to leave my car there. He took the time to diagnose the problem and found an affordable fix. I can’t tell you how relieved and happy I was! I will stress no more about vehicle repairs. These guys rock!

Was impressed the moment I walked in, and when I met Joe and Jason. Clean shop, professional service and an environment that relays a first class experience. We have four cars — Land Rover, Porsche, Audi and a Mercedes — all of which will be serviced here over time.
Most recently, we had a FVD exhaust system installed on the 911 — Joe knew exactly what to order when I relayed to him what I wanted to do. He recommended the FVD bypass, and when I told him I was also thinking of installing exhaust tips as well, he’d surprised me by ordering what he thought would work, showed them to me with no obligation and I purchased them — they were exactly what I was looking for.
These guys are professionals. Feels like a speed shop /​performance shop without the hype or steroids! Definitely recommend…

ATX Autosport, Joe & Jason, are fantastic!
If you are an auto enthusiast and care about every aspect of your car… ATX Autosport is the only place to take your car.
My experience:
–2010 White Porsche Boxster Base, 55k miles–
A few months after purchasing my first Porsche the service light came on, as well I had a few small annoyances I wanted taken care of.
Obviously a 2010 Boxster is nothing compared to the other cars I saw in ATX Autosport’s shop — classic BMW 3.0 CSL, Porshce Turbo’s, Porsche GT2, Ferrari, and the list goes on. But Joe treated me like I was the most important person, his number 1 customer!
I told him my service light came on, my windshield wipers crapped out, and white smoke would occasionally puff out upon start-​up.
A few days later my car was ready and Joe took me through the entire job, step by step, in his office. He spoke as if this was his car he took care of. He talked about all the extra steps he took to clean up the car, take off the bumper get leaves out of the radiators, cleaned my brakes, fixed the convertible top which wasn’t closing properly.
Most importantly Joe did NOT replace the oil separator regarding my white smoke issue. With his knowledge he explained that this is normal for Porsches. And if my check engine light hadn’t come on, and the smoke only lasts a few seconds there was no need to replace anything.
*I feel like this was the number one reason I am staying with ATX Autosport* Any other shop would have replaced that oil seperator and charged me extra so they could make an extra buck. But Joe understands the value of a long-​term relationship for both he and the customer. Eventually that oil seperator will have to be replaced, but now I will be back at his shop to fix it. And he now has a customer for life.
A few reasons why I will be a customer for life and you should too:

Get treated like you are their only customer. Have things explained to you on your knowledge level. There is no feeling like you are getting sold to here. These guys look out for your car as if it were their own.

I have taken my 2013 Audi S4 to this place a few times and I’m glad I did every time.
These guys know their stuff. There are only 2 of them so the wait time to get your car in might take some time… it’s worth it tho. They will tell you everything you need to know about what is wrong (or right) about your car.
Prices are a bit steep for an independent shop, but again, you get what you pay for in most cases. You don’t have to worry about your car when you take it to ATX Autosport.
If you care about your car and don’t want to waste your time with shops that will screw you over, call these guys up.

I found ATX Autosport through Unilocal and yet again, it led me to a great business (thank you previous reviewers!). These guys know what they’re doing and their customer service goes above and beyond. They took care of my Cayman S like it was their own. I trust them completely with their suggestions and services and you should too. I’m so happy to have found them and they have my business for life. ATX 4ever!

I had just moved to the Austin area when the dreaded ‘check engine’ light came on on my Cayenne S. Being new to the area I was just going to take it in to the dealer, however I decided to check Unilocal and found ATX Autosport and decided to give them a chance. I was able to get an appointment the same day, and the car was ready when they said it would be. Being that I am not a car person, I appreciated the fact they
emailed pictures and spoke in layman’s terms detailing what was wrong and what was needed to fix it.
Since the check engine issue, I have also taken the car in to ATX for new tires.
I can’t recommend Joe and Jason at ATX Autosport enough! They are both very professional and honest and run a clean shop!

After I bought my Audi I heard about how hard it might be to find a good quality shop to work on an Audi. After being turned away from places like jiffy lube and others all of those shops highly recommended me to ATX Auto Sport.
After calling to schedule an appointment they got me in that day just so they could put my mind at ease and I scheduled a follow up the next day. Joe and Jason run the shop and are extremely friendly, knowledgable, and passionate about cars. It was a really pleasant experience. They truly care and I feel that’s rare with mechanics and shops nowadays. I’m not much of a car guy but they explained very succinctly everything so that I knew what issues might arise in the future!
I will only use these guys from now on in my car repair needs!!!

I can’t recommend ATX Autosport with higher regards. You can tell right when you walk into the shop these guys are passionate about what they do. They have a high level of transparency throughout the entire process, keeping you informed via pictures and email as to what they’re doing, potential next steps, etc. To top it off, they have an uncanny sense for customer service. I feel really lucky to have found this shop.

By far the most impressive shop I’ve been to in a long time. From the knowledge to the customer service to downright good people, Joe and Jason at ATX Autosport understand what it takes to run a quality shop that an Audi or a Porsche deserve. Their philosophy of working on cars like it’s their own resonated throughout the entire time my Audi A5 was in their hands.
I brought in my Audi A5 to get spacers installed and to investigate a strange road noise. Joe and Jason were extremely thorough with the diagnosis of the road noise. They attached wireless stethoscopes to each wheel to pinpoint exactly where the noise was coming from. Turns out I had some bad wheel bearings, and they needed to be replaced. Minus waiting on parts to be delivered, Joe and Jason finished work on my car in 2 days, documenting everything with photos and videos.
Going above and beyond in communicating every single detail is what I feel sets ATX Autosport apart from the other shops in town. I knew exactly what was going on at any given moment. Jason was also kind enough to do concierge service to the dealership to get my expired inspection stickers replaced.
Even if you don’t need any work done, I highly suggest just stopping by the shop to look around and chat with Joe and Jason. My overall experience was extremely satisfying, and I will be taking my Audi to Joe and Jason from here on out.

I have found my new Porsche 911 mechanic.
I was having a strange electrical issue where my battery would slowly die about every four weeks and my car wouldn’t start without a jump. Two other Porsche mechanics couldn’t figure it out. Porsche Master Mechanic Joe Leggs of ATX Autosport knew what it was immediately over the phone before even seeing my car. He fixed it in one day, came in under his estimate, and even washed my car. Perfect!
I just dropped off my BMW 530i yesterday for him to fix as well.
Overall, a very clean, bright shop with nice, easy-​going people who really know their stuff from years of experience working on the world’s top cars.
I hesitated writing this review because I know I’m not going to be able to get in next time, but I like Joe and wish him and his business the best. Austin and its cars are better off for having him here.
